I really enjoyed this excursion! The lunch was delicious, and the overall experience was great. My only suggestion would be to have at least two speedboats transporting guests from the main boat to the island. It would make the process much faster and help reduce the wait time.

Great day. Rough seas to get to the island and hit a rain storm but the crew was professional and cheerful throughout. Lunch was delicious. Very much enjoyed our time. Traveled with our family of 5 with 3 kids 12-18 yo.

If you’re a traveler who has traveled to a lot of Caribbean/Latin areas and have taken a day cruise to an island, you may be disappointed with this one. It was average at best. When you arrive to the island it is definitely beautiful and the saving grace of the trip. But they don’t start serving alcohol until lunch which is about two hours later. Lunch is also on the boat, so if you want to go back to the island/beach after — there are not free drinks there. Drinks are available for purchase at the beach but it’s cheap liquor and, at the time, $10 per shot. Lunch was delicious. Also compared to the many other day cruises I’ve been on, the staff on others have been way more hyped and bring the energy. The ones here just seemed to be there, will say the last hour of sailing back in was the funnest of the entire trip and that’s when they brought the energy, I would have loved that to be all day or at least starting at lunch when everyone started to wake up. Day cruises in Dominican Republic, Mexico, and Puerto Rico really set the bar high for me so if you’ve been on any there, you may not enjoy this one as much. I will say, there was another company there who’s drinks were included at the beach also, so maybe go with that one if that’s important for you. But if you just want a chill and relaxing time with good food, this one might be best for you. For me, it just lacked the fun and energy I was hoping for.

We would, however, like to clarify one point in your review. BlueFinn Charters does not sell drinks. All drinks are included in our tour and are served on board. It therefore appears that part of the experience described may relate to another service provider or venue on the island.

The food was good..the beach was average, the ride was choppy and the staff barely helped with boarding the small boat to get to and from the island. Overall an average experience for the price.

This excursion was so much fun. The island is beautiful with its vibrant blue water. We spent most of our time away from the people and the shore, snorkeling and hanging out with sea turtles. The barbecue lunch was good and the open bar was a plus. The trip back was a party with music and dancing. We met some great new friends too. This is a must when you visit Curaçao!

Definitely take motion sickness pills if you can’t handle the sea. It’s totally worth it but be sure to grab breakfast because it runs out pretty quickly if the tour is full. I didn’t get any but otherwise the tour guides were so much fun, food and drinks were great!

My experience with Bluefinn Charters was amazing; the boat was beautiful, crew was super friendly, and the lunch was amazing!! Not only did we get to relax, snorkel and explore the island but we also had very special visitors riding along side of our boat for about 25minutes of our trip - dolphins!

Klein was beautiful! The ride going was very rough! We had great time , with the exception of an entitled Karen , but that didn’t ruin our trip! The food was good and drinks flowing. The Crew was awesome at making everyone feel welcome and keeping the good vibes going!

I was on a solo vacation and was a little scared to be gone by myself, but it was fine. It was really good experience and the water wasn’t choppy at all as I seen on TikTok that people can get sick while going there but for me I I took two Dramamine pills and I was just fine. It was even better coming back, but the island is beautiful and the staff were amazing. Food was even better.

The alcohol didn’t start when we first got on the boat. The drinks tasted like water. The food was just ok. We were told several times that we needed to rationalize our portions on an all you can eat. The horn sounded like we were prisoners. We were not told the 2 hour ride back and forth and so we were only on the island for 2 hours. Also we were not told we had to swim to the island. Although the water was absolutely amazing it wasn’t worth $140.

Regarding the crossing, Klein Curaçao is located approximately 25 kilometers (15 miles) off the coast of Curaçao, which results in a journey of around 1 hour and 45 minutes to 2 hours each way, depending on sea conditions. We strive to communicate this clearly in our tour descriptions so guests know what to expect.
We would also like to clarify that swimming to the island is entirely optional. Guests who prefer not to swim can make use of our tender service, which transports guests comfortably between the catamaran and the shore.
As for the lunch service, our intention is always to ensure that there is sufficient food for all guests to enjoy. We regret if any communication around this came across differently than intended.

I traveled to Curaçao solo and booked this excursion to Klein Curaçao by myself. As someone traveling alone, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but from the moment I stepped on the boat, I never once felt alone.
The waters were a little rough on the way to Klein Curaçao, and the crew went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable. Leo, David, Captain Zafir, and Dennis were incredibly attentive throughout the entire journey. They constantly checked in on me, made sure I had a bucket nearby just in case, and genuinely cared about how I was feeling.
A special thank you to Leo, who gave me a simple but excellent tip: focus on my breathing and look at the horizon. It worked perfectly! I was convinced I was going to get sick, but thanks to his advice, I made it through the ride without getting seasick.
Once we arrived at Klein Curaçao, the experience became even more amazing. The island is absolutely breathtaking, and the entire day was perfectly organized. David prepared a delicious lunch that exceeded all expectations. The food was fresh, flavorful, and honestly one of the highlights of the day.
Captain Zafir and Dennis were also outstanding. They were professional, friendly, and always checking in to make sure everyone was having a great time. What impressed me most was how welcoming and engaging the entire crew was. We laughed, danced, had great conversations, and I even met wonderful people from different parts of the world.
This excursion is perfect whether you’re traveling with family, friends, a partner, or completely on your own. I can honestly say that even as a solo traveler, I never felt lonely for a single moment. The crew created such a warm and welcoming atmosphere that it felt like spending the day with friends.
I would recommend this excursion a thousand times over. Leo, David, Captain Zafir, and Dennis truly made this experience unforgettable. Their kindness, professionalism, attentiveness, and positive energy turned a great excursion into one of the best travel experiences I’ve ever had.

Great experience. The beach is beautiful, I think the most beautiful we have seen in Curacao. The guys were great really helpful and lively, they keep the vibe upbeat. The trip over was a little rough so if you get seasick easily you might want to take something for that ahead of time. On the way back it was much better. Really nice.

Amazing experience! The team and staff was so nice and welcoming 🥹🫶🏾 1000/10 experience and I will do it next time I come back to curacao. Make sure you bring cash for a tip wish they did card tips! You can bring towels and a beach bag. They will bring it to the island for you. Bring sunscreen. The staff were friendly and fun. The food was good and plentiful. You don't need cash unless you want to tip the staff which is well deserved.

We had an amazing time on our Klein Curaçao boat excursion. The island was beautiful, the whole trip was well organized, and lunch was excellent. The meal included a great variety of food, with three salads, pesto, couscous, and another salad option, plus grilled ribs, chicken drumsticks, sliced steak, delicious peanut sauce, and bread.
The bar was also fantastic and made a delicious rum punch, along with other drinks throughout the day. A big thank you to David and Ollie for being so friendly and attentive — they really made sure everyone had a great time. I’d highly recommend this excursion to anyone visiting Curaçao.

The captain of this boat made the experience absolutely dreadful. He was disrespectful and he made my group feel unwelcome the entire time. He went out of his way to make us uncomfortable. He snatched cups off our table, told his other staff not to give us drinks, and even told my friend to urinate in the water (the ocean) when she requested to get back on the boat to use the restroom. (If you’re interested in reading the full experience and back story, I will type it below) The other staff: Brandon, Rubin, and Don were incredibly kind and they stood up for us quite a bit to make sure we had a good experience despite the unprofessionalism displayed by the captain. They are the only reason I still left a tip, because I know they split them, and I was not interested in leaving the captain one red cent. I will be leaving a review on him on every possible platform and contacting the company directly to report his behavior, his bias, and his blatant disrespect. A photo of him is attached, so there is no ambiguity.
The food was really good. They had grilled bbq ribs, chicken, and steak. There was pasta and a couple of other sides. The liquor was incredibly cheap, like bad bad. So I recommend bringing your own or don’t drink the alcohol. Our boat had local travelers on it, more of an older crowd, so it was definitely boring, stiff, and uncomfortable until the last 45 minutes - truly.
Back story: my group was late. That’s a no no and we understand that. We were able to contact them before we were late and let them know we were coming. We arrived 2 minutes into the safety debrief. The captain went out of his way several times (3 to be exact) to call us out during his debrief, eliciting laughter and poor treatment from passengers as well. (We got scoffs, side eyes, and we weren’t able to be social as we wanted) There were several “now we have to let “these people” on” statements. Once we made it on, there was typical boat seating. There was a row intended for 4 people, occupied by 2 older ladies. I asked one if she could move down so I could sit. She said “the seats are for my husband and son, they’re taking pictures”. Let’s be clear, this is a b o a t that we will all occupy from 8am - 4pm. There are no assigned seats and we should fully exprect that if we leave for extended amounts of time, we’d have to sit elsewhere, as we’re all enjoying different parts for different reasons at different times. These men were never sitting there. They were standing on the other side of the boat the entire time. So I sat down in one of the spots. The classless tacky captain ran to their defense and told me “you can’t sit there, you came late, you need to go somewhere else”. I let him know exactly what I stated above. I did move because I’m in another country, my friends were looking forward to this experience, and I was being a team player. This sad man apologized to these women SEVERAL times and was pointing at me clearly speaking poorly. There was no discretion. He was dancing with these ladies and just tried to single us out and berate us the entire time. When it was time to go to the beach, the captain said “there arent enough chairs for everyone, so don’t fight over them” clearly referencing the seat situation. Eventually, we asked one of the other staff members what his issue was and they said he’s too invested and has been working here too long.
I felt incredibly uncomfortable. This was one of my first adventures in Curacao and he gave me a bad taste for the entire island. There were 6 people in our group in total. Again, I will be leaving this review and escalating the situation well beyond such. I’ll be emailing their corporate office as well. There are too many boats out here to spend my good money on and not have to worry about being disrespected or passive aggressively attacked the entire time. Shame on him, he doesn’t deserve to work front facing and I hope it ends soon.

As you mentioned, your group arrived after the scheduled check-in and during the safety briefing. This is a critical part of the trip where all guests are expected to be present and attentive, both for safety and for the smooth start of the day. When guests arrive late, it can impact the flow and attention of the entire group.
Regarding the seating situation, we do not assign seats, but we do ask guests to respect each other’s space, especially when seats are temporarily occupied. Our crew’s role is to manage this fairly for everyone on board.
That said, we take your feedback about how the situation was handled very seriously. We expect our entire team to communicate professionally and respectfully at all times, regardless of the circumstances. We will address this internally to ensure situations are handled more carefully in the future.

Definitely one of the must do things. The catamaran ride is a joy and much better than a plain yacht or other boat. The beach is gorgeous and the food back on the boat at lunch was great! The crew does a great job and the ride back was a blast.

A definite must do while in Curacao! A fun day trip to an island (about 2 hours each way) for sun, water and sightseeing. Being plenty of sunscreen, towels, water shoes (to walk around) and good vibes! The crew is amazing, lunch and snacks are provided and open bar. Def worth the $$!

Lovely trip, the boat is comfortable and looks nice, the crew was very friendly. The island has a gorgeous beach with crystal clear water.
As the winds and waves in the area are strong, the ride to the island could be quite bumpy and wet, it is advisable to take motion sickness medication in advance. Also don't forget about the sunscreen!
