This was an incredibly easy excursion for cruise passengers. We met our driver at the Starbucks by the port (just a 7-10 minute walk) and hopped in the van. We made a short stop to see the flamingoes and then we were off to a beach break for sea turtles, snorkel, and to enjoy some beach time. Then we hopped back in and explored the rest of the island visiting the blow hole, exploring a cave, swinging in to see the pigs at the beach, and for a relaxing lunch overlooking a bay while people were cliff jumping and having fun. We rounded out our tour with a stop into the Curacao distillery to learn the history, do some sampling, and some quick shopping. We saw the majority of the island in a day and avoided most of the crowded touristy areas. We’d recommend this tour to anyone who wants a break from the big bus tours that are common with cruises and who wants an experience with a local.

Lots of beach visits all over the island. Snorkeling is limited at most beaches and is good but not great. Water visibility and wind/waves are keys. Of course, the guide can't control that. Guide was very accomodating and knowledgeable - excellent guide overall.

Ray was great! He told us about activities we could do that we weren't aware of and then he asked us what we wanted to do. Once we had a plan he took us where we wanted to go. One of the beaches we wanted to visit was really crowded so he took us to another beach that was beautiful and less crowded. By far my favorite excursion I have done on any trip.

We had an incredible time today with Juan. He knew exactly what we wanted to do and the vibe we were looking for.
We got to see turtles, flamingoes and went to a few lesser known beaches for the less touristy vibe.
It was a relaxing day away from our cruise ship. Easy pickup by the port, and drop off by the port.
Our boat came in late and they were excellent about accommodating us. Loved the trip! Thanks again!

We want to personally thank our exuberant tour guide Juan for the exceptional day on the Curacao private Beach Hopping/Snorkeling Tour!!
We were arriving from a cruise ship and the directions to the meeting place were exact and easy to follow.
As we were introduced, we asked Juan to show us his favorite places on the Island and he didn't disappoint. A leisurely drive, with a stop at his family's bake shop, at our request, started our tour. (If you book with Juan also ask him to stop there. The bake goods are delicious and meeting his mother was an added blessing). We then went to the west side of the island, seeing the Hato Caves, several ocean sites that were untouched, pure nature sites. Then on to another ocean site, with a stop for lunch at a local restaurant, overlooking the ocean, with a cliff diving option, (at your own risk-we declined). After lunch Juan took us to Turtle Beach where we went snorkeling with supplied equipment. We were again blessed seeing every size turtle from one 3+' feet in diameter to small guys. The water was warm and clear with many types of fish seen too. As we wanted to go to another beach, Juan again found what we were looking for, taking a more extended time swimming, snorkeling, and relaxing on beach chairs in the sun. On our way back to our cruise ship, Juan stopped to allow us to see a flamingo feeding pond. They are very interesting and beautiful birds. During our travels we learned of the Island's history, landmarks, life there, and discussed many other topics. Juan was very informative, interesting, and knowledgeable about his Island, and a pleasure to spend the day with.
As our tour ended, Juan dropped us off right in front of our cruise ship. It was a wonderful day exploring Juan's home and making memories that will never be forgotten. Thank you Juan, hope you see all your dreams come true!!

Our guide, Juan, gave us a fantastic tour of some of the best spots in Curacao for snorkeling, general beach lounging, spectacular natural beauty, and history. Not to mention a wonderful lunch spot. We loved that he tailored the trip to what we most wanted to do, fine tuning with his expertise. He was great to talk with, too. Juan exceeded our expectations and we would do trips with him again and again!

Cannot recommend this tour highly enough.....our tour guide was so knowledgable and a great person to hang out with for the day. He made the tour completely customisable based on what we wanted to see and took us to a fabulous spot for lunch with delicious food and cocktails! Just a great day all round!

I highly recommend this tour! Ray, our guide, was knowledgeable and wonderful. Straight from pick up he made you feel welcome and helped plan what you wanted to see that day. On our way to swim with turtles (we saw them!) and another beach to lounge, we stopped at sites to see flamingos, wind turbines, tallest peak, oldest home and more. Ray made us a reservation at a delicious restaurant overlooking the sea. I highly recommend this tour. We had a blast and loved Ray!

We had the best day seeing all Curacao has to offer. Juan was the best tour guide and took us to the most amazing places from snorkling with turtles to lunch with views of dolphins playing in the bay. One of the best excursions I have taken. Highly recommend this tour

What an amazing island. We were able to see goats and turtles and all kinds of amazing wildlife and scenery. Our tour guide was incompetent. We almost missed our cruise ship because of his lack of time management. We barely made it back in time. Juan spent a lot of the time with us posting live on his social media and watching his social media and we’re pretty sure that he was smoking something when we got out of the water and found him alone at the car.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. I’m very sorry that parts of your tour did not meet our standards. You should never have felt rushed or unsure about getting back to your cruise—our goal is always to return guests at least one hour before they need to be on board. That day, the guide had to make a detour due to an accident on the main road from the west side, but he should have clearly informed you of this.
I’m also concerned to hear about the social media use. Our guides are not allowed to use social media during tours unless guests specifically request it, and smoking of any kind—including cigarettes—is strictly prohibited while guiding. This will be reinforced with all staff.
Juan is an extremely kind and respectful gentleman, and this behavior is not typical for him. We have already spoken with him, and he is truly apologetic. He understands that the service you received was not perfect—and perfect is the only standard we aim for.

Definitely recommend the experience!
Fully customizable to our preferences, activity types we wanted and things we already saw/wanted to see.
Our guide was Juan and he did an amazing job.
Lunch place was also splendid.
This kind of experience is a splurge, but 100% worth it.

Best friend and I are both in our 50's, larger, luscious, opinionated, Iowa farm gals. Ray met us promptly at Starbucks. Very knowledgeable about his country, and his love for the area is apparent. Asked what we wanted to see that day, he added a few suggestions, and we were off! Drove past the street murals and colorful homes, with Ray commenting on the history of the island. Saw the floating bridge as it was closing, and random goats that run wild on the island. Went to Shete Boka National Park to see the blow hole. Checked out the wind turbine site. We saw a few flamingos at the salt flats from a distance, since it's the wrong time of year for migration. The place Ray chose for lunch was absolutely delish, (shrimp pasta and shrimp enchiladas- NOT what we consider enchiladas, and it was amazing!) and their strawberry daiquiris were top notch. You could also cliff dive from here as well. Finished up the tour by beach hopping. I don't have many pictures of the beach, because we took snorkeling tours in Aruba and Bonaire, so this was more of a "see the sites" tour for us. We went to swim with the turtles and did see one large turtle. Then made stops at Klein Knip beach, Playa Kalkim and Playa Jeremi. Ray then dropped us off right in front of our cruise. It was an absolutely wonderful day, and we would certainly recommend this tour. Whatever you want to focus on, we are confident Ray will do his best to ensure your day is perfect!

Shu was amazing. He was extremely knowledgeable and catered the your to what we were looking for. We visited 3 beaches and spent time in two of them (2nd was too crowded for us), and then headed to the oldest restaurant in West Punt for some amazing traditional local food. We ended the tour with a quick visit to the distillery where we tasted and bought the local liquor. 10/10

It was incredible. Highly recommend Ray was an amazing guide taking us to incredible beaches and the state park while sharing his knowledge and history of the area. He saved the day when my daughter got bit by small fishes in the water. He customized the day based on what we wanted to see and do. Best part of our trip.

This was a great way to spend the day exploring the island. We told Ray, our guide, a few places that we would like to see and he took us to a few extra spots along the way and shared a lot about the island. Ray also made sure that we had lunch reservations at a beautiful restaurant on the water, and made sure we had everything that we needed all day long. This was a great experience, worth the money, and I am so happy we booked it!

This is the best excursion experience my wife & I have ever had in the Caribbean! Our private tour guide Shue was fantastic! He had so much knowledge about the island & shared lots of great history with us as he drove us around for the day. He also gave us great suggestions on which beaches to visit. We made stops at Cas Abao beach, Playa Piskado/playa Grandi to swim with the sea turtles, Grote Knip beach & playa Jeremy. All of these beaches were beautiful, among the most beautiful we’ve ever been too. The water was so clear & great for snorkeling at each beach. Swimming with the sea turtles was so awesome too as we got great videos with a once in a lifetime experience. Shue took us to lunch at a local restaurant near Playa Piskado with fresh local fish options which were delicious & an incredible view from the cliffside. We also made a stop to see the wild flamingos which was very cool to see. Overall this was such a great experience I would come back to do it again in the future. 10/10 would recommend

Ray was absolutely amazing! Incredibly knowledgeable and personable. Loved his vibe, we highly recommend this excursion if you’re going to Curaçao and want a private tour with your own customizations. Before port drop off, Ray even rushed us to a jewelry store before closing as we mentioned there was a free necklace for cruise guests. Port pickup was extremely easy and directions were also easy to follow. Again, highly recommend!

The was the absolute best excursion/booking we have ever had. I was nervous about booking an excursion outside of the cruise line but after reading other reviews I decided to book. We were emailed specific instructions on where to meet and it was a short walk from the cruise pier. Our tour guide was Shu. He was fantastic. I had had already researched things we wanted to do and I went over those things and he said let's go. We went to the caves, turtle Beach, saw flamingos, had lunch and then we were dropped off in time for shopping before getting back on the ship. Shu was extremely good with our 6 year old son. He was also very informative on the history and culture of the island. If your on the fence about booking this just go ahead and do it!

I booked this tour to get away from the usual ship excursions and it was perfect! Shu our driver was so friendly and responsive to our needs. He asked us what our plans were for the day what we wanted to do. He put together a plan that catered to what we wanted to do which was beach hopping. Each beach he took us to had something special about it. We were able to leave when we were ready, or spend more time if we wanted. He knew the history of the island and filled us in with all of it as we drove from beach to beach. I felt safe and never worried about time. I highly recommend this tour if you want to experience Curacao your own way!

Great host - Lee was very friendly, and he showed us some great views! His van was clean and in great condition. He also provided the snorkeling gear that we needed to go swim with the turtles which was awesome. He educated us on some of the history as we were driving around which I loved. This was by far the best beach hopping experience I’ve ever had.

Lee the tour guide and driver was amazing. Promptly arrived for pick up at our resort. We had a wonderful day. Lee was so knowledgeable of Curacao and took us to swim with turtles, to one of the most beautiful beaches in Curacao, and also to see the pink flamingos. We had a wonderful lunch at a great restaurant. Lee also heard us talking about our love of baseball and took us to a local baseball stadium. Highly recommend this tour and Lee.

I would recommend this private tour for anyone who is spending the day in Curacao! Our tour guide Ray was so awesome! He took us to see some of the sites in Curacao. We went to multiple snorkeling stops. We could spend as much or as little time as we wanted at each stop. It was really up to us how we wanted to spend the day.
