Excellent tour in Curaçao

This tour was very educational. I enjoyed learning about the country. I also enjoyed the tour guides multi-lingual ability. They made everyone on the tour feel comfortable. The stop we made to eat was absolutely delicious local food was the highlight of my entire trip! I stayed in a resort and there was no local cuisine.

This tour was advertised as private; however, we observed a large bus with over 40 people upon arrival at the pickup location. When we discussed this issue with the guide, he was pleasant and told us there was a mistake on the company's listing. He gave us all the appropriate contacts, who eventually said we would be refunded; however, it's been two months, and I have to receive my refund

Corinne was an exceptional guide for the day. Always polite and professional, she managed to keep the group on time and ready for the next activity. She provided interesting information about each of the stops as well as general information about the island and the life of its citizens. Nadia, the bus driver, was very capable of manoeuvring the bus throughout the city and on the highway.

This is what I some of what I sent to Lysaira Zimmerman at FBTT. I went on the Curacao island tour Sept 6th 2022. The trip was very comprehensive but overall boring. We spent a lot of time in the bus. I’m addition, I felt like I was treated different as a black woman. I felt like the tour guide had preference to the white tourist. First she asked me if I was with the other black girl on the bus (which I wasn’t) and told me to move with her for the white people versus asking the white woman on the other side of me to move with the other white woman. At times she would not use English. We (the black girls) didn’t even know to write down our drinks so at lunch we drank water. Anytime a white person asked her a question she was willing to answer even with a joke. I asked how far the park was. Instead of saying only 10 minutes she said we are on our way we have to drive, I can’t control the road. She focused a lot on the SLAVES and the SLAVES and the SLAVES and the plantation homes are Jewels of the past. I didn’t feel welcomed. I didn’t enjoy the tour itself and the 100 degree weather made it even worse with my asthma. NEVER EVER AGAIN!

Good tour of the island

I liked this tour. It is a long day on the bus however. We saw a lot. The "photo stops" were not really stops to get off the bus for a minute but more like the bus slowed down for us to get pictures. It's a beautiful island and our guide Annie was very friendly and informative.
