Great Tour!!
Our walking tour in Split was a fantastic experience and the perfect way to start our trip. Since it was our first day, it gave us a great introduction to the city and its history, helping us better appreciate everything we saw afterward. Our guide was excellent, knowledgeable, engaging, and able to answer every question we had (and more). I would highly recommend doing this tour, especially at the beginning of your stay!

Great Tour of Diocletian’s Palace
Ante provided a terrific overview of the general history of the Dalmatian Coast, especially Split, and then a detailed tour of Diocletian’s Palace. He was a great guide - excellent English, very knowledgeable, and able to explain the history in a clear and uncomplicated way.

Diocletian's Palace
  • One of the most magnificent Roman ruins in existence, Diocletian’s Palace is a must for ancient history aficionados.

  • Bring a sun hat, sunglasses, water, and sunscreen if exploring during the summer months as it can be hot and humid.

  • Some parts of the old town, including the palace’s underground ruins and the Riva seafront promenade, which is bordered by the palace’s southern facade, are wheelchair accessible, though large parts are not.
