Great tour with a unique perspective on both Split and Croatia. We thought this tour was interesting and worthwhile. Guide was enthusiastic and used many great maps and visuals on his iPad during tour. He was also very well versed in geography. I would highly recommend.

Marin was an absolutely fantastic tour guide - extremely prepared, very warm and open, and he provided us with a wonderful experience.

A must. The „little tutoring session“ of the most pleasant kind.

It's a must for anyone who doesn't just want to hear the information on the public noticeboards. Stories about the tribes, folks and people who passed through or stayed here over the centuries. Their mentalities, peculiarities - and contradictions too. Of course 😉. Sympathetic, open minded, thoughtfully presented. Marin is open to all questions and knows the answers. Exciting, entertaining and a “little tutoring session” of the most pleasant kind.

This was a fabulous tour. The guide was entertaining and very knowledgeable. We were never bored or felt the pace was too fast or too slow— it really was a perfect tour!

The buildings of Split now have historical and cultural significance

    Sharon_A, Sep 2023
An excellent tour with a passionate guide. He was personable and friendly and tried to find shade for us as much as possible. His information on the history and culture of the region was extensive. I would recommend this tour for anyone interested in the past and current history of the area. It was a walking tour and some of our group of 10 found standing while listening to his information tiring but that was to be expected on this type of tour. The buildings and squares of Split have so much more meaning now that we have the historical background. Some aspects of the city, such as the Jewish ghetto, we would have missed out on without this tour.

Thank you Sharon, it was a pleasure having your group on the tour. Wish you all the best!

    Great tour!

Marin was an exceptional guide. He kept our attention with interesting facts and funny little quips. He’s a teacher and it seems like he really loves what he does and brings that perspective into this tour. Would absolutely recommend.

Great informative tour, presented with humour, and a balance of ideas about the history of Split. A tour not about the buildings we saw, but about the influences that have shaped Split from ancient to modern times. Really interesting!

    Response from Host, Jul 2023

    Thank you! Best wishes!

    Fantastic experience

    Alma_R, Oct 2022
It was a really great and intresting tour! I learned so many details concerning Croatia's history and about the present time I wouldn't have learned on other tours. The guide is really nice and competent; he could answer all of my questions. I loved the unusual Insights into the croation society, too. If you want to enjoy a great tour and really want to learn more about the country and it's structures, I would totally recommend It!

    Response from Host, Oct 2022

Thanks Alma! It was pleasure having you on the tour. Best wishes.
