We were met on time at the cruise port. Our guide was Tina and very enjoyable to listen to. We learned so much about the area. We had time to explore on our own and she pointed out some of the best places to eat and shop. Our driver Alan was great too. I highly recommend.

It was a nice look at the city and countryside while learning about Croatia. Tina wa an excellent guide. Enjoyed time to explore between structured portions of tour. We finished at old city, an easy 15 minute walk back to the ship.

The tour of Split was very informative, detailed and we enjoyed how Tina handled it well. She's very knowledgeable , full of energy, and very articulate in explaining everything. Our small group tour guide Roko was excellent and we enjoyed seeing both of these beautiful locations on a perfect cruise ship port stop. Pick up was from the cruise ship terminal gate and drop off was in the city of Split. It was an easy walk back to the ship

Croatia trails. Wow! I don’t know how often Tina works but if you get her you have hit the tour guide lottery. Easy bus ride to Trogir then a guided tour through parts of the city. One hour of free time before we went to Diocletian Palace. Guided tour through the palace then you are on your own. Tina is a local school teacher and her English is exceptional good. She is extremely knowledgeable on the history of the city, the Palace, and the Country of Croatia history. One of the best tours we have been on.

We were told to be at meeting point 9 AM or 30 minutes after ship docked. We were on shore at 9 AM. No tour guide. We called contact number and were informed that guide was instructed to be there 10:30. Someone messed up. Then we were under the impression this was a private tour. Six additional people were added to this tour. The tour started out on the wrong foot and because of this we were in an unaccepting mood. I feel some type of refund is on order

Dear George, thank you for your feedback. First, I would like to say that you will not be given any type of refund. The guide was not late, she was there on time. On September 26th you were sent a message with the exact pick up details and it states that the tour will start at 10:30 AM. The only reason it started at 10:30 was that you stated, when booking, that your disembarkation time is 10:00 AM (unfortunately, I cannot attach a screenshot of this). The tour starts 30 minutes after docking hence the 10:30 AM start time. Since you were a group of 10 people I adjusted the start time to your specific instructions regarding the disembarkation time. Finally, no one ever mentioned nor did you ever ask for a private tour therefore people weren’t “added” to your tour, you booked a group tour like everyone else.

Due to the rain and severe traffic we were unable to have our full tour. However, Josipa our tour guide was very knowledgeable, sweet, an apologetic. One thing for sure we can't control the weather! The sights we were able to see were nice and interesting!

Very memorable because the tour did not materialize.
The day before the tour, I tried to cancel my reservation because my husband got sick. I did not get cancellation confirmation from Viator or the Tour company so we came out early to join the tour anyway in case my cancellation was not approved.
We waited for an hour outside in the heat, did exactly what the directions said, called Viator 3 times and never saw someone from the tour company.

I admire your audacity given that we issued your refund as requested. What's even more baffling is your husband's sudden recovery since you quoted a medical urgency as a reason for your refund. The guide was at the designated spot on the day from 08:30 AM (the tour started at 9) so if you did show up, you would have seen him. Since you announced your absence due to a medical problem, the guide was notified and you weren't expected on the tour. You also had the guide’s contact number, as mentioned in the instructions you read so carefully. It would have been more effective to call him directly rather than waiting in the heat and contacting "Viator" for an hour. I sincerely regret issuing the refund as you clearly need to revisit your stories and decide which one sounds more truthful.
