Great ride with kind driver.

The driver, Royer, was very kind. He offered to stop for lunch and we declined because we wanted to get to the hotel. Instead we stopped at a fruit stand and Royer kindly bought us some fresh fruit! He also stopped and purchased something from a second stand so that we could use the bathroom. Limited English but it was enough to get by just fine! He pointed out the volcano and blue river as we drove by them. Definitely recommend.

The biggest thing is that you can truly rely on them to be there when you book with them. They communicate well with you and when we walked out of the terminal in Liberia he was waiting with a large Envelope with my name printed in LARGE letters. They request your flight info so that they can see if there are delays, etc. A few days before departure I messaged for a return transfer to the airport . They suggested the time to be picked up for our particular flight, and he was there at the hotel waiting a bit ahead of time. Both drivers friendly. Thanks!

Airport transfer couldn’t be better

We used this service from and back to the airport. They were very responsive via email to schedule and confirm before the trips. Also, when I couldn’t find the driver in the airport and needed to contact them on the fly, which I really appreciated because that was a little stressful. Turned out the driver waited by the side door and I only looked outside the front door. Pick up at the hotel was exactly on time - always a concern with a long drive and early flight. All in all great service with both drivers.

Airport Transfer to/from El Mangroove

Very good transportation company. Our driver Daniel met us outside the airport after we secured our bags from baggage claim. He was easy to find and very helpful. We used the same company for our return home. Our flight was delayed over an hour and the driver waited at our resort as we worked through the departure delay and potential flight cancellation. Again excellent experience on the ride back to Liberia airport.

Harold was our driver and...

Harold was our driver and he was phenomenal. This company is easy to work with and they have great people working for them. Originally I had booked just a ride to the airport but we couldn’t check our luggage in that early. I contacted them and they gave me the option of renting the vehicle for 3 hours. So much better than sitting at the airport. The vehicles are clean and luxurious. My family enjoyed having the to see Old San Juan after our cruise. Harold picked us up from the cruise port, loaded our luggage and we were off seeing the sites. If you have time before checking in for your flight I would highly recommend. Driver stays with your luggage while you are able to shop, sight see, get something to eat, etc. He got us to the airport with zero issues. Highly recommend!!!

Richard was waiting for me as I got out of baggage claim with signage with my name. He was professional, polite and got me to my destination safely. I will definitely use Fortuna Expeditions again. My only regret is that because I was unwell, I took medication that made me drowsy and forgot to tip. Nevertheles, I definitely recommend.
