What are people saying about Buenos Aires

Highly recommend!!
We highly recommend this experience! Our hosts, Maya and Marcos, were very welcoming and Marcos is an exceptional chef. The food was incredible, authentic, perfectly cooked, and paired with great wine. The rooftop atmosphere was beautiful and welcoming - it felt like a full cultural experience, not just a dinner. This was definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Buenos Aires.

Absolutely amazing!
This was one of the best tours I have taken from Viator, and I have taken a lot! Emi was amazing! So informative and very knowledgeable about history and neighborhoods. He helped us so much with understanding the culture of Buenos Aires and Argentina more. I would take the tour again!

Bodega Gamboa Wine Tour
Our host, Iara, was incredible. Even though I was the only person in the group who spoke English, she took the time to translate in English for me, ensuring I could fully enjoy every moment of the experience.
Warm hospitality and personal attention**
Iara’s thoughtful translations made the tour accessible and enjoyable.
The staff throughout the visit were friendly, accommodating, and attentive.
Lunch and food experience**
The lunch was delicious and thoughtfully paired with the wines.
Fresh ingredients and well-balanced flavors complemented the tasting.
Wine quality and selection**
The wines offered a great representation of the Bodega Gamboa portfolio.
Knowledgeable explanations enhanced the tasting experience.
Overall experience**
A memorable, well-paced tour with excellent hosts and a welcoming atmosphere.
Highly recommended for anyone visiting the region, especially non-Spanish speakers.
If you’re considering a wine tour with a personal touch and superb hospitality, Bodega Gamboa, guided by Iara, is a fantastic choice.

We had a fantastic tour...
We had a fantastic tour with Jimena. She was incredibly knowledgeable and told us all about the history and symbolism of the cemetery and how it tied to the broader story of Buenos Aires. She made sure to take time to answer questions, and took the tour at a good pace. A really excellent way to learn about La Recoleta.

Very nice
We were picked up from our hotel a little late than the indicated time but that's okay. The pick up vehicle was the vintage blue collectivo bus which was cool. Then we were taken to the Albije Tango theatre and restaurant in San Telmo. The 3-course dinner was served at 7:30 pm and it was good. The tango show started at 8:30 pm and it was wonderful. After the show, we were transferred back to our hotel safely.

Great!
From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere felt warm, intimate, and genuinely welcoming. It’s a small class, which makes a huge difference—you’re not just watching, you’re actually part of the experience. The host created such a relaxed environment that it felt more like being invited into someone’s home than attending a formal class.
Learning how to make empanadas from scratch was both fun and surprisingly approachable. We got hands-on with every step, from preparing the filling to folding the dough, and picked up tips that I’ll definitely use again. It was especially interesting to learn about the different regional styles and traditions behind them.
The wine pairing aspect elevated everything. Each empanada was thoughtfully matched with a local Argentine wine, and the explanations were clear, engaging, and never overwhelming. It gave me a whole new appreciation for how flavors can complement each other.
What really made this experience stand out was the personal touch. The group was small enough to have real conversations, ask questions, and share a lot of laughs along the way. By the end, it felt like we’d spent the evening with friends rather than in a class.
If you’re looking for something authentic, interactive, and a little more intimate than the typical tourist activity, I can’t recommend this enough. It’s the perfect blend of great food, excellent wine, and genuine connection.

Great time
We enjoyed our experience with the wine tasting. The room was set up so nicely with wine glasses and different cheeses and fruits to eat with the different wines served. All the wines served were fantastic! We were even treated to empanadas which were delicious!

Tigre Tour was beautiful and relaxing.
There is a half hour tour bus ride to Tigre where we board a boat that takes us up.and down the Tigre River reviewing homes, other boats and rowers on the river. Our tour guide and driver were great. The tour guide gave us ibteresting historical facts. You also meet people on the tour or we did. 🙂

Great way to see Buenos Aires.
The full trip is about three hours but it gives you a great overview of different areas to go back and visit. Headphones are provided and multiple languages for the narrative available. We enjoyed the two day pass. First day did the entire tour and second day went back to specific areas.

Great dining experience - even for those with allergies
We loved the experience. The food was great - loved having a wide variety of small plates. I am allergic to dairy/eggs and let them know ahead of time - they were spectacular in accommodating. Did not make me feel bad for asking - which only elevated the experience. Our hosts were super attentive and positive. The only thing that could improve the experience was perhaps noise abatement in the room. it would get so loud from all the talking that it was difficult to hear those around us. Other than that, I would highly recommend this to anyone at any age.

Tango? Say No More!
El Almacén is a true gem that transports you back in time, offering visitors a chance to step into another era, even if only for a few hours. Rather than mass-producing an experience, this venue curates something intimate and authentic, allowing guests to fully enjoy the journey. The dancers are exceptionally skilled, and the musicians are remarkably talented. Don’t hesitate to book El Almacén—and leave the Vegas-style shows for…Vegas!

Great pickup service in Buenos Aires
We had a flight cancellation and couldn’t make it on the day we were supposed to arrive. I sent a note to them and they rearranged to pick us up when we did arrive a day later. Great customer service.
Our driver was on time, very helpful and courteous. He got us to our destination quickly and safe.
Great experience, we will use again when we come back. Thanks!
