The full trip is about three hours but it gives you a great overview of different areas to go back and visit. Headphones are provided and multiple languages for the narrative available. We enjoyed the two day pass. First day did the entire tour and second day went back to specific areas.

Seating availability was good even during busy times. The bus frequency was about every 30 mins as advertised. Bus staff were friendly and helpful. All in all a good experience and value for money.

Buenos Aires - Hop on Hop Off

WLaNorris_F, Apr 2026
We took the Red Line and we saw so much of the big city of Buenos Aires. This is truly a great way to hear about the history and enjoy the sites while getting off at places of interest. We enjoy this excursion almost every city we visit. Highly recommend.

Take the Yellow Bus, the red one is not good.

Jean_W, Apr 2026
The days we traveled on the bus the routes were changed with little to no information and absolutely nobody to call for help. We walked a significant distance to a stop to find it had been changed with no notice, wasting 90 mins of our day. We missed out on a significant portion of the route due to changes that were not reflected on the interactive map or in any of their information.. TAKE THE YELLOW BUS, we saw it pass regularly as we waited for the red bus to show up. Very disappointing. Viator still has not responded to our requests through their app, useless.

Good expo

Marian_S, Apr 2026
Nice experience although you’re going thru a very busy city so the trip will take longer than you might anticipate

Visiting Buenos Aires

Hang_T, Apr 2026
The tour bus provides lots of information about Buenos Aires. It's good for first-time visitors to know about the city. It's worth the money.

Avoid the Traffic and Embrace the Culture of Buenos Aries

Dorothy_C, Apr 2026
It’s a great way to experience Buenos Aries. I highly recommend completing the tour in its entirety, then hop off to experience the locations you most desire. If you desire to hop on/off at each stop, start early. There was a hiccup with the narrative and the actual stop midway through the tour so make sure you’re in sync at each stop. Also, finding the starting point was not clear so give yourself enough time to locate the starting point. Hopefully they can clarify that information in the very near future.

Disappointing. Not very handicap accessible.

kristi_b, Mar 2026
No handicap help or accommodations. Got on at 2 different stops BUT had to wait for 2nd bus both times due to capacity limitations. Which I get but there was no place to sit, standing only and once in the humid sun. Doesn't make for a good experience. After waiting the 2nd time, I was afraid to "hop off" the bus. Unfortunately, this company also likes to advertise the BA Chinese NY--which resulted in no view for the front 4 seats of the bus. Audio did not sync with stops which reduces the effectiveness.

No boat

Elaine_P, Mar 2026
Paid extra for boat tour and was not available because if wind. Really was not windy at all. Did not enjoy.

Terrible experience!

Pamela_W, Mar 2026
Very unprofessional and it didn’t matter that we had prepaid! We were dropped off in the rain, and after an hour of standing in the rain we left. The two buses that arrived in the hour that we waited were full so that we could not get on.

No clear indication on...

Anne_V, Mar 2026
No clear indication on where the stops are. Adress is missing to find these via google maps. We had to search for 45 minutes and have been waiting for 45 other minutes. Finally took a cab to be at the Theatro Colon in time for our reservation.

Great way to see Buenos Aires.

Disappointing ride

Judith_V, Mar 2026
2 out of 4 people in our group could not hear the tour because their ear phones did not work. The tour could be shorter with less history.

Screwed in BA

James_K, Mar 2026
You better get a map of where the stops are. We walked for 45 minutes till we found a stop. Also be prepared to have the narration cut in and out. Our bus didn’t follow the map provided. Very poor experience

There are over 25 stops,...

Tim_R, Mar 2026
Buenos Aires is a large city and there are over 25 stops in the route, so you use your time wisely selecting the best sites for you while starting the tour at the earliest timeslot available, this will give you the best experience possible. Thanks and enjoy, Tim

Had to wait a long long...

Jane_D, Mar 2026
Had to wait a long long time for a bus. The yellow busses went by twice while I waited at one stop. Hard to match commentary to places they’re describing.

A Fun Ride

James_S, Mar 2026
The individual stops we clearly marked which we appreciated. We got on&off a few times and one of the buses had the wrong audio for all the stops - it was out by 3 stops behind. The route itself was very good with lots of variety.

Excellent way to see the...

Donna_K, Mar 2026
Excellent way to see the city and learn about its history. It’s also a good way to get from one attraction to another. We typically book this bus the first day we arrive in a new city. This narrative was better than some we have had in other cities.

The bus was quite crowded...

Tim_F, Mar 2026
The bus was quite crowded the day we used it, and many people had to wait for subsequent buses. Additionally, the route was a little confusing since the numbering of the stops didn't exactly match between the map, the signs at the stops, and the audio provided on the bus. And the audio at my seat, at least, was hard to hear as it cut in and out.

We rode the full circuit...

Bill_M, Mar 2026
We rode the full circuit the first day. It's a great way to see the city with interesting commentary. The next day we did the on/off at the sites that we were interested in.

BA Hoho tour

James_R, Mar 2026
Great way to get an overview of the city for first time visitors although Grey line needs to erect signs at ALL p/u points. We got lost for over an hour trying to find the stop around the planetarium and gave up and walked 8 km home! There were also route changes in the Palermo area and the map did not correspond. For the price paid they should keep things in order. Also two of the buses had serious vibration issues when seated towards the back that made us shake strongly at low rpm. One last thing is that the whole circle trip is about 2-1/2 to 3 hours.

Great Experience To Get A Wonderful Overview of the City

Cynthia_L, Mar 2026
This is a good way a great way to see a lot of Buenos Aires Argentina at one time. I wrote the entire 3 1/2 hour circuit without getting off on the first day and on the second day I was able to go back to the the places I wanted to see and spend more time. Therefore buying the 48 hour pass worked well for me.

Quick tour of the city

Ramon_R, Mar 2026
The audio is not the best & the cues for the surrounding areas tend to be either too late or way to early. With that said I totally enjoyed the ride, because it was never packed like the yellow line so we got to experience viewing the city without a packed bus. So if you are a traveler instead of a tourist hop on the red bus & just enjoy this beautiful city.

Subpar hop on hop off bus ride

Patricia_L, Feb 2026
Very poor tour. Very little to see and narration doesn't match locations. Way too long. Worst we've been on.

Horrible hop on hop off experience.

william_p, Feb 2026
Waited for bus forever finally came and passed us by. Never got to ride bus at all after booking and wasted our money.

Great way to see the city

Suzanne_W, Feb 2026
Be sure to join the grey line / red bus route. Information regarding joining point and actual stops was a bit vague for me. A local tourist centre pointed me in the right direction. The bus I was on did not do the full route and the stop numbers given did not match the stop numbers on the map - or the numbers on the bus stops themselves. This meant I did not get off at the stop that I should have done so postponed that visit for another day. That said, the audio guide is good and gives a nice introduction to the city. The bus tour in entirety took about 3 1/2 hours. I did the whole route (having missed my stop) and then got off to explore BOCA a bit more. Overall, a very nice way to spend a morning and great way to get to some of the places that are not easily walkable from the centre. I would highly recommend

Best tour in Town

Martin_A, Feb 2026
AMAZING TOUR !!! Just the Best option to visit Buenos Aires. Highly recommend. Gray Line did it again!!! Congratulations!!!

Great way to see city as...

Jacqueline_M, Feb 2026
Great way to see city as a tourist, informative audio, 1 round 3-4 hours, by 1st stop delicious ice cream !

Maybe book directly with Grayline?

annesauve59, Feb 2026
The audio is often not synced to where you are. Audio not always clear and sometimes cut out. Audio often indicated a wrong stop number. The navigation from Stop 6 was canceled but we were not told ahead of time so we could plan alternatively. Grayline had difficulty finding our reservation, which was stressful. Still waiting to hear from Viator about a refund for the difference in price between tickets with and without navigation. Walking tours generally only in Spanish but we lucked out. Great walking tours at Stop 6 and 8.

A good option.

Kirk_B, Feb 2026
We loved the tour and would recommend it highly. Biggest challenge was finding the actual location for pick up. With today’s technology it should be easy to geo-identify the exact location of each stop. Please consider this.

The tour is not narrated

Alexander_E, Feb 2026
There are two (2) hop on and Hope off bus services in Buenos Aires. You need your know this. Viator promotes Greyline and does a poor job letting you know this. The ticket taker does not say anything along the tour except letting you know what stop number it is. You can pay a monkey to do that or use the monitors on the bus to do that as well. A little narration would have gotten her some tips. But that was above her pay grade. The ear phones are given out to listen to music and not about information about area. Didn’t see the point. Both companies Need to up grade. Lastly many of us requested to turn down the air conditioning. Request denied.
