This unique interactive dining experience starts with your arrival at the location and meeting your fellow foodie travelers.
Suit up in an apron and chef's hat, and then learn how to close traditional Argentine empanadas using different "repulga" techniques. After, sit down to a dinner consisting of food from all four corners of the country, including "bife de lomo," arguably Argentina's best steak. The food served varies, but might include famous culinary exports such as chorizo and grilled provoleta cheese, and is paired expertly with four varietals of wine.
Finish by learning how to make your own maté, a traditional tea drink that has its own ritual, etiquette, and history, which you'll enjoy with "alfajores," the typical Argentine dessert.

My wife and I had a fantastic time with this dining and cooking experience in Buenos Aires. It was a really nice mix of hands-on cooking, learning about Argentine food and culture, and then sitting down to enjoy the meal together. The whole experience felt relaxed, friendly, and very well thought out. The hosts were welcoming and did a great job explaining what we were making and why, without it ever feeling like a formal class. We learned a lot, but it mostly just felt like a fun evening spent cooking and eating great food with good company. And the final meal was excellent — everything we made was delicious. This was one of the highlights of our time in Buenos Aires and a great change of pace from regular sightseeing. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone who enjoys food and wants a more personal, memorable experience.

After two weeks of traveling in Argentina, my family still agree this was one of our best dining experiences. From the moment you step into the building, you are treated like family. The staff goes out of their way to make sure everyone feels welcome and included. We participated in making two dishes, which was great fun. However, the highlight is enjoying 14 dishes and innumerable courses. The wines were outstanding and well paired. Don’t skip this experience.
Do not miss this. From the very beginning, it was amazing. The food was exceptional and the wine fantastic. But the staff made the whole experience really special. So knowledgeable and warm. Do not eat before you go!!!
What a fun experience which I totally recommend. They promised good food, good vibe, and an opportunity to socialize with various travelers in the group. They delivered all of that
This is so worth your time and money. From the time you are greeted at the door to the time you leave happy and full of such good food, you are welcomed as family. You are given a wonderful history of Argentina food and the most amazing food and drink. It's such a warm and inviting experience. Before you know it you'll be laughing and toasting "chink chink." What a great introduction to Argentinian home and hearth. Franco and Augustina, our hosts, and all of the staff and chefs were perfecto.
This was an amazing experience! They did such a wonderful job making this a special experience. The obeisance was great and the food and wine was delicious.
Started off to a rough start by being made to stay outside in the cold while the “tour agents” from Argentina were let in, but in the end it was great! The food was amazing and you got a great lesson about the different dishes that you were eating. The wine was flowing for sure!
Fantastic experience! I went my first night as a solo traveller in Buenos Aires and was able to connect with fellow travelers and try excellent food. Chef Luis was fantastic and the crew guiding us through the experience, Stefano, Agustin, and Valentina were amazing! You learned about local cuisines, wines and cultural traditions all while chatting with your neighbors in a large open table concept. 10/10
would recommend for anyone curious for an intro to Argentinian cuisine!
Agustín, Stefano, and Valentina were amazing hosts. Had a great time, endless flow of wines, and A LOT of food. Highly recommend!
Wonderful interactive small group experience. Food, wine, and company were excellent. A great way to spend the first night in Buenas Aires.
Interactive dining and cooking experience shared with other travelers. Staff was attentive to the guests and informative about the food, wine within the context of Argentinian culture. Excellent experience.
The Argentine Experience was 5 star. Stefano and his partner guided us through the process with style, humor and great Argentine cuisine knowledge. The venue was in a nice part of town and easy to reach. I highly recommend it, you won’t be disappointed.
Food and company was great. Fun way to learn about Argentina. Staff was fantastic - kept things moving at a great pace. Definitely recommend.
This experience was wonderful! Highly recommended! The food prepared for us & the ones we prepared were delicious! A lively group of people from around the world gathered. Such fun in an elegant setting. Don’t miss this one!
We loved the experience. The food was great - loved having a wide variety of small plates. I am allergic to dairy/eggs and let them know ahead of time - they were spectacular in accommodating. Did not make me feel bad for asking - which only elevated the experience. Our hosts were super attentive and positive. The only thing that could improve the experience was perhaps noise abatement in the room. it would get so loud from all the talking that it was difficult to hear those around us. Other than that, I would highly recommend this to anyone at any age.
It was a wonderful evening with so much food and wine. Everything we had was delicious. We enjoyed meeting other guests as well. Would highly recommend.
Best activity in Buenos Aires
Delicious meal and the 2 hosts ensure all participants had a great experience
A must do!
Great evening with delicious food. Stefano, Valentina and Laiura were terrific hosts and we met fellow travellers as well as preparing and eating delicious food (but don’t worry - you only help prepare a small amount of total food and it is fun). Walter the chef prepares the most delicious steak and side dishes and the wine pairings were fantastic. We had a lot of fun learning about regional food. A really fun evening
This was an amazing experience, all 6 of us loved it! In fact, the empanadas we made (with the help of Nico and Stefanos of course!) were the best we’ve eaten on our entire trip in Argentina! And when you pair them with great Argentinian wine it was over the top. I would definitely recommend this to anyone visiting Palermo and Buenos Aires. And as previously mentioned, Nico and Stefanos were wonderful!
This was fun, informative an very good value for money. Would definately recommend spending an evening there
This was an amazing experience from beginning to end. The employees were very inviting and well organized. The food was phenomenal!!!!Every course was well prepared and delicious and explained well. The meats melted in your mouth and the sauces complimented them well. It was fun to make the empanadas. Big kudos to the chef and whole team. It is an activity that is not to be missed when in Buenos Aires. My only recommendation is a print out of the menu provided to the guests since many of us did not know the names of some of the courses. Other than that it was MAGNIFICENT and an excellent value for the money. If we ever go back to Buenos Aires we would do the exact experience again
You will participate and enjoy the preparation of some of your own dishes and sauce. Made some great conversation with others that we had never met. A wide variety of samples were presented and it seemed like we would never stop trying something new. This was a HIGHLY enjoyable and entertaining experience!!
Spectacular exposure to different regions of Argentine cuisine and wine. We were matched with a fun and diverse group of travelers. Our hosts, Augustin and Julien, were gracious and informative. What a treat! Highly recommend!
The most fabulous food experience! Delicious, entertaining and informative. The staff is super knowledgeable and friendly.
Absolutely outstanding experience! Great food, great wine, very engaging and lots of fun! I want to come back and bring our adult children.
We had a wonderful time at The Argentine Experience. The food was phenomenal and the wine pairings were a great addition. We got to try all the traditional foods of Argentina and since this was our first time, it was an awesome introduction to the great culture and hospitality of the Argentinian people. Thank you so much everyone!

We knew from prior reviews that this was a must do and it did not disappoint. Six of us wrapped up our Argentina vacation with tastes that will stay with us. It’s not just another dinner, it is a tasty and fun experience. We thoroughly enjoyed each chapter’s story, accompanying wine, and food. Having a few hands on activities gave extra pizazz and conversation point to the evening,
Candy and Julian were exceptional hosts. The food, wine, and interaction were exceptional! Thank you for a wonderful evening!
We enjoyed excellent food paired with very good wines, and the staff and chef were very friendly, helpful and informative
The food and story behind food were all wonderfully presented, you get to have some hands on experience, which makes the meal more interactive and personal. Stuffs were very knowledgeable, accommodating and helpful, it was a very memorable experience. Plenty of food and wine to be had, in case you can’t finish the food, they would offer doggy bag for you.
