Great tour, not so much for kids. Tour guide was knowledgeable about the wines, the vineyard was well-kept, and the pours were generous (especially by U.S. standards). Absolutely fantastic lunch! So many courses, all creative and yummy. We ordered the brisket (after reading some reviews, and the reviews were spot on)--it was fall-apart tender and juicy. Four appetizer courses and four desserts, if my counting was accurate. The tour was a highlight of our days in Buenos Aires. So much value for what we got.

Great way to spend the day! 8 course lunch with wine pairings. Our guide was very gracious to explain everything to us in English even though we were the only ones in the group who did not speak Spanish. Food, wine and service all excellent. The winery is not very old so I don’t think many of the wines had much aging yet.

It’s takes about an hour and a half to get there to Bodega Gamboa. Be prepared to drink quite a lot and eat quite a lot. It was a great day out and worth every penny. Everyone is so friendly and helpful during the day.

What an amazing tour. Most of the wines were red but the first one we tasted was a sparkling white. It was actually my favorite. More generous pours than in California.
Lunch was included and they brought out many dishes. In addition we were able to choose a main course of either chicken, brisket (boneless short ribs), or flank steak cooked to order. The flank steak was not like American flank steak. I didn’t enjoy it at all (fatty and overcooked) but I tasted my husband’s brisket. It was delicious.
Nicholas was our guide and he was awesome! Someone said they came from Georgia and he said “oh peaches”. We are from Honolulu and he asked about Kilauea. He was very knowledgeable about almost every subject that came up and he entertained us with stories about his life. He genuinely seems to enjoy his job. Iverall a great experience.

Spent two hours getting there and two hours getting back to the hotel due to traffic and picking up other
S at different hotels. Not worth your time.
At the vineyard you get plenty of food, little mediocre wines and wait for your driver to pick you up.

Renata and Guadalupe take great pride in their job. It was great and the food is never ending. Take an appetite.

We were greeted with a glass of wine before taking a tour through the vineyard. We were told about the history of the winery and growing methods while walking through the vines. We had 2 more samples of wine before a brief peek into the production building and return to the restaurant. The tour was in both English and Spanish. We were served tapas with more wine and then a choice of entrees. The food was very good. We started at 10:30 and were done by 2:00. By the time we left the restaurant was full.

Its an amazing experience. You get to tour the vineyards and the winery. Wine selection is amazing. Food is great.

The vineyard was great. The food was good. The three hours we sat at the table for lunch was too, too long.
Ted_D, Jan 2026
Food was great, vistor guide was very informative. My only suggestion as I saw in others is that 80% is in Spanish when we booked an English tour. Felt we missed some.

The food is amazing..delicious and lots of wine.the staff is great and made sure that info was delivered in both Spanish and English

We had a mixed experience. First, the good part. Our Viator guide was excellent and knowledgeable. The transportation was prompt with a good driver. The food experience was 5 stars! Six appetizers, a main course of meat with salad and vegetables and 4 desserts. The food was cooked on a wood burning oven. Now the not so good. The vineyard is still a work in process and the growing conditions for grapes are not ideal. The wines from Mendoza were fine. The wines from the local vineyard were not so good. If you’re a wine connoisseur you will be disappointed. Unfortunately also, the winery tour was conducted mostly in Spanish. Our Viator guide had to do most of the translation into English.

This is a most when you plan your visit to Buenos Aires, Argentina. Great service, the wine tasting was done in a slow pace, no hurry. The lunch was espectacular.

Fantastic experience. The wine was great, the food was amazing and more than anticipated, and the service was great too. We learned a lot and had a great day. Highly recommended!

This tour was totally unexpected in the best ways. First, we had private transportation to the Gamboa Winery. Once at the location, you choose your table and the go on a short guided tour and walk through the winery with tasting of different types wines some of which were surprisingly good. Then we went back to the dining area and were served a multiple course gourmet lunch. It was exquisite!! Our driver, Rodrigo was super nice and made our drive to and from the winery smooth and enjoyable.

Wine was good, food was not great. A lot to pay to go to one wine farm and while the hosts were friendly they didn’t create any energy.

Interesting tour of small new winery an hour from Buenos Aires. You don’t have to go to Mendoza. Get to walk the vineyards and where they make the wine with whole process explained. All topped off with a large excellent lunch with more wine. A hidden gem.

What a wonderful experience. We got picked up at 8:30 am, picked up other travelers and got to the Vineyard at around 10:30 AM. We went through the vineyard itself and had a few wines and even beers sampled. Went through where they make and bottle it. Than went to the restaurant for a wonderful lunch. The appetizers were shared family style across the table. I lost track after 5 how many appetizers there were. We had a main where we had the choice of 3 options. Than we had 3 desserts. Service was fantastic. The tour guide was fantastic. We got back to our hotel at around 5:30 PM

This was such a wonderful experience! Yarra (I hope I spelled her name correctly) was very knowledgeable and thorough with the tour. She was able to give the information in spanish and english. The wine and food was incredible! 10/10 recommend

We were picked up at our hotel by Alejandro. The day before this tour, we went to Colonia del Sacramento, Uruguay and Alejandro was our driver then too. He walked us through both days to make them go smoothly.
When we arrived at Bodega Gamboa it was pouring rain outside. We didn't go on the walk around the vineyards or eat outside. They brought us to wait for other guests in an outside patio area overlooking the vineyards.
We were then brought down to the cellar lined with wine bottles. There we met a sommelier who explained to us everything about the wines, winery, and how to taste the wine. We were served cheeses and meats and nuts to go with the wine tastings.
We were then brought upstairs back to the outdoor patio to have lunch. It was a wonderful lunch with many many courses; and also endless wine.
After lunch, our driver, Alejandro, came in to escort us back to the car. He had an umbrella with him because it was still raining hard, and he drove us back to our hotel.
I enjoyed our experience at this winery and would highly recommend this to anyone.

This experience was a lot of fun. It was very cool to be able to taste their wine before it hits the shelves.

This was a fantastic experience from start to finish. After a short and comfortable ride to the winery near Buenos Aires, we enjoyed an excellent tour of the vineyard, learning about the winemaking process firsthand. The wine tastings were generous and featured a great selection. The food was delicious and paired perfectly with the wines. Overall, it was a memorable visit and absolutely worth the price.

This was a lovely experience, exceeded my expectations. The winery is beautiful, the tour was conducted is Spanish and English; I was the only English speaker so I really appreciated it. The staff was so kind, the food was delicious and the wine was great. Transportation was also seamless, my driver was Jesus and he was so friendly and kind. Thank you for a great day.

Great Wine, great food, great company. What more can you ask for in life? The Tour itself Was interesting as well.

An hour’s drive in a small air conditioned comfortable van. Welcomed to the winery, with a lovely glass of Chardonnay and munchies.
Walking tour through the winery, with large umbrellas for sun protection. Stopped along the way to sample
other wines. Returned to a totally delicious lunch trying so many dishes, again with lots of wines - Chardonnay, Pinot noir, 2 different Malbecs and rolled back to the Van. Glorious afternoon. Thank you!

Enjoyed private transfer from hotel to the vineyard. Many varieties of food to try and wines. This was an excellent thoroughly enjoyable activity in this beautiful vineyard in the countryside a short ride away from Buenos Aires. Easy 5 stars!!!
