What are people saying about Bruges

Time well spent
Hugo was a great host and guide. He was well informed of local history as well as local fare. You could tell he was proud to share his Belgian history and insights. We shared in local frites, and a flight of fun beers from a local brewery. We viewed the wall of beer with all of the unique glassware. I had shared with Hugo my desire to taste a specific local beer. Hugo modified the tour to make that happen. Perhaps the best part of the tour was to see the affection the various vendors had towards Hugo, which was easy to understand. We enjoyed this tour and our time with our guide.

One of the best walking tours I’ve done in Europe!
A great tour and very informative! Was a great way to see and learn about Bruges from a local guide, Mike was an engaging tour guide! Loved the canal cruise and the chocolate tasting. Highly recommend to anyone interested. A decent amount of walking but lots of rest breaks provided which was helpful for one of my family members who is still recovering from surgery. The tour is structured well - about an hour of walking, 30 min canal cruise and then about another hour of walking. Plenty of time and opportunity for toilet breaks as well if needed. One of my favourite walking tours I’ve done!

The chocolate workshop...
The chocolate workshop was amazing! We made delicious chocolates (filled and flat), enjoyed hot chocolate and learned about some history and some chocolate making technique. Sasha was a wonderful host and the chocolates were delicious. The place was well air conditioned, though there are steps to get in and a flight of steps to get upstairs, which may be difficult for some folks. Additionally, the workshop involved a lot of standing. We had a great time, but some folks may want to call about being downstairs for the class if the stairs are an issue.

Medieval Specialist
Mauricio made our Bruges experience absolutely exceptional. My husband especially loved the depth of historical and architectural knowledge he shared throughout the tour — it truly brought the city to life in a way we never could have experienced on our own. What made Mauricio so special, though, was that he balanced all of that rich history with warmth, humor, and personality, making the tour engaging and fun for me as well. He has a true gift for storytelling. Bruges is beautiful on its own, but Mauricio made it unforgettable. Highly, highly recommend!
