- Children (<16 years) should be accompanied by an adult on a 1:1 basis.
- We only serve alcoholic drinks for participants of 18 years old and above. Minor participants below 18 years old will be served non-alcoholic drinks.
- The workshop is in English as people from all over the world participate. Our hosts can translate some parts if necessary.
- Each chocolate station, also known as a chocolatière, is shared by two participants.
- We use dark chocolate for crafting the praline shells. Milk chocolate is used for the ganache filling.
- Age requirement: This workshop is for participants aged 12 and older.
- Please inform us of any food allergies or dietary restrictions in advance.

I would highly recommend this to anyone on a short visit to Bruge. A very informative presentation during which we learned the processes of beer making alongside tasting whilst partaking in the main event of making chocolate. This was also very informative with hands on experience of making chocolate which we then took home.

This is an excellent experience in that you learn about chocolate making and history of beer in Brugges while making your own masterpieces of chocolate! Greta was very friendly, made us feel very welcomed, easy to learn from and such a joy!
Fantastic host. We had a marvellous time learning about Cocoa, pralines and the different beers. We started by making the chocolate shells then adding ganache and flavours. It was really amazing to practice how it was done.

Highly recommend this chocolate making and beer tasting experience. We were running late and our hostess (chief chocolate maker) kindly caught us up. Our class was full and it was so fun meeting others. We got to make our own chocolate candies and learn about the process and beer! Our chief baker was unflappable, informative and had the ability to help us all when needed. Highly recommend.
The Unique Belgian Chocolate Making Workshop in Bruges was one of the highlights of our trip! My granddaughter and I absolutely loved the experience.
Our instructor was fantastic—friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about Belgian chocolate. He guided us through each step of creating delicious handmade chocolates, explaining not only how to make them but also why certain techniques are used. He also shared the fascinating history of Belgian chocolate and how it has evolved across different regions.
Because the class was small, everyone received plenty of personal attention and hands-on instruction. As an added bonus, we enjoyed a beer tasting, and our instructor explained the unique characteristics and history of each beer we sampled.
This workshop was fun, educational, and delicious! I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Bruges, whether you're traveling as a couple, with family, or with friends. It's an unforgettable experience and well worth the time. Not only did we get to take our delicious chocolates, but we also received our aprons & a shopping bag.
They canceled my tour 16 hours before it was to take place (but if I cancel, I just do so 24hrs or more before.) This left me no time to rearrange my schedule. Sadly, diapponted.

This class is hands on, making chocolate pralines and tasting some local beers. Our host/instructor Wilfred was warm, funny and gave great information. You leave with a box of lovely chocolates that you made. And some interesting chocolate, beer and local history.
This was an excellent way to spend a couple of hours...never made chocolate before, which was very interesting, and good to taste 3 local Belgian beers during the process...our teacher was very knowledgeable and informative...

This was such a fantastic experience! The best of Belgium! With souvenir chocolates to take home! Our instructor was fun & very knowledgeable in both Belgium beer AND chocolate making. We left informed and motivated to try some day on our own. This experience was a highlight of our time in Brugge. Thank you!
This event was a lot of fun. The chocolate master was very personable and a great instructor. Everyone in the class was friendly and having a great time. The beer tasting was an added plus. We will definitely recommend this to anyone traveling to Brugge.

Fun, engaging and learned a lot. The chocolate we made is divine! The beers were selected carefully, and each one was distinct.
Informal and fun experience. Our group was a mixture of nationalities and the instructions were given in English. We successfully made about 15 filled chocolates (per couple) with top quality chocolate, ganache, nuts and flavoured syrup. During the session we were also served with 3 different types of beer and told the history behind it whilst we waited for the chocolate to harden during various stages. It was great fun and we came away with a gift box filled with our own tasty creations. I would recommend this!
This was such a fun experience after a long morning of exploring Bruge outside. You get to make your own chocolate treats while tasting Belgian beers and learning all about the history of both in Belgium. Wilfred was a wonderful host and I would absolutely recommend to anyone that has 2-2.5hours to spend.

Thai was such a fun time. The chocolate was amazing. The learning experience was very rewarding. And the beer was delicious.
We had a fab time at the chocolate making and beer workshop! The host was really engaging and fun, and we learnt lots about Bruges, beer and chocolate making.
We tried 3 different Belgian beers - all delicious, and successfully made 21 chocolates with 7 different fillings. They were good at catering to dietary requirements too (one of us was vegan).
A small piece of advice, we found it very tricky to locate the workshop, if there could be a sign outside to make it easier that would make it even better! Thanks for a lovely time - would recommend as an activity for your trip.

Enjoyed the class and chocolate making with a group. Was disappointed when 5/7 members of the group were set up to make chocolate, and 2 were expected to share both the experience of making and what was taken home, when it was asked at the beginning if everyone would be making and taking chocolate, and told this true. It was not. This was not reflected in the price.
