Great outing away from Porto

It was good to get out and away a little bit from Porto into a little less touristy area. Braga and the visit to the Jesus Mountain was extremely interesting. One interested in biblical traditions, particularly from a Roman Catholic tradition could spend far more time there. Every detail of the architecture has meaning and significance. It is a beautiful, peaceful environment.

History galore in Guimaraes and Braga

We had what turned out to be a private tour to Guimaraes and Braga with Bruno after a group canceled. We were treated to inside information by a local who knew the stories and history in both cities. We saw the Bom Jesus cathedral and grounds, had a nice lunch in Braga after seeing more sites, and were guided around the castle, palace, and old city center of Guimaraes. Such history in each place and so well preserved. Very much recommended!

Wonderful time!

Nuno was a wonderful tour guide. Our group was 6 people (not including Nuno). He was friendly and knowledgeable. There was a little more walking than we anticipated, but we still enjoyed the day tremendously. Lunch was included. I expected a lame sandwich. I was pleasantly surprised that it was a 3 course meal with a glass of wine. Everything was delicious. I would highly recommend this tour.

My husband and I are...

My husband and I are traveling with our two sons- ages 15 and 11. We booked this excursion for the last day of our trip, and what a grand finale! It was amazing. Ricardo is knowledgeable, welcoming, kind and accommodating. Both cities were beautiful. The food we ate was fabulous and the tours were incredible. Highly recommend! Completely worth the money!

A great tour

Thoroughly enjoyed our day tour with Ricardo. He was very good at the history of the areas and explaining it to us and conveyed the grey areas of history as well. Well worth doing and a completely different tour away from Central Porto. Places we would not have gone without this tour but loved them both!
