Great overview of Hilo's natural features

This trip was really good. The guide (Rusty) was very informative and kept us all on schedule. The Black Sand beach was very cool (we saw turtles) as was the National Park (by pure luck we saw Kilauea beginning to erupt). The nut factory was OK (just a store really) but lunch there was not bad. Rainbow Fallswas good. Lots of restroom opportunities. We felt this tour really hit all the highlights of Hilo and would highly recommend it.

A Journey Through Time and Space with the Amazing Kyla & Mr. Tay

Still dreaming about last night’s tour! Mauna Kea provided a once-in-a-lifetime sunset and the most unbelievably amazing stargazing I’ve ever seen. This was my first time ever looking through an actual telescope, and it was mind-blowing! We had two incredible guides (stars ⭐️) who truly made the night. Kyla (her Hawaiian name means 'Peacemaker'!) was so passionate while sharing the cultural stories and legends of the mountain - it added such a deep, welcome meaning to the experience. And Mr. Tay was funny as hell while teaching us the astronomy side of things! The mix of science, storytelling, and humor was the perfect combination. 10/10!

Chris was an excellent tour guide who was very knowledgeable about Hawaiian history, Mauna Kea, and was a wealth of interesting facts. We are from Hawaii and enjoyed this tour and learned a lot. I am so glad I took the tour rather than drive myself as it was a long drive and you needed a 4x4 at a certain point. The tour was well prepared with jackets to keep us warm, Sandwhich and hot coco, and rest stops to enjoy the scenery. The tour and tour guide was awesome!

ATV with History of Island

Honda Rancher ATV’s were easy to operate. Beginner ride experience, although we went through some sloshy puddles that you had no problems getting through. For families with one or two small kids, they have a 4-seater. Guides were very knowledgeable whose own families grew up on Hawaii and knew the history dating back 100 years. It’s a great trip! This is not considered an extreme or anything close to extreme ATV experience. They start out in 1st gear and gradually go into 2nd gear and a couple places I used the 3rd gear for a short time only. The price was right. The drive into Ohana Ranch was “interesting” in the rain! The road was a little harsh, but my Nissan Kicks made it no problem. Enjoy and Mahalo!

What a fantastic experience! The tour operators were very professional and they had us seeing manta rays within minutes of entering the water. We saw many, many manta rays in the time we were in the water. It was great having such a small group of people, I highly recommend this tour!

Captain Bryce and crew mate Molana were wonderful! They were both super welcoming, funny, and knowledgeable. The water was perfect, not too cold. I was a bit nervous going into this but once in the water, and seeing these beautiful gentle giants took all the nerves away. The largest female captivated us all, coming inches from our faces and bodies, doing flips and swimming so gently around us. Then comes 5 others showing us all how beautiful they are. I got a bit sea sick on the way back, water was choppy and rough but we all made it back safely. Highly recommend this… I will definitely do it again!

The Big Island Tour with Wasabi was so worth the money. It was a small enough tour to make it personal. What makes a tour is always the Tour Guide in our opinion. Well Henry as we call him “Enrique” did not disappoint in the least. This man knows his Island and shows every bit of pride In the history, his heritage, the agriculture and all there could possibly was to know about this beautiful place he calls home. All we can say is we are sold and will be looking to make this our new home. Henry we hope you don’t mind having us as neighbors. As a local native, Mel brought so much knowledge, history, and heart to the experience. He didn’t just drive us from stop to stop, he transformed the day into a living story of Hawaiʻi. He educated us on every aspect of our adventure, from the island’s volcanic landscape and natural wonders to the rich culture and history of the area. His passion was contagious, his personality was warm and engaging, and he made the entire experience smooth, fun, and unforgettable. If you get the chance to tour with Mel, consider yourself lucky. Wonderful tour with Aidan

Aidan was so great. We learned so much about Irish history-and music!- while walking around the city. The places we ate were all delicious and not anywhere we would have known to go, even with research. We were with our 9 and 12 year girls and he made sure to engage them and ask if they had any food preferences and told great dad jokes. 😁 He also accommodated our cancelled flight and moved our reservation so we could sleep a bit. It felt like we were walking through Dublin with a very knowledgeable uncle. Overall, I would 100% recommend this tour-with Aidan!

A Sunset to Remember

The boat ride was so fun…the whole crew seemed to be having a good time right along with the guests. There were some pretty good waves at one point so be prepared if you get any kind of motion sickness. A dinner of teriyaki chicken and rice with macaroni salad was also included so you definitely won’t leave hungry. We saw the most beautiful sunset as Hawaiian music played in the background. An unforgettable adventure!

The weather over the volcanoes was horrible and unsafe so our pilot, Jim, gave us the option to fly the northhwest coast, andd see waterfalls, green valleys and whales. What a great option and was perfect for our first ever helicopter flight. Highly recommend this tour and the company was very professional and personable.
