First off, it was...

First off, it was beautiful and totally surreal. It was a once-in-a-lifetime thing for sure. Second, it was freezing. I thought I was silly putting on long pants and packing a long-sleeve shirt and sweatshirt before we left the warmth of the coast but if I could have put on more layers I would have. They offer you a parka and ski pants once you're on the top -- wear them both!

Wonderful tour with Aidan

Aidan was so great. We learned so much about Irish history-and music!- while walking around the city. The places we ate were all delicious and not anywhere we would have known to go, even with research. We were with our 9 and 12 year girls and he made sure to engage them and ask if they had any food preferences and told great dad jokes. 😁 He also accommodated our cancelled flight and moved our reservation so we could sleep a bit. It felt like we were walking through Dublin with a very knowledgeable uncle. Overall, I would 100% recommend this tour-with Aidan!

Best snorkeling trip ever!

Great day. Captain Bryce was a blast and shared some meaningful Hawaiian spots and culture back and forth. We not only snorkeled in beautiful waters at a meaningful Hawaiian Historic site, but, we saw dolphins and even caught a humpback whale during our travel on the boat. Will gladly recommend the Hang Loose guys and go back on my next visit to the Big Island. Thanks Guys….great job!

Amazing trip

I went with Jacob, Fisher and John and it was a blast. Manta rays were already there waiting to perform as soon as we got in the water. There were maybe 9-10 of them just barreling and feeding, some of them were really big (in the 7-8 feet range) and some of them were more shy and stayed at the bottom. It was good to see a mixture of both. I got brushed against by a few of them every now and then, they were super friendly. I brought my own 3mm wetsuit to stay warm and it was a good move. If you get cold easily you may want to rent at least the top from them. Your arms may get really tired from holding on to the floatie so be prepared.

Caron Bryce and crew of the win!

What an incredible experience! The tour guide was relaxed and took the edge off for anyone who could possibly be afraid! The team of three lead by Capt. Bryce was very aware of the passengers needs, stayed engaged with all guests and answered questions. As we were pulling out of the Channel we were asked if anyone wanted a picture of the sunset, everyone sat in their seats, as th sunset developed in to a stunning red sky, Bryce stopped the boat and said “are you sure no one wants a photo” - a testament to his awareness and respect for the beauty of nature but of his guests. Once arriving at Manta Ray Village, the crew took great care arranging the light boards and ensuring directions were communicated and clearly understood. As we ascended in to the water and got the light boards, the water was cool but not miserably cold, th mantas came almost immediately to the plankton coming to the light. While we were watching these incredible creatures swim, one of the crew was giving incredible facts about the Mantas. Over all this was one of the most incredible experiences. Peacefully and enlightening. I would suggest this adventure and this crew to anyone!

A Sunset to Remember

The boat ride was so fun…the whole crew seemed to be having a good time right along with the guests. There were some pretty good waves at one point so be prepared if you get any kind of motion sickness. A dinner of teriyaki chicken and rice with macaroni salad was also included so you definitely won’t leave hungry. We saw the most beautiful sunset as Hawaiian music played in the background. An unforgettable adventure!

We had an amazing experience on the ATV tour at Ohana Ranch, and a huge part of that was thanks to Hannah! From the moment we arrived, she was friendly, welcoming, and made everyone feel comfortable, no matter their experience level. She gave clear instructions, kept safety a top priority, and made sure the whole group was having a great time. Hannah’s energy really stood out—she was fun, engaging, and knowledgeable about the area. She pointed out cool spots along the ride and made the entire experience feel more personal and memorable. You can tell she genuinely enjoys what she does, and it shows in how she interacts with guests. The ride itself was incredible—beautiful views, exciting trails, and just the right mix of adventure and relaxation. Hannah made sure we stayed together while still letting us enjoy the thrill of the ride. If you’re thinking about doing an ATV tour at Ohana Ranch, I highly recommend going with Hannah. She truly made the experience unforgettable!

The weather over the volcanoes was horrible and unsafe so our pilot, Jim, gave us the option to fly the northhwest coast, andd see waterfalls, green valleys and whales. What a great option and was perfect for our first ever helicopter flight. Highly recommend this tour and the company was very professional and personable.
