Incredible tour of the Forbidden City + Extras

Ling ling Sun gave us a fantastic tour of Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City earlier today. Her excellent knowledge and passion for sharing the history of the museum made this an unforgettable tour! Her English speaking skills are also excellent. Even more notable was the effort she put into making this a truly remarkable sightseeing event by taking us to a tea house at the end of the tour for samples, recommending we see the incredible Beijing Acrobatic show afterwards, helping us get tickets and even waiting for the show to end to take us back to our hotel. I have never had a tour guide be so customer focused as Ling ling was today! Thanks so much!

Good tour and very good guide. Helen, our guide, was extremely passionate and attentive to our needs. We started the tour at the Forbidden City because Tiananmen Square was closed in the morning. She did a great job of showing us the highlight of Forbidden City, then once we finished we moved to Tiananmen Square (which had reopened). Great knowledge of what we were seeing and context. Having her take care of everything made it super easy and efficient for us. Overall, a good tour. Linda, who did the arrangements with the tour company was also very good.

Summer was an excellent guide. He brought to life the history of both the Ming and Qing Dynasties, as well as the little known Shun Dynasty, as we explored the Forbidden City together. It was especially interesting for my family as we're fans of period C-dramas like Story of Yanxi Palace, Ruyi's Royal Love in the Palace, etc. which took place at the Forbidden City during the Qing Dynasty. We enjoyed our morning with Summer thoroughly, and highly recommend this tour.

I had an incredible morning tour of the Forbidden City with our amazing guide, Linda! From start to finish, she made the experience memorable and engaging. She picked me up at the hotel making the start of the tour effortless. Linda’s knowledge of the history and stories behind each section of the Forbidden City was impressive, and she shared it all with so much enthusiasm. Linda was attentive, answering questions patiently and offering tips about the best spots to explore afterward. Her passion for Chinese history and culture shone through, making the whole tour come to life. If you're thinking of touring the Forbidden City, I can't recommend this morning tour with Linda enough – you won’t be disappointed!

Linda was an excellent guide, she was in touch soon after we made the booking and sent various tips about visiting China before we left the UK. We had unfortunately chosen Chinese National Day for our trip and Tiananmen Square was closed when we started the tour, so we went to the Forbidden City first, when we returned to visit Tiananmen Square the queue was over an hour long, Linda continued the tour well over the 4 hours, and provided lots of helpful information.
