Tony and his wife were absolutely amazing. Tony is an extremely knowledgeable guide with great English, a fun personality, and so much experience — he made the history and views come alive. His wife was a wonderful driver: safe, calm, professional, and incredibly kind. This was hands down the best tour guide/driver duo we’ve ever had. We loved them so much we invited them to lunch after our visit to Mutianyu Great Wall, and it turned into one of our favorite memories of the trip — we even ended up having a cute little photo shoot with her at the restaurant! Couldn’t recommend them more!

Don't pass up on The Wall!

Traveling for business, my coworkers and I decided to see the Great Wall before a late flight. We were picked up promptly at 7am and were on our way in a comfortable van with all our luggage. Once at the Great Wall, we were quickly able to take the shuttle and ski lift with no lines (I recommend getting there early). The guide gave us the option of a challenging route or easy route. We took the challenging route and enjoyed some great views (approx elevation change was 700 feet). We didn't feel rushed or slowed down, we were able to spend as much or little time as we wanted. After we saw enough of the Wall, we took an exciting toboggan ride down. After that we attended a tea ceremony and was able to taste many different teas. A short 30 minute trip after that we had a great lunch at a local establishment, which included beverages. Then we were off the to airport (PEK) and arrived just before 3pm. The driver was very safe and the guide was extremely nice and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this tour for anyone departing PEK in the late afternoon or early evening. The added activity will ensure you fall asleep quickly on the flight home.
