What an awesome experience! Taking a hands-on Thai cooking class in Sukhumvit was definitely one of the highlights of our time in Bangkok. We love Thai food, so getting the opportunity to learn how to prepare authentic Thai dishes ourselves made the experience even better! The class was fun, interactive, and a great way to experience Thai culture beyond the usual sightseeing. Learning about the different ingredients, spices, and cooking techniques gave us a whole new appreciation for the flavors that make Thai cuisine so delicious. One of the best parts was actually getting into the kitchen and preparing the food ourselves. There’s something really satisfying about cooking a delicious Thai meal and then sitting down to enjoy what you’ve made! Unforgettable Thai cuisine course

This was my first time taking a Thai cooking class. Our teacher, Cho, was very enthusiastic and patient. We made Tom Yum soup, stir-fried rice noodles, Massaman curry, and mango sticky rice. The taste made under the teacher's guidance is very authentic. A course on self-sufficiency and self-sustainability.

What A Delicious Experience!!

This was an uh-mazing experience. They started on time. Cho did an amazing job educating us along the way. She was English-speaking, upbeat and fun. She made the workshop exciting. The place was clean and as a germiphobe, I ensured there was no double-dipping and random sharing of germs😉. The food was delicious and well-seasoned. Tip: don't eat before you come, as there was an abundance of food with the 4 courses. You will be OVERLY full. Another tip: if you choose the AM session be mindful of the traffic--IT'S A BEAST! (You'll get there quicker on a bike). Also, if you come alone, you will chat with the others in the group. We had a lively group!

I recommend this cooking class without hesitation!!!

My cooking class was amazing!!! The experience started with a guided tour of the market where we selected spices for the recipes. The cooking teacher shared several interesting anecdotes about the market, Thai food, and Buddhist beliefs. Then, we cooked 4 Thai recipes: the famous pad thai, green curry with chicken, sweet and sour Tom Yum soup, and mango sticky rice! We also learned to make green curry paste. The cooking teacher was very attentive, pedagogical, kind, funny, and warm. At the end of the class, I even received a Thai cooking certificate. I recommend this cooking class with Maliwan without hesitation!

We had such an amazing experience at Thingly Thai Cooking School in Bangkok! The class was fun, interactive, and one of our favorite experiences of the trip. We learned how to make Tom Kha soup with shrimp, shrimp Pad Thai, green curry with chicken, and mango sticky rice — and everything was absolutely delicious. Get ready to explore local markets and cook simple Thai dishes under the guidance of owner Pimmy. Come with an open mind to learn more about local spices and favours. The activity is good for families to bond over cooking and food! We had been to Thailand numerous times and was looking for a different experience. We opted for the 9am slot or otherwise we would have woke up late and prob having breakfast and end up in a local mall. The experience ended by about 12+ leaving us with still alot of time for the rest of the day. We prepared the ingredients and cooked mango sticky rice, curry chicken, Tamarind prawns and tom yum goong. It was simple to follow and we were also provided recipes so we may try when we return to our home countries. We will definitely be back to learn other dishes.
