We had such an incredible time this morning with June as our local guide through the market and teaching us to cook as well as her sisters. I was so impressed by how fun and funny June was to be around, my partner and I had such a memorable morning learning techniques like the lime and the kaffir leaves! We would love to return and we will definitely follow along with the awesome recipe book we were given. Thank you thank you thank you! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A standout culinary experience in Bangkok! Our morning at Sompong Thai Cooking School was seamless, professional, and full of energy. From the moment we arrived—10 minutes early—the team made us feel incredibly welcome. The facilities are excellent, featuring clean hand-washing stations, accessible restrooms, and complimentary bottled water. Our instructor, Ant, was a highlight of the day; her energy and spunk made the entire session entertaining yet highly informative. We began with a guided tour of a nearby local market. Ant expertly explained how coconuts are processed for cream and milk, and introduced us to various Thai chilis, coconut sugar, and fresh aromatics. Back at the studio, the hands-on cooking was both fun and practical. We left with full bellies, a detailed recipe book, and the skills to recreate these authentic flavors at home. If you are looking for an engaging and authentic Thai cooking class, I highly recommend this school and Ant!

Memorable experince!

It was a well planned cooking course. We started of with a brief explanation of the day, went to a local market a few minutes away, got a few minutes to do some personal shopping and went back to the school. We got a cook book and went through all the ingredients mostly used in thai cooking. Then we got a demonstration of how to cook each dish and got to try it ourselves. My friend is a vegetarian and it was no problem at all to alter the dishes for her, the staff made sure all the dishes had no meat and even asked about the fish suace for her. The staff at the cooking school were all very enthusitic and helpful. Highly recommend this class to anyone who want a well rounded cooking class experience!

This class was wonderful! They were accommodating to my vegetarian diet even though I was the only one and it worked. I also really enjoyed going to the market and learning how coconut milk is made along with learning g about the different ingredients. Our teacher was excellent and the food so delicious!
