Loved the food and want to come back and do it again
I had so much fun in this class! I love Thai food and was so happy to learn how to cook it here in Thailand! Chon was a great instructor. Incredibly patient and kept the vibe fun with a unique sense of humor. The food turned out so delicious, I am still craving more. I love that I actually learned how to make it to the point that I feel confident to make this again back home. Top notch experience

We loved this class
We loved this cooking class. Song was our instructor and was such a great entertainer and teacher. We picked out our ingredients at the local market before cooking. Song explained all the different local ingredients. The cooking was very interactive and very tasty. My wife and I agreed that the pad thai and tom yum we cooked in this class was the best we had in our 10 day stay. Highly recommend this class to those looking to learn about the local cuisine.

From Market to Mango Sticky Rice
We had a short tour of the market, which is always a great way to understand a country’s culture and food culture. Then we took a tuk-tuk — a little rally! — that brought us to the cooking class.
We prepared four courses, and everything was delicious. It was especially interesting to make our own curry paste, which tasted amazing once cooked. There was so much food that you’d think, 'I can’t eat another bite' — and then the final dish arrived: mango sticky rice. You always find room in your stomach for that incredible dessert. It was so, so good that we could have eaten more and more.
Thank you very much for this wonderful cooking class and experience!

Highly recommend, good for families
Family of 4, with 2 children ages 7 and 9 years - we really enjoyed the experience. The market experience was fun, we were shown lots of different ingredients, tried some fresh coconut and mango, and were loosely involved in the buying process. Everyone (children included) were given the opportunity to chop their own ingredients and had their own gas burner so that the food could be tailored to individual tastes. Cho was very engaging and brought lots of energy to the class. Huge amounts of food (don't eat beforehand). Nice gesture to be given a recipe book and set of chopsticks upon departure. Highly recommend.

Lovely cookery day
This was an excellent experience, a very small market near the meeting point to see where Bangkok cooks get their ingredients then by tuktuk back to the kitchen for our cookery day. The menu varies by day of the week; we made coconut milk, Pad Thai, Tom Kha Gai, mango with sticky rice and green curry. Excellent tuition in a very well organised setting. I’d definitely recommend!

Definitely do this!
Joyce was so great! The class was informative and so much fun! My 16 year old son was not excited to take a cooking class and afterward, he said it was his favorite thing we had done on our trip so far. The food was absolutely delicious. Joyce has such a sweet family and she busts her butt for the classes. Would go back again and again!

Shuttle to our hotel
Finding our shuttle was a little overwhelming in the Bangkok airport, we did receive communication with instructions but there is a lot going on in that area of the airport. Once we found it we had to wait a few minutes for a driver to be available. We did not have that experience at other airports. Our driver did a good job of driving us safely to our hotel.

This hands on cooking...
This hands on cooking class was a lot of fun. Schoo was an energetic teacher that explained a lot about the different Thai ingredients and how to use them to make a delicious 4 course meal. Everything was well set up and the ingredients were fresh and high quality.

The class was very fun!...
The class was very fun! Our instructor was very friendly and informative and provided a lot of guidance while also maintaining a fun "classroom" environment. Each dish was tasty and easy enough to prepare by myself (a novice cook) but fun enough for my partner (an experienced cook). The instructor also did a great job of connecting different groups within the class, so we got to know each other better. All in all, we'd recommend it to friends!

Get ready to explore...
Get ready to explore local markets and cook simple Thai dishes under the guidance of owner Pimmy. Come with an open mind to learn more about local spices and favours.
The activity is good for families to bond over cooking and food! We had been to Thailand numerous times and was looking for a different experience. We opted for the 9am slot or otherwise we would have woke up late and prob having breakfast and end up in a local mall. The experience ended by about 12+ leaving us with still alot of time for the rest of the day.
We prepared the ingredients and cooked mango sticky rice, curry chicken, Tamarind prawns and tom yum goong. It was simple to follow and we were also provided recipes so we may try when we return to our home countries. We will definitely be back to learn other dishes.

Wonderful class, absolutely recommend!
The Thai cooking class with Maliwan was fantastic! We met Maliwan at the school and took a tuk tuk together to a local market. This was a wonderful experience, Maliwan is so knowledgeable and we spent some time going around to different stalls to pick up fresh ingredients. Back at the school, we had a short break and then started cooking. Maliwan demonstrated making each dish, before we started on our own. We made a green curry paste from scratch, then used the paste to make our own green curry with chicken. We then moved onto the next dish. The class was a highlight of our trip to Thailand, and we're looking forward to recreating the dishes at home. A big thank you to Maliwan for such an incredible experience
