Book it!... Best photo opportunities, its an all day outing so be prepared. Our driver Laden was great! Monkey forest and the coffee and Tea tasting were nice little add ons. The waterfall was nice be prepared to walk over 150 steps down and back up!!! Definitely a workout would not recommend for those with limited mobility

This was a great experience to get to know about Ubud from a local guide. It does involve walking, thus means steps, but not too many. Win, our guide was delightful, gregarious and patient (we walk slowly). She gave a potted history in an easily digestible way at every site visited. The tour was unrushed, with breaks now and then. Local snacks and water were provided.

Amazing experience. Fernando and Yogi were fantastic guides. They were great at spotting wildlife, taking diving photos, and supporting weaker swimmers by floating with them in the back of the group. My wife and I felt safe under their leadership, even in the Manta Ray area which had more aggressive waves. We were lucky enough to see all the wildlife including the Manta Rays, Sea Turtles, Eels and spotted a pod of dolphin. While sea turtles are common, the others are more rare and are not seen on every trip (50/50 chance we were told). Overall would recommend this to adults and would even do it again. It may be risky for a child in the Manta Ray area given the large swells and being somewhat close to the rocks. We did not see any children snorkeling in this area from either our tour nor any of the other boats. The other three spots are much more manageable. Also, I will note the initial ride to the island and the final ride back do face ocean waves and so motion sickness is possible. No one on our boat got sick but most did take motion sickness medication at the beginning. There is an additional optional ride up to the Penida point. Roads are BUMPY but the view is once in a lifetime so we thought it was worth it if you can handle the bumpiness. There are many tourists there so be prepared.
