Lovely day spent touring the west coast
This was a full day tour and had a combination of a 45 minute hike, scenery and a lovely lunch. Our guide Katia was excellent and very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend doing this tour upon arriving to give you an idea of placing you would like see again.

The crew successfully...
The crew successfully found both dolphins and whales. We stayed in both areas long enough to see them multiple times. They were considerate of the needs of those on the tour. The ride back was a bit choppy but that wasn't the fault of the tour operators. We enjoyed it.

A great day from start to finish!
The trip was well planned, and the short drives from point to point made the experience even more enjoyable. Exploring Furnas and Povoaçao village was absolutely breathtaking. The Cozido was delicious, trully unique and prepared in such an extraordinary way! It is worth paying for it. We were grateful to have an excellent guide, Eduardo, who showed us the very best of the island's east side. Thank you, Eduardo, x 1000 !

This was one of the most...
This was one of the most fun things we did in Azores. It was a great way to see a lot of the area. It was nice to get off a few times for photos and to rest a bit. I particularly loved the final stop down by the ocean. 10/10. Book it - you won’t regret it.

The Azores may only look like tiny specks on a globe, but this little archipelago brings a lot to the table—especially for travelers who love the great outdoors. Azores tours include 4WD excursions, canyoning and caving adventures for all skill levels, boat trips to look for whales and dolphins, visits to tea and pineapple plantations, and a chance to see the sparkling blue-green lakes that fill the craters of dormant Azores volcanoes.
