Great way to see Mykonos for the day

This tour was a great way to see Mykonos!! At first I didn’t think we would have enough time to see and do all the things- I was mistaken. The amount of time spent in Mykonos was perfect. We had plenty of time for shopping, eating and even beach time. It’s quite the journey to get there which is stated - plan to return tired - I think our entire group slept on the ferry on the return trip. Georgia (Gogo) was a fantastic guide! She offered suggestions for where to eat and get desert and gelato.

Thought we were lost, but the driver found us.

The driver waited over an hour for us at the Athens airport. After standing in a long line to clear customs, we finally managed to find our way to the luggage carrosel. Saw a lot of drivers holding signs there, but our name wasn't on any of them. Could not find the driver's number, but Viator put us in touch. Driver told us to go throuh the glass door to the Arrivals area. No signage and couldn't see any glass doors. In the distance we saw a man walking back and forth trying to locate a door. The glass was frosted. Couldn't see a door or what was behind the frosted glass panel. Fortunately, another man came along the glass panel opened. We walked through the obscure opening and finally found our driver. He waited for us so long he had to park his vehicle. We had to wait for him to retrieve it, but were grateful he didn't leave without us. We still had a very pleasant ride to the cruise port afterall.

Driver was excellent. Picked us up at port, perfect timing. Introduced himself and took luggage to vehicle. Safely drove us to the airport with plenty of time. Big van in Athens

we had booked a smaller vehicle but when I reiterated that we would bring 2 duffle bags, 2 big suitcases, 4 carryons and 2 walkers, I was advised that a van would be needed - for an additional charge of $40. The driver met us at the pier, having arranged with the police to park in front of the terminal. It was a large van, so large I asked him to use the mike to speak to us while driving. Probably could hold 18 passengers. He was courteous and patient, waiting for us to pass through immigration procedures and collect our luggage. Drove safely. Smaller vehicles are available if you have less luggage - the luggage area at the back of the van was quite full with ours. Good communication with Ancient Greece Tours all the time.

Great service, but Uber Taxi is cheaper in central Athens.

Our driver was great and the ride was as expected. However, we did not know that Uber works with the Taxis in Athens. This did not make sense for us since we were in central Athens and could literally get a Taxi in 1 minute and it would have been cheaper. This is a much better option for someone further away where Taxi service is not readily available or when you have several people and can't fit in a standard Taxi.

Kennedy saves the day

We had an early flight out of Athens Saturday morning. We scheduled a 6:30 pickup time. However our cruise line didn't allow us to disembark until 7:05.We made our way to exit point of terminal and there was our driver, Kennedy holding our name placard with a smile. He calmly reassured us all was well and he could get us to the airport swiftly. He did indeed do just that. He also directed is to where we would find British airways counter. Thank you Kennedy

Reliable company!

VIATOR is the company we know we can count on! I kept trying to reply to the messages but kept getting that it was not delivered. Finally one of our hotel staff called the local company for us and all was resolved! Spoke to the owner of the company and he was very nice and assured me that our driver would be on time!

Private half day tour of Athens

Great tour! We were picked up at the Port of Piraeus after a cruise, with the tour guide waiting with a sign to greet us. We immediately went to see the Acropolis and spent almost two hours there. Our tour guide was very knowledgable and made sure we had lots of breaks in the shade as we climbed the steps and viewed the Parthenon and other buildings. After the Acropolis stop, bottled water was provided back at the van and appreciated after the long walk in the hot weather. We left that area and then stopped for other photo opportunities as we were driven around Athens and then finally dropped off at our hotel.
