Dandrick was so great! He did a lot of the prep work for us - bringing the boats down and back up the hill and accommodating our requests for single/double kayaks. He was very receptive to the group needs and pace and offered a lot of good and interesting information. He also offered to take photos to send to us after the tour. The tour can be considered moderately strenuous but Dandrick does a good job with assessing the capabilities of the group and will make recommendations. Overall, such a cool tour to see the canyon from a different perspective and got a decent workout in!

Seriously Epic Tour!
We highly recommend this trip! From the ease of booking, to the very professional staff & facilities in Page to the trip itself, just top notch all the way. Our river guide was Kelly & not only was she an expert driving the boat, she was so knowledgeable about the river, the area & has a huge passion for the history and lore of the canyon. Her research and obvious admiration of John Powell made him come alive to us as we traveled in his path and saw the canyon & river not only as a beautiful piece of nature, but realized the determination it took from so many to get it to where we can easily float it and see it for ourselves. I’m sure every guide is great, but we really lucked out by getting Kelly, and if you can, request her. We saw wild mustangs, big horn sheep, birds & beaver dams and with Kelly, you got a backstory on it all! She shared her insights from floating on the river daily for 16 years, so we could see it from such a deeper perspective. We loved this about our tour guide. We will definitely rebook with this company, highly recommend, our experience was epic!

Beautiful tour of the canyon from the water! Anthony, our captain was very knowledgeable about the rock formations and really loves what he does. The meeting point was a little tricky to get to due to some construction and Katherine was very specific in her directions, even providing pictures of the parking area so we were assured we were in the right place.

A great trip!
The kayak and hiking are wonderful and in a really unique area. The water level in Lake Powell is shockingly low - like 100' low and to get to the water from the boat ramp itself is a short, but steep, walk. Our guide gave us ample opportunity to explore and told us how the canyon has changed in the past few years.
