The guide, Anna, was so knowledgeable about the historical aspects of Zürich. I don’t think we missed a thing and even enjoyed a snack break with cheese and chocolates. What a beautiful city and fabulous guide!
From the description we felt we would be seeing a cheese shop, and chocolate shop instead we sat under a tree and received mini chocolate bars and a package of prepacked cheese from the grocery store. Extremely disappointed.

Thank you for your feedback. However, we would like to clarify that your review relates to services that were not included in the tour you booked.
You booked our tour, “Zurich 360° City Walk Tour Including Hidden Spots.” The tour description and itinerary clearly list the sights and attractions included in the route, and the guide showed you all of the advertised locations as planned.
The cheese or chocolate shops you mentioned in your review are not part of the tour itinerary. Our tour is also not advertised as a gastronomic or food tour. It is a historical walking tour during which guests are additionally offered snacks. The tour description specifically lists four items — cheese, chocolate, a famous Swiss liqueur, and a special Swiss soft drink — and all four were provided to you.
We are pleased that you had the opportunity to learn about the history of Zurich during the tour. You completed the entire tour, and the guide spent approximately 30 minutes longer with you than the scheduled duration, as she was happy to accommodate your wishes and give you additional time to stop and take more photographs. At the end of the tour, you also left the guide a tip, which we understood as a sign of appreciation for her work. For these reasons, we were particularly surprised by the 1-star rating given to the guide.
Of course, every guest has the right to evaluate their experience as they see fit. However, based on the content of your review, the low rating appears to be primarily related to the expectation of visiting cheese and chocolate shops — services that were neither advertised nor included in the historical tour you purchased.
We respect all feedback, including criticism. At the same time, we believe it is important that a review reflects the actual content of the experience that was booked. Otherwise, future guests may receive an inaccurate impression of both the tour itinerary and the quality of the guide’s work.
Our tour guide Anna was fantastic. Super knowledgeable and entertaining. Got to see several things that only someone with keys to city can access.

Fantastic 3.5 hours with Anna hearing about the history and life in Switzerland. We just learnt so much and she was so interesting. It was a super hot day but she managed our pace well and kept us in the shade. We saw all kinds of things only a local and a guide can show you so I’d recommend booking this tour and being delighted!

Every tour we looked at were either all about Chocolate or Cheese so we were very happy to find this tour with a historical view of the city and country. Then when we met and got to know Anna we were absolutely thrilled. She was AMAZING!
The tour started right away in the train station and over the course of our 3h30m tour we did a lap around the city as she wove together the history of the country and the city with the various sites we were seeing.
From the Romans to the present, 8 different revolutions in culture, science, education, etc. were discussed. We really felt like we were getting a college level course in all things Swiss.
While our feet were sore, we were sad to see Anna off. What a joy to hear her stories of life in this influential city and country! Of, and she surprised us with Cheese, chocolate and more at a perfect timing for a break so you get that too!!!

Anna was excellent. She’s knowledgeable, professional and I have learnt a lot about Zürich throughout the trip. I was the only one in the tour and Anna had not cancelled on me. It’s like a private tour with all the attention needed. I would recommend this tour to anyone in Zurich. I truly enjoyed the time, with good cheese, drinks and chocolates too! There were truly some hidden gems in the tour, try it out!

Anna K took us on a 3.5 hr tour and it was fabulous. She is very knowledgeable about Zurich and provided a great deal of history from the Roman times until now. She also took us into hidden places most tours can’t go, such as the remaining sections of the old city walls. Would highly recommend this tour if you want to know more than just the locations of various points of interest..

My trip to Zürich was unforgettable, thanks to my amazing guide, Anna. Her incredible knowledge of history made every story come alive. Anna shared all the hidden gems and local tips. We also explored the remnants of Roman history underground, and she offered a fascinating glimpse into Zürich's early days. This is an excellent tour. This is hours walking around on steps as well as on cobblestones and regular concrete streets, but there is time in between the steps---they don't come all at once.
We went into basement-type locations to look at old Roman walls, and other interesting points that are unique for only certain, very good tours, that take the time to plan out the best experience. When the guide has to unlock a door to get you to a location, you know not everybody sees it. Tons of tourists upstairs, but we got to see some unique things.

Unbelievable experience especially since my husband and I were the only participants and they didn’t cancel the tour! Our guide Anna was incredibly pleasant and knowledgable and led us through the streets as well as some hidden areas for nearly 4 hours. Fortunately we did stop for a drink and some cheese and chocolates, which gave us the energy to continue. I would highly recommend this tour but be sure to wear your walking shoes, as there are some hills and steps to climb. What a great day spent in a city full of history.

tour guide was excellent. tour was interesting. Only criticism is that description makes it sound like you are going to get tastings from locations along the way on tour as opposed to guide pulling out some cheeae and chocolate from her backpack. Not her fault but should be clearer.

We had a 10 hour layover and this tour was exactly what we were looking for. A chance to get some exercise and see everything that we possibly could in a short amount of time.
