Worse ‘tour guide’ aight seeing trip that only drop you off and on your own for 7-hrs. They did not follow what stated in itinerary. Nowhere is their description talked about 7-hrs to spend on one on our own place. This became a transportation service only. Very bad and misleading when they stated with tour guide’. After my compliant then they talked about side trip that can do on our own. I can just join a tour that include those stops and be much cheaper and better time planning than what they are proposing.

On a positive note we loved our guide. We thought this was you going to be a tour of the areas & a stop in Thun as well. All this was is actually a drop off & pick up and it would have cost us $25 less on the train.

should not expect any service from Swissbus travel (vendor) but just the ride to and from Zurich and Interlaken. The bus driver took us to a parking lot in Interlaken around 10.30 am, tell us to get off and will pick us up at 5 pm. We have no idea as to where to go and how to spend the time. It was raining at the time.

This is simply a small bus ride to Interlaken. Theres no “tour” involved. The workers were nice but not informative at all. They just simply drove us to Interlaken and dropped us off for 7 hours and then drove us back to Zurich.

The whole driving experience to Interlaken was great. I really enjoyed the “free day” aspect as in you get dropped off, spend 6 hours doing what you want and then get picked up. The only reason I can’t give it a 5 stars is on the way back the heater was turned up to max and we requested it be turned down but I don’t think it changed. I wouldn’t judge that on the experience as a whole though

interlaken is a beautiful place.. you can ride a bus to visit other places like iseltwald. the driver is very kind.

This Zurich tour (KTZ361) the itinerary shows INTERLAKEN - 7hours free admission
THORNERSEE -1 hour free admission HOWEHEG - 1 hour free admission. However this TOUR IS ONLY TO INTERLAKEN. (you can take a train to Interlaken and back for much less) This tour is misrepresented!! Not a tour just a drive to Interlaken and back to Zürich. Very disappointing!!!

The description through Viator clearly specifies that this is a self-guided tour to Interlaken, and the itinerary includes 7 hours of free time in Interlaken, along with 1 hour of free time at Thornersee and 1 hour at Howeheg.
The tour is designed as a transportation service to Interlaken, and the other stops are simply brief pauses during the journey.
It seems there may have been a misunderstanding about the nature of the tour. If you were expecting a fully guided experience with structured activities, this was not indicated in the tour details. The description was quite clear, and we regret that the experience did not meet your expectations, but the tour was accurately represented as stated in the itinerary.

It’s unfortunate I couldn’t rate my experience with no stars. Swiss Tours made a mistake and we lost time and did not visit Thunersee like the tour had indicated. When I advised them of the mistake and the inconvenience that we went through, they completely dismissed my concerns and replied with a direct, dismissive and generic response. And I am a loyal customer.

Interlaken is such a beautiful place. My only concern was waiting for the ride back to Zurich it’s 6 to 7 hrs and not that much to do in Interlaken. Driver is nice and friendly. His name is Tony

Hermosa ciudad para recorrer y muy buenas explicaciones de los guías en el trayecto. Quizás con buen tiempo es recomendable el tren que asciende al Top de Europa.
