As a regular traveler, I normally start my journey with a walking tour to get a flavor of the City. This time I combined it with some food too.
This was a great tour. My guide (Tigran) was well informed and had ordered some very delicious traditional dishes for us to try too.
We had an overactive and hyper person in our small group. However, my guide politely and effectively got him to be patient and ho with the flow of the tour. That was pleasant.

Thank you for sharing your experience! 😊 We’re really glad you chose to start your visit with our tour — combining a city introduction with some traditional food is one of our favorite ways to explore too.
It’s great to hear that you enjoyed the tour with Tigran and that the traditional dishes were a highlight. He’ll be very happy to know that his knowledge and food selections made the experience memorable for you. 🍽️
We also appreciate you mentioning how he handled the group dynamics. Guiding different personalities can sometimes be a challenge, and it’s wonderful to hear that he managed the situation politely and kept the tour enjoyable for everyone.
Thanks again for your kind feedback, and we hope you had a fantastic rest of your time in the city! 🌍

A great walking tour of the city. Tigran is very passionate about his city and country's history. If you're short on time in the city, it's a great way to see the sites and learn alot about Armenia's past. The food tasting was delicious aswell!

Ioanna was a charming and well informed guide who made the whole tour delightful. The walking portion of the tour was well paced, and the delicious snacks offered at the included tasting stop were enough for a light lunch.

Ionna, our guide for the tour was able to combine her extensive knowledge with humour on a really enjoyable and informative tour. Yerevan is a great city and I learned to appreciate it even more after this tour. I definitely recommend this if you find yourself visiting the city!

Ioanna was so knowledgable. She led us through places that are well known , but also some that are “off the beaten path”. I highly recommend her

Tigran was wonderful. He shared with us all the history and culture of Armenia with lots of good energy!
Armenians are lovely people I wish they could speak more English maybe!

One of the most history rich tours that I have been to. At the same time, the tour was funny. Our guide Tigran got 5+ stars from me. He was punctual with the timing, shared alot of information about Yerevan history and Armenian history and his sense of humor was amazing. The whole group was amazing and I met really wonderful people there and got amazing friends at the tour ❤️.

Tigran was a great tour guide. Very knowledgeable and easy to understand. 4km of walking wasn't bad either. Food was excellent too!

Our guide was enthusiastic, knowledgeable and flexible. His English was excellent. We enjoyed our walking tour very much.

So...there was a lot to talk about. Tigran is friendly but I feel like the cultural walking tour was showing more hidden parts of armenia(which wasn't very much in this tour) and I just wanted more of a general overview of the different parts of yerevan and how the architecture changed over time.
Also he spoke too low especially in a high traffic region like Yerevan and when I asked him to please speak up he made a rude comment about me being demanding which is normal for an armenian in front of the other tourists. There was also construction happening and he merely walked a few feet away and spoke at the same low volume. Additionally, his english isn't the best, so at times he would crack a joke in english that I believe didnt translate properly from armenian and it can off offensive to the other tourists. He kept cracking these jokes at some french tourists who looked frustrated and were starting to get offended. He also made comments about how armenians dress very nicely and then pointed out the outfits of the tourists saying they would not fly here. I just think his biggest problem was his english, he could have made the whole thing much nicer if his english was better.
And the last thing, he kept taking us into the alleyways which had nothing nice to see, we would just stand there for 10-15mins listening to him speak way too long about something that wasn't relevant and looking at walls.
4hrs tour is too long for this. This could have been 2hrs of the main points of yerevan. We had so many folks who had never been here, they needed a general tour of the area.

Hi Afina,
Thank you for your feedback.
During our walking tour for that day I showed both hidden parts and most famous parts of Yerevan with mentioning in details Yerevan's buildings architecture change both during Soviet time and before 1920 when Armenians used to build stone buildings with wooden balconies I don't know how it happened you were not able to listen or digest information.
My English is usually clear and I speak loud enough with adjusting my voice to traffic noise so everyone able to hear me.
All participants for that day tour were having a great time it could be nice you describe only your own feelings.
Wish you a positive day,
Tigran

I had an amazing time on the Cultural Walking Tour in Yerevan! The guide was incredibly accommodating and knowledgeable. I couldn't make it last Sunday, but he kindly allowed me to join two days later. He shared fascinating facts about Armenian culture, took us to some incredible places, and we even got to taste some delicious local food. Highly recommend this tour! 😃
