I regret that I don’t remember the guides name, but he did an excellent job. This group is very professional and reliable. The guide did a great job providing information to both the English and Russian speakers. There was also an intern guide named Jasmine who was extremely helpful and informative in answering my questions. If she was able to stand up to all of my niche history questions then I think she’d be able to answer anyone’s questions and would make a great guide.

Nice day tour to see some of the most important land marks of Armenia. Because it being a off season the tour was bilingual. The guide Tigran handled it very well. He was a great tour guide overall. Driver Araik was also one of the safest drivers in Armenia I had during my visit which was great. Lavash baking is in a family run restaurant where you also have lunch together (paid by you) so suggest you order one of the options in the bus as there are no other lunch options close by. Lunch was nice family style served so recommend it. Sadly when I was on the tour there was clouds and fog so we didn’t get to see the Arat and the mountains well.

As and introvert I was afraid at first how do I survive a tour with a group of 50, but it was very nicely organized. The group divided into smaller groups by language and on every sight we had some time with the guide and some time to wander around on our own. Our guide Marina communicated very well and gave us clear instructions, in order to have this big group to be on the schedule and getting the best of this trip. The sights were amazing and I got to know Armenia a lot better thanks to our guide.

It was an excellent trip to the Lori region with our guide Tigran and our driver Garic. We visited the Lori Fortress, St. Nicholas the Wonderworker Church, the Odzun Church and the Sanahin Monastery.
