We had 8.30 pick up and got in the van and had to wait 30 minutes, as people from the same resort had a 9 am pick up then another van was held up in traffic so we picked up other guests and dropped them to where they needed to be then we drove to our destination and given swim time of 1.5 hours which didn’t seem long enough given we had been in the van for 1.5 hours then we stopped for lunch and got the worst steak sandwich ever

Driver should be more proactive and inclusive with clients and informed about the areas when asked about certain issues and not use the line they are old

We thoroughly enjoyed the Blue Lagoon and Eden. Stunning location and fun to swim, swing on ropes etc. We weren’t so fussed with duty-free shopping, but were able to walk back to our cruise ship from there. One of our party loved the shopping and bought well priced Nikes.
Communication was a bit lacking - the driver said very little, didn’t tell us how long we were spending at each stop, and was vague on times. Also, he drove at exceptionally high speed to the Lagoon, despite pedestrians and dogs on the roadside. We did not feel safe. This is potentially reflective of the different safety standards between countries. He slowed for the way back and that did feel safe. The driver was personable and likeable, despite the aforementioned concerns.
It was easy enough to find the tour and they were organised and expecting us. Would recommend

Our day tour to Blue Lagoon and Eden River during our port day was the highlight of our cruise!
The stunning salt water lagoon was a standout. Kids and adults alike all had so much fun leaping and swinging into the water!!
Then we moved on to Eden River to wash away the seasalt and explore the small, fresh water rock pools and waterfalls.
Vincent was a great guide sharing many interesting facts about Vanuatu's history and culture.
Julian drove us safely to our destinations and back in time for a spot of market shopping before heading back to the ship.

Two top locations. Eden on the River and The Blue Lagoon. Nice little cafe at Eden to grab a drink , coffee or toastie

Great tour, Karl our driver was really friendly and informative, very professional. Had a great swim at both blue lagoon & Eden River. Interesting driving thru country side. Confirmation said pick up at Iririki azure but we actually needed to be over at wharf at Port Villa - maybe should clarify this as we only found out by asking employee on Iririki.
Otherwise everything ran really smoothly. Definitely recommend Yumi tours.

Arrived at 8:15am for 8:30 departure and the bus didn’t leave until 10am. We waited on a bus and wasted our time when we only have limited time at port villa.

Hello Angela, unfortunately this is a shared trip and we have limited vehicles and drivers. The tender process can be a bit tricky and we regret that you had to deal with that today. We appreciate your review as it'll help us improve our future tours.
It's a three hour, nice tour to two very much different places in Efate island. Ask guidance how to move around the Eden by the river. There's more to see than just swimming.

Our first trip to blue lagoon was met with rain and this half day tour made up for it, plus the added bonus of the Eden waterfall. Nice taste of both sites but 1 hour may not be long enough for some.

So lovely! The waters of the blue lagoon were just beautiful, and our tour guide Vincent gave us an insider on the real lagoon! Heaps of high jumping spots, ropes and a big area to swim. We came during a low period so not too many people around which was lovely, gave us good picture opportunities. Bring your goggles and floaties because it’s deep and there are actually quite a lot of exotic fish. Again a big tangkyu to the cheeky Vincent and Louis who kept us safe and well informed on our trip!

We started off at the blue lagoon which was gorgeous. The tour guide was great and helpful. We then took off to the eden by the river which was also gorgeous. The only thing I’ll say is you don’t get much time there. That was disappointing. We didn’t even get a full hour . We got there and was told we only had half hour there. It literally takes 15 minutes to walk down get changed jump in check everything out then straight back out. If you want to actually enjoy eden on the river i suggest to go by yourself and not a tour. Other than that both places were amazing

We enjoyed the tour and the site and the tour guide was good however this was not a half day tour for us. we left the port at about 9am and by the time we got back to port it was 6 hours later and spent most of the time in the mini van driving and dropping others off at there full day tours. We then missed out on walking through the markets as we were exhausted.
Might have been better if they just put all the full day people together and the half day people on one bus.

Eden on the River was beautiful, Blue Lagoon just as beautiful but very busy, but you can see why. Would book with Yumi again, easy and the communication was great.

My wife and I were lucky enough to do this on a day where we were the only two people on the tour, so it was like a VIP private charter. Julien our tour guide was great, very friendly and shared lots of knowledge about the areas we drove through and Vanuatu life in general which added to the experience.
The Eden cascades were amazing, and one of my favourite activities in all my time in Vanuatu. My wife loved it too but she even preferred the Blue Lagoon which was good fun and provided great swimming and activities.
All in all, we were very happy we did this tour and saw a couple of these Vanuatu highlights. We lucked out with it being a quiet (non cruise ship) day. Julien added to the experience for us and he comes highly recommended. Everything was very smooth and definitely was one of our favourite days of the trip
