must do experience

Maria_H, Apr 2026
I am deathly afraid of heights so I was a little hesitant to do this. So glad I did. It is a little bit wobbly, but I did find that because I got there super early (took 9am shuttle), It was only super wobbly on the way back because more people had showed up. The treetop suspension bridges and the cliff walk were also amazing.

Venue brilliant

Steve_I, Apr 2026
Very disappointed if you go on the trip ensure to check you pick up location as it changes without notification as the shuttle service does not update its website leaving you stranded a needing to get a taxi to the venue. But the trip itself was great.

This is a must during your time here in Vancouver!

This was an amazing experience my daughter and I enjoyed this tremendously. The open views, the smell of the forest and the feeling of feeling safe thrill while doing the cliff walk or going across the suspension bridge, was an amazing adrenaline rush. Thank you again for having the activities for the kids. My daughter enjoyed the Easter egg hunt, and the activity throughout the park. She loved that her prize was seeds for her garden. Just made it that more perfect. Plus the hot chocolate was amazing!!! Definitely check out the cliff walk restaurant. The meal was 10 out of 10 for me and the specialty Easter dessert really really was amazing.

A morning on the bridge

richard_l, Apr 2026
We had a great family visit to Capilano. We were there before 10am which meant we pretty much had the run of the place so I’d advise people to get there early. Crossing the suspension bridge was dramatic (a bit of swinging which was to be expected), tree top walks were goo as was the cliff side walk. With no crowds and at a nice leisurely pace we were about 90 mins here. Well worth a visit if your in Vancouver on vacation.

Must see in Vancouver

Jaylyn_P, Apr 2026
Amazing! It was great to see the nature of BC and how huge these trees are. The bridge was really cool!

Magical Place

Maria_E, Apr 2026
Beautiful activity. It was such a peaceful, magical place. Nature at its best. Must see, specially with kids.

Exciting fun adventure

Very high walking and exhilarating activity. Easy to get to from downtown Vancouver on a free shuttle. We enjoyed the scenic area of nature

Great activity in summer and winter

Nuria_V, Mar 2026
I did visit the suspension bridge during the day and night. When you visit the bridge during the winter, I would highly recommend you go at night. Everything is lit by thousands of Christmas lights. So pretty! It is a pity that you can't purchase a combined ticket (day and night) to visit the bridge twice on one day.

Beautiful nature

Anko_v, Feb 2026
Really pretty views and beautiful nature. However it became very crowded very quickly. So our advise would be to go.early in the morning.

Beautiful

Jacqueline_P, Feb 2026
Amazing and worth every minute! The lights were beautiful for Valentine’s Day. The treetop bridges were so fun!

Scared of heights, but loved it!

John_K, Feb 2026
Absolutely beautiful place. I'm uneasy with heights, so the suspension bridge was ... a challenge. But, I made it and am glad I did. Across the bridge are amazing elevated walkways built on the trees (think something like the Ewok village in Return of the Jedi). Super duper cool.

Excellent experience

Valerie_B, Feb 2026
It was a great adventure! They do a wonderful job with the various park features. The staff are very friendly. We were the only people on the nature walk. Our guide was so knowledgeable and we learned a lot from her. I took us close to 3 hours to experience everything. You felt you were in a tropical rain forest. We went during the “love is in the air “. The whole park and the suspension bridge were lit with lights in valentine colours. Great in the day but I bet at night they would have been spectacular. It was cold and rainy so we were pleasantly surprised to find a snack shop with a covered place to sit with outdoor heaters and enjoy a hot chocolate. Free shuttle from Vancouver made it a great option as we did not have a car. We got dropped off at a different location so we were able to do another activity right after.

The admission ticket that we paid for was during the Canyon Lights, and it was well worth the money spent!

Fantastic Experience

Ben_W, Jan 2026
Absolutely fantastic experience. The suspension bridge was very cool but then all the extra effort they have done designing and constructing all the tree and cliff walks makes this a 10/10 experience.

Great Experience, even in the rain!

Chadina_M, Jan 2026
We went in November and they had beautiful Holiday lights up. We were nervous at first because it was raining, but it was such a magical experience, and not too crowded due to the weather. Would recommend to anyone visiting Vancouver, rain or shine!

Convenience

Oliver_K, Dec 2025
Very convenient with the pickup and drop off at the bridge parking at pickup wasn’t the cheapest but easy. After the bridge experience we rode back with the shuttle and went to the pacific mall.

Awesome holiday time activity

Matthew_S, Dec 2025
Always a magical place to visit! The lights and music and setting are a great place to enjoy your loved ones for the holidays.

Amazing

Julie_O, Dec 2025
Don’t miss the canyon lights absolutely beautiful! Lots of walking so wear good shoes and take gloves if you go at night

Magical experience

Wendy_M, Dec 2025
It’s a truly magical experience, you can’t miss it! The Christmas lights make the experience even more magical!

Suspension Bridges

Jacqueline_R, Dec 2025
The suspension bridges at Capilano were super cool. The surrounding forest of trees were all decorated with lights. It was magical being up in the forest of trees. We really enjoyed it.

Amazing experience

Mary_S, Nov 2025
Bucket list place. If you are in Vancouver even for a short trip definitely visit this place. Apart from the suspension bridge which is incredible , the rainforest has a lot to offer. Make sure to lose yourselves in the magic of nature and lights and listen her music while bald eagles dancing above your heads. The canyon lights enhance the experience and the restaurant offers tastes you won’t forget. Bonus, the free shuttle from downtown departs every half an hour.

Capilano tour

David_S, Nov 2025
We arrived at the pickup point well ahead of the designated time. We waited for nearly 30 minutes and bus never came. Ended up taking an Uber back and forth to Capilano suspension bridge park. Apparently the bus filled up at the first stop and skipped our stop altogether... but no one ever reached out to tell us about this. Only found out about it 1 1/2 hours later after making inquiries myself. Fortunately the tickets in the app worked for our entrance fee. Would not recommend this tour. Just take and Uber by yourself and buy the tickets at the gate and save yourself the hassle.

Should be top of any sightseer’s list!

Christine_D, Nov 2025
This was a fantastic attraction. Very good value for money with free pick ups from various points and more than three attractions all rolled into one entry fee. Walking over the bridge itself was stunning with fabulous views into the gorge below. The treetop walk was excellent fun and not overly strenuous. The cliff walk was also breathtaking with beautiful views of the bridge and gorge. There were other shorter walks to complete including a nature trail and everything was especially beautiful with the Christmas lights. I would do this every time I come to Vancouver.

Gorgeous Experience

DEBORAH_T, Nov 2025
It was absolutely beautiful and lots of fun! Even in the rain it was a great adventure for my friend and I! I would highly recommend this experience!!

Canyon Fright at Capilano - don't miss it!

Noy_B, Nov 2025
Canyon Fright is a must do if you're visiting! Beautiful landscape and decorated with impeccable care. We went Halloween afternoon and it was the perfect fall day- wet, lots of yellow leaves, thick fog over the water. It made for a perfect experience!

Good but I wouldn’t do it again

Becky_B, Oct 2025
The park far from exceeded our expectations! We knew we would walk across the suspension bridge but did not know about the vast number of beautifully constructed paths throughout the forest. We would highly recommend this stunning park.
