Nice and lovely garden to visit if you want a rest from the chaos in Downtown, specifically Canada Place and dont want to go all the way to Buchard in Victoria. Nice place to visit and then stopped on the way back to Grenville Island for some chaos again.

Absolutely breathtaking! The VanDusen Gardens are a treasure and should not be missed! Every part of the garden is a treat for the senses. After a leisurely stroll through the gardens, we had a fun time trying to find our way through the maze, and then, a lovely lunch in the cafe.

We took a bus from Downtown to Van Dusen. The bus left us about 20 minutes away, but we enjoyed the walk through the beautiful neighborhood. The beautiful gardens are maintained by a large cast of staff and volunteers. A staff member recommended a different bus for our return. The bus stop was just outside the entrance, and the bus dropped us off in front of our hotel. An inexpensive, enjoyable half-day activity.

Rock solid tour. This is a must when visiting Vancouver.
It is such a hidden gem and definitely will be a highlight of any trip to Canada.

It’s a beautiful botanical garden. The maze was lovely. Will come again to this peaceful tranquil place

Gorgeous blooms throughout. Calming walk. Interesting teaching garden. Fun maze. Don’t miss the various sculptures; of note: big owl, totem poles, and sitting fisherman.

This is truly a magical experience. Beautiful in nature. Move through at your own pace. Food and Beverage available

We felt it was limited access for using a wheelchair and the Signage overall was poor. What we did see was nice.

The gardens were beautiful and one of the best I've been too. Very well manicured and identified. The maze was fun although I'm not sure we made it to the middle. Some sort of sign in the middle would be nice to have, but fun none the less. Map was helpful in guiding us through the gardens to ensure we had seen all there was to see.

The VanDusen botanical gardens is wonderful. Make sure to grab the map to make sure your not missing any of the flowers/trees, otherwise you can get lost co-ordinating the area. We went on a rainy day, but luckily the flowers were still in bloom and not falling to the ground.

There was a false information in your Website for one day ticket for VanDusen garden. You didn’t mention that was just from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. We got there around 5:00 pm. They didn’t let us in. We as a seniors had to lineup longtime for buying another tickets. Now, you are not refunding our tickets.

Hi there. Our hours of operation are listed on the ticketing page, as well as on our website and Google Maps. Our hours change throughout the year, and we are open from 10am to 2pm in the winter months. It looks like your ticket was refunded when you had submitted the request, but please feel free to send us a message if this isn't the case!

The fall trees were so beautiful and you can see squirrels running around. Whether you’re a plant enthusiast or simply looking for a peaceful escape, this garden is a must-visit. I left feeling refreshed and inspired—already looking forward to my next visit!

Went during fall so not many flowers but it's big and nice walk.
We were very disappointed that our viator rewards were not utilised, which should be automatically deducted at checkout. Checked with support team and was told the booking currency was different from our viator awards. Requested for rectification for such technical issues but was told they were unable to amend as booking was done less than 24 hours.

Beautiful park. We didn’t know it cost an entry fee until we got there so we were happy to find it on Viator. The park is fairly large. Lots of green space. We came in September so there weren’t a ton of flowers. It’s a very serene and calming atmosphere. Loved all the ponds and water falls. The issue we had was that the only washroom is in the visitor center at the entrance. So if you get to the other side of the park and have to use the restroom, you have to get all the way back to the beginning again and exit then ask to go back in. There should be at least one more bathroom at the other end of the park.

Beautiful gardens with many different themes. Allow at least 2 hours and will probably not get to all of it.

Nice place to walk around and see some old trees and different plants!
Was quite busy with weddings as they have multiple venues. This did not cause any problems

We thoroughly enjoyed the VanDusen Botancial Garden in Mid-August. It was close to downtown Vancouver, BC. Our self guided tour was good, plus there were experts walking around the garden that could answer our few questions. Great value. Great Experience. Mid-August had the hydrangeas and other flowers in full blume. But, the July flowers were past there peak. Someday we will revisit in the month of July.

The QR code was is a clear picture image, but not working-the young lady on cash tried a few times to scan it without success; I wound up paying her for two adults and two seniors one more time. I would like a refund on my four Viator tickets; I have already formally asked for a refund and am looking forward to a reply from customer service.

It was an amazing experience seen a lot of beautiful and unique flowers and plants great areas to sit and enjoy time with others
Neil_D, Aug 2024
Beautiful place, but my mother in law has knee issues, and there weren't enough carts operating to take her to the far end of the gardens, so it cut our visit short

We enjoyed the gardens. It was much larger than I was expecting. We were planning to eat in the restaurant, but it was closed due to wedding. No washrooms except in the visitor center
