I completed a silver making course today , in Ubud, with a lovely young Balinese husband and wife team, Kedak and Komang. It was truly one of the highlights of my time here. Nestled in a peaceful studio surrounded by lush greenery, the class was both a creative and learning experience.
From the moment I arrived, the instructors were welcoming, patient, and incredibly skilled. They guided us through each stepâmelting and shaping the silver, sawing, soldering, and polishingâwith a perfect balance of hands-on support and artistic freedom. Whether youâre a complete beginner or have some experience, the course is tailored to help you create something beautiful and personal.
I chose to make a ring, and watching it take shape from raw silver into a finished piece was deeply satisfying. All the tools were provided and support was always on hand. The atmosphere was relaxed yet focused. Plus, the small group size( only two of us) allowed for a lot of one to one support.
I left not only with a unique piece of jewelry but also with a deeper appreciation for the artistry and care that goes into handmade work. If you're looking for a memorable, hands-on activity in Bali that blends creativity and a touch of sparkleâthis course is a must.

Lovely family business. You can book direct for 450k. You get 6 grams which is less than some other ones at 7grams. But if you are just doing for the experience this is very worthwhile and you get a taste. More complicated designs require more help from them.

This jewellery making class was a real highlight of our trip. The lovely husband and wife team welcomed us into their home with such warmth and generosity, offering complimentary Balinese snacks and water as we settled in.
They were clearly very skilled and passionate about their craft, and patiently guided us through every step of the ring making process, from shaping and soldering to polishing and engraving. Even when I made a few mistakes along the way, the husband kindly helped correct them without hesitation, putting in his time and care to make sure the final piece came out beautifully.
We left with two gorgeous, personalised rings (engraved inside too!), and memories weâll always treasure. We canât recommend this experience enough, it felt authentic, peaceful, and full of heart. Weâd absolutely love to do it again next time weâre in Bali.

early morning ring making was lots of fun, there was a good balance of teaching us how to make rings and assistance so the ring came out good.

This is my first jewelry class experience, and it was amazing. The husband and wife that runs the business are so nice and welcoming. The husband has over ten years of experience. I designed my own ring, he walked me through each step and help me turn my design into a piece that I love so so much! I would definitely do this again the next time Iâm in Bali!

I had a wonderful time making my new silver ring. what a great way to learn something new, have a memorable experience and then relive the experience every time I look at my ring! I got lost at they were extremely accommodating and kind despite being half hour late!! I had a design in mind, with inspiration pictures on my phone, and the end result is better than I expected! Overall great way to spend the morning and do something you would try at home!

This was an absolutely wonderful experience and I cannot recommend it enough. The family that runs this class is so kind and they really took their time to make sure that we had a great finished product. This was hands down one of my favorite experiences in Bali. There are a lot of places where you can make silver jewelry in Ubud but I really appreciated being able to get out of Ubud for a little bit and the class is located across from the rice terraces. Youâre supporting a lovely family when you do this class and you get a unique souvenir.

One of the best things we did whilst in Bali! This class was fantastic. The whole family were so welcoming, patient and friendly. They were delighted to show us their craft and taught us how to carry out each step. From the 6g of silver both of us were able to make 2 small rings which are a perfect memory of our trip to Bali! I couldnât recommend this class more highly, and would say it represents better value than some of the classes in the centre of Ubud. We took a 20 min Grab to the shop, which is just a few minutes from Creyta/the rice terraces.

The jewelry making class was outstanding. The couple that run the class are great to work with and so helpful. The rings we made look like they came out of a high end jewelry shop. I couldnât recommend them any more strongly. Go to this class! As a side note; the class is right across the street from the Rice Terraces. So after the clas, we were able to walk there.

I rarely put comments but this one deserves it a lot. They opened 8 moths ago after 10 years experience as employees and their child birth so don't follow the lack of comments compared to other companies, here's the hidden gem.
You will find adorable people, family atmosphere and they will allow you to do unthinkable stuff in a really short time slot (1H30). All the process is well explained and you'll be able to participate a lot. You'll also enjoy being in a small group of 6 people (only us that time).
We finished our class with a ring and a paperplane pendant per person which are awesome, at least for us because having seen other products they make by themselves we are far far away from their level.

Husband & wife team welcomed me with water and snacks. I had a picture of a contemporary ring I wanted to create and they helped me create it beautifully. I also had a couple of rings, one to make smaller and another to make larger which they did for me while I was there. Thank you so much for your kindness 𼰠I had a wonderful time.
