This jewellery making class is something you need to do whilst staying in Ubud! The teacher was very informative (make it look a lot easier than it was) and showed us each step. Myself and my partner both decided on rings where you add your own design, we were able to practise these before putting onto the final product. We are so glad we did as each marking on the ring is personal and made by us. It was great to learn and do the process from start to finish.

Ubud silver jewellery class

Another fantastic Ubud activities experience. We added this onto the back of our traditional Taro village visit. Upon arriving at the home where we took part in this activity we were welcomed which indoor shoes to wear for the experience as well as a choice of tea, coffee or water and given traditional rice snacks. We were able to look at examples prices of jewellery ranging from an assortment of rings and necklace pendants to bangles and earrings, this really helped us to choice the sort of style we wanted. I chose to do a thin band ring with a gem stone (gem stones are extra IDR depending on chosen stone, mine was an additional 350,000 IDR) and my partner chose to do a simple wide band ring with engraving (came to over 5gram allowance and each additional gram is charged at 50,000 IDR). The guide spent one on one time with us both (we were the only ones partaking in experience) showing each of us the steps and us repeating them for our items of jewellery. We undertook the whole process from melting the silver to washing and polishing. The only improvement would be if we were offered boxes to keep these safe in especially with travelling however we were content to wear these when we left so was not a concern.

Amazing experience with Bima, Komang and Diah. There were examples of jewelry on site so we were able to pick in as an example. Teachers were patient and kind. Venue was clean and open and the breeze was fabulous. Highly recommended.

Very unique and fun activity for everyone

This was such an amazing and unique experience. The hosts invited us to their own home and were so warm and welcoming. They were also so patient with us selecting our designs, explaining the process and teaching us how to do each step. The hosts were genuinely some of the kindest people on our trip. We also had a great time chatting to the other visitors. Highly recommend this activity! It was a little difficult to get to so we recommend a driver (there weren’t many taxi or Rideshare options).

Une super expérience qui vaut vraiment le coup !! Les 5g suffise amplement si vous en utilisez moins vous pouvez même en faire une deuxième et ajouter un peu d’argent pour compléter pour donner une idée je le suis fais une chevalière qui était 1,5g d’argent supplémentaire, et ma copine a pu se faire 2 bagues en argent avec perle pour 34€ de plus 👌
