We enjoyed this tour immensely! Millisoula has so much to say about the diverse architecture of this city and various neighborhoods, and about old customs that influence the old and new architecture. She has a friendly manner and was easy to hear and understand. This tour definitely complements the typical history tour.

Melissoula was a wonderful and warm host for her City. She knew the history of the area, gave us insider tips and made the tour feel intimate and personalized. Even before the tour (when I booked weeks prior!) she sent a guide of many places and activities within the City and then followed up after the tour with a map highlighting everything we saw.
She made it extra personalized by showing us the building where she lived! (It felt very secretive and fun to go below the city streets).
Not a typical see all the churches, see all the monuments type of tour- highly recommend taking a stroll through Torino with Melissoula.

Great tour guide but didn’t find out about Turin’s main building or statues mostly about quaint buildings and designs

I'm happy that in the tour you choose (called "UNUSUAL and hidden Turin for curious people", focused on quaint buildings/areas and peculiar design), you actually found lots of them, as advertised. The tour description clearly says that we won't visit the highlights of the city because my goal is giving a local flavour of the city and places/stories that you can't find on your own, that's why you couldn't find the main baroque buildings or statues you were looking for. In order to find them, it's better to choose an ordinary tour on the other touristy district of the city and on the usual beaten paths.
More I wrote in the tour description to contact me before booking, in order to find the perfect tour/itinerary for anyone and plus in my welcome message I always ask about tourists' needs, preferences, interests, etc. but you decided to book without contacting me previously and to ignore my request to let me know your preferences.

We have been to Italy on eight separate trips. We have taken tours of the Vatican, Uffizi, other commonly visited sites, and many walking tours of less often visited places. Many of these tours were good or even great, but this was by far the best tour of Italy we have ever had. Melissoula is highly intelligent, accommodating, and was able to answer our far fetched questions from every angle with ease, humor and clear interesting explanations. Extraordinary!

We were the only two people on the tour. Melissa easily adapted to our wishes. She brought ancient and modern Turin to life through her stories and her deep knowledge. The tour was a pleasure - we can't wait to come back and learn even more. At the end, we met her cats and she gave us a sample of some wonderful cookies. A great, fun, and informative tour.

We were shown parts of the city that we would have missed otherwise. We learned a lot about the hidden beauties of Torino. Melissa explained all the facts in a very entertaining fashion. The tour was held in English but it was easy to follow her explanations. We had a lot of fun and at the end we even got a little gift with some Torino sweets.
We can yeti mich recommend the tour, you will love it, and Melissa showed in all she did how much she loves her city😉

We had a great tour with our guide Melissoula. She gave us professional information about Turino and showed us some hidden places of the city. We also could feel her love to the city. She also gave us recommodations of restaurants and places to visit which was a great help for our trip in Turino. I totally recommend doing a guided tour with her!

Despite the uncooperative weather, we had a very good walking introduction to the major sights of the city of Turin, giving us a great basis for later exploration on our own. The most interesting parts of the tour were the lesser known, but very interesting places that Marzia, our guide, shared with us, such as the turn-of-the-century cafes, the French section with its underground ice storage caverns, and the French cannon balls lodged into the walls from 1706. The aperitivo time was a lively and fun ending. And Marzia our guide was super!

Ein Stadtrundgang, der von der Römerzeit bis in die Gegenwart reicht - voller Überraschungen! Die Reiseleiterin Melissoula zeigt anschaulich und kompetent, wie unglaublich reichhaltig dieser Teil Turins ist. Alles hat bestens geklappt. Diese Tour darf in einem Turin-Trip nicht fehlen - selbst für Turin-Kenner.
