Touring the Slovenian Coast

We had a wonderful day in Slovenia with Maurizio as our guide. he took us on an interesting walking tour of Koper and then we headed to the Slovenian coast. We took scenic back roads which made the experience so interesting. Once we got into Puran, we were able to climb the steps to the church and walk around the small scenic coastal town. Mauricio suggested a wonderful place to have lunch he is a very enthusiastic and charming guide.

Wonderful Tour of the Area

What a great day with a good overview of the area. Each town is small so having a guide/driver with a good knowledge of the region and history was awesome. Our guide Andrej was wonderful. We arrived on a cruise ship and the company was great about communication. Andrej was accommodating to our interests and adjusted the tour to suit us. The van was comfortable with AC.

We thoroughly enjoyed seeing the seaside villages with Peter’s attentive dialogue and comfortable van. He spoke English beautifully and picked us up and dropped us off right at our hotel. His historical perspective on Slovenia was particularly interesting and he suggested an excellent restaurant for lunch.
