Great experience. Our guide spent most of the day with us. We also had a private driver. I would not recommend going around Tarifa without a guide. The town is quite busy and spread out for the various things you want to see. We felt very taken care of and got to see a lot of things throughout the city due to our guide knowing the city and its people. You will be in good hands with this booking.

Hamid is the BEST!

This review is long overdue from June 2024. My husband and I did this private tour with Hamid and we 1000% recommend. We took a boat from Tarifa, Spain to Tangier (took about 1hr - not bad at all) and Hamid picked us up once we disembarked from the boat. He took us to all of the major touristy spots and hidden gems. Took us to delicious places to eat and purchase souvenirs to take back home. Once we finished the tour, Hamid took us back to the port of entry - sad to see him leave because we really really like him! He has friends EVERYWHERE. Made us feel like celebs walking around introducing us to people. Hamid is VERY knowledgeable as he was born and raised in Tangier. He recommended things for us to do if we ever came back to visit Morocco. Tangier was such a beautiful place - we will definitely be back! Thank you Hamid for an unforgettable day in Tangier!

Amazing intimate tour of Tangier!

Bilal brought the Tangier area to life for us. He was the most personable guide we have ever had. We spent the whole day with him going from the port to the rich area, by the palaces, to the beach with camels, to the Medina where we strolled through the old town. We never felt rushed or on a clock. We wanted lunch, so he called a friend who opened the intimate restaurant just for us, for a wonderful pre fixe meal! We of course wanted a carpet and some zellij tile and he hooked us up. As we traveled through, he always came up with the movie references too! What was cool about this tour was that there was a driver AND a guide. The driver would drop us off at each segment with Bilal and pick us up when we were done wandering. Bilal is a rare and insightful person and if you have an opportunity to see Tangier with him, jump at the chance!

We had a wonderful tour with Hamid. He was very knowledgeable about the area and history, but also a pleasure to be around. A storm was going to hit the port towards the end of our day in Tangier and Hamid knew that ferries were getting cancelled before it was even posted online. He helped us avoid potentially being stuck overnight and then emailed me to check in to make sure we had made it back safely. Look no further than Hamid!

A special thanks to our guide Rachid. Of all theViator tours we have been on, this one ranks at the top. Upon our arrival at the port, Rachid was there waiting for us and we were off for a fun filled 8-hour day. Bring your walking shoes because you'll be walking, seeing and experiencing all the different parts of Tangier by either car or on foot. This was a wonderful tour and I would highly recommend it.

This was a fantastic tour with Hamid our guide. While he joked he was 6 stars rating, he really did make us feel safe and welcome. The camel ride on the beach was a blast, we enjoyed seeing the Hercules cave, and he took us to a local restaurant which he even took the extra step to have a birthday cake prepared for my friend who was celebrating that day. We enjoyed meandering through the old city as well as seeing some of the locations where movies were shot in Tangier. It was raining on and off the day we went but it didn't stop us from having an amazing time. This tour is a great way to see what the city has to offer and perfect if you are limited on time in Tangier.
