Excellent pickup and driving service to Chefchaouen. Abdul picked us up right on time - the van was excellent - clean, air conditioned and comfortable. We made a stop at the halfway point for a cold drink and lovely view and then made our way to the Blue City. Once there, we were handed over to a local guide. He was very kind. English was ok - but it was hard to follow him at times. We walked for several hours and enjoyed the environment overall. I am glad that we took the day to see the Blue City. I was however surprised that many of the streets that we walked were filled with vendors selling souvenirs - so appreciated when we could slip around d them and just walk on more quiet alleyways amongst the locals.
The city in our opinion is a def must see. Chefchaouen is beautiful. Our driver picked us up right at our hotel in Tanger. Great driver and nice clean air conditioned van. Our guide was 84 years young and well known in Chefchaouen. He should us around and gave us some of the history and had a great sense of humor. We def chose the right tour!
I had a great visit. My driver, Nordeen took me in an 8 passenger van to visit the blue city of Chefchaouen. I arrived in Tangier by cruise ship and wanted to make sure that I got back early to make my ship. I got back with 2 hours to spare. I didn't want to be stressed about getting back late. My guide was an 84 year old named Abdul Salem. He walked with a cane but was very fit. At times, I felt I needed extra stops just to drink my water. He was amazing! He took me to an overlook view point and made sure that I saw a lot of interesting streets and doors. This is what I was interested in to photograph. I was so happy with my whole experience. I'd definitely recommend it to others.
A day trip to Chefchaouem - the beautiful blue city.... One NOT to miss! Great conversation with Abdul (driver) . Thanks for the restaurant recommendations. He got us to/from safely .
Abdeslam was exceptional. Knows the city and also everyone knows him.. might add in great shape@84!! Fun day of sharing and laughter. Vendors were not aggressive.

Moroccan adventure to the blue village, complete with the best local guide, Badro. He went above and beyond for us, he took the time to explain history, culture, and Moroccan life. Badro did not disappoint, neither did the village.

We took a train from Marrakech to tangiers and was met by our driver who drove us to Chefchouen. He was very nice and stopped at a nice spot for coffee.Our guide was a 84 yr old English speaking guide. This was a truly unbelievable and once in a lifetime experience. It’s a must if you visit Morocco even for 5 days like we did and were pressed for time. Were able to be back in a day.
The trip was wonderful! The driver of our car was very professional. The young man who accompanied us gave us so much information. He taught us about the the geography, history, and culture of the region. He was also very entertaining in his interactions with us. The gentleman who guided us through the city was 84 and much more adept at walking up and down the moutainside and steps than we were. He was informative and entertaining. He was also very protective and protected us from rushing to keep us safe. My husband and I enjoyed every minute of this tour! We would highly recommend this experience!
the tour are really nice..from the pickup and going back to the meeting point..also the local guide at the Chefchaouen really nice and full of knowledge..always healthy and takecare , until we meet again
We had a once-in-a-lifetime experience exploring the streets and medina of Chefchaouen. Our driver, Abdul Latif, offered interesting info about Tangier and Morocco as we left the city and made the long drive, with a rest stop at a scenic lake. He drove us to a high point in Chefchaouen where we we met our sprightly city guide, Abdesalem, with energy to spare despite his eighty-four years. He guided us downhill throughout beautiful neighborhoods and paused at every photogenic spot showcasing the emblematic blue walls. Highly recommended.
Fantastic tour! Perfect trip from pickup to drop off in Tangier. The driver and the guide were personable and informative. The blue city was amazing. Great shops and restaurants. The freshly squeezed pomegranate juice was delicious! Highly recommend.
It is strenuous and exhausting. We wanted to shop a bit more but our guide wanted to carry on. He was wonderful though. The best place I’ve wanted and seen real Moroccan crafts. you

What stood out most was his warmth and hospitality. He treated us not just as tourists, but as friends visiting his hometown. He was flexible with our schedule, made great recommendations, and even helped us navigate the markets with ease. The food stops he suggested were authentic and delicious—some of the best meals of our trip.
If you’re visiting Tangier, I cannot recommend him enough. He turned what could have been a simple tour into a truly memorable experience. Tangier felt alive, welcoming, and unforgettable because of him.

Our driver was great and our guide in Chefchaouen was over 80 years old but kept up with us. He was dressed in traditional attire and walked with a cane (where we wanted him to photobomb our pictures). He was able to steer us away from the other large tourist groups and knew many great spots for pictures (with us being there without anyone else). He seemed well respected by the community and was able to keep hagglers (if there even was any) away from us. He only gave us basic information but everything else was amazing.
This was a great tour. The city itself is cool with the iconic blue buildings and brilliant mountains. This is an opportunity to see something unique and different. The driver and guide made sure to customize the trip, skipping a stop we didn’t want and ensuring to take us to authentic shops.. The owner even checked in on us during the tour!
This is a great day trip. The drive from Tangier gives you a wonderful glimpse of the countryside. Chefchaouen is an interesting place with lots of opportunities for beautiful pictures and views.
Our day trip to Chefchaouen was amazing! The drive to and from was very comfortable, and our driver Abdul made scenic stops along the way. He was super thoughtful in making sure we saw everything we wanted to prior to leaving. Our local tour guide was 83 years old and so kind, knowledgeable, and funny. Driver picked us up right in time from our hotel (though I didn’t receive any WhatsApp messages to confirm the evening before, just emails from Viator), it’s about a 2 hour transit to Chefchaouen from Tangier and we made one stop at a restaurant overlooking a beautiful lake (restroom break, too).
Our guide, Abdul, was a 83 year old local! Don’t let his age fool you, he moves at a fairly quick pace so if you want to stop and buy things/browse, you need to tell him. Otherwise he’ll walk you through the maze of the Blue City, show you each Instagrammable alleyway, and tell you all about the local history. Highly recommend!
Our driver and tour guide were fantastic, friendly and knowledgeable. The city is so beautiful and our guides were able to adjust our tour based on what we most wanted to see.
On the way to Chefchaoeun, the tour guide Ali answered all of our questions and even encouraged us to ask him more questions. On the way back to Tangier, we asked him where to buy organic pomegranate. Surprisingly, he bought a bag for us.

Our tour through Chefchaeouen and Tangiers was excellent from start to finish. Our tour guide (Abdul) was communicative, helpful, knowledgeable, pleasant, and pickup and dropoff at the ferry was a breeze. We did this as a one-day trip from Tarifa (ferry departed at 9am and we took the 8pm ferry back) and we had enough time. The local tour guide (84 yo man) in Chefchaeouen was also a joy to walk around the blue city with. The views were spectacular, lunch was delicious (get the meatball tagine and mint tea!), and while yes they take you to some tourist shops as kick-back for friends, you'll find some good quality and reasonably priced items if you look through...so I wasn't too bothered by that (rugs, blankets, leather bags, spices, argon oils, etc.).
A beautiful drive from Tangier with a stop along the way to see the reservoir created by the dam. The town of Chefchaouen itself is unique and easily walkable. Lively and extremely friendly people. Our guide Abdul was informative and easy going, we had a great time.
My husband and I flew to Tangier for a long weekend and wanted to see Chefchaouen, but knew we didn’t have enough time to stay overnight. This private day tour was a great option for us and felt very intimate.
