It is a long day with a lot of walking up steep streets. It is a must-do excursion, especially with Jaafar as a guide. Not only did we see the sights, but learned about Moroccan culture and history. We will definitely come back as there is so much to see.

From start to finish this tour company has been fantastic. They get right back with you for all your questions and needs. Our guide Fonzi and our driver whose name i didnt get. We were so well taken care of. Fonzi tried so hard to make sure i was able to go and see everything. I have a torn meniscus 3 different places and 2 sprains. We learned so much about this beautiful city and saw so many things. I couldn’t begin to pick a favorite thing during this tour it was just all fabulous. We stopped for a beautiful lunch there was 7 of us it was served family style. We started with a really good vegetarian soup and a salad. And it just got better and better. If you have chance to spend the day in Tangiers use this tour company!

Sammy was our guide - he knows everyone and was excellent! The camels on the beach was a nice touch. Lunch was absolutely delicious with a wide array of food. The van was very nice. Communication with this tour company was a breeze; they reached out as soon as I booked the tour and were always prompt answering my questions.

Momo was an excellent tour guide. He spoke clearly and was very easy to understand. The highlight of the tour was the camel ride. These animals are very affectionate, and we easily overcame our fear. The sights and shopping of Morocco makes this tour one that I would highly recommend.

Fantastic ,comprehensive tour of Tangier and surroundings , with professional and knowledgeable guide Fadi and great driver Michael, visiting many lovely viewpoints including Cap Spartel & Parc Perdicaris . Great fun visiting Hercules Cave and a ride on a camel. Then followed a walking tour of Tangier of the Kasbar and Medina - Fadi showed us some great spots and important sites & shops and cafe baba for mint tea .He was polite, patient and friendly-an asset to his city . Thank you for a great day - thoroughly recommended- we will be back !

We had an AMAZING tour with Jaafar! He was so knowledgeable, kind, and did a great job taking us to all the important sites in Tangier. I am so happy we booked this tour, there is no way we would have seen everything if we just explored on our own. Our experience in Tangier was exceptional as a result of touring with Jaafar!

Fantastic tour guide!!!! Fouad treated us to a custom tour of the Souks, from jewelry to leather goods it was a shoppers haven! We had wonderful lunch. we bought local olives. we had good fun. On to the camel rides. Im disabled but you wouldnt know it as the camel handlers got me up and riding. Im so appreciative. 10star quality tour from start to finish!!!

Our guide, Amine, was excellent. He guided us to just the right places and helped us navigate a new culture exceptionally well. We had tea, visited overlooks, explored Hercules cave, rode camels on the beach, had an authentic Moroccan lunch, and visited the local markets. Our driver, Oussama was also excellent and would appear at just the right time to get us to our next location. Both were fabulous representatives of their country.

Worth every penny. Mocine (sp?) our guide was fantastic. The van we were transported in was the nicest we’ve been in and Mohammed was a great driver. Cap Spartel, Hercules Cave, Camel Riding, all before lunch.
We walked the Kasbah, had an authentic lunch and saw a community oven in operation. We were taken to a shopping area and were able to look at some authentic items, however the sales techniques are just a little pushy for our taste. Our guide took us to another shop where we were able to look without being pressured. We were able to avoid a carpet demonstration as we have sat through several of those in our travels.
All in all a great day in Tanger

This tour was terrible! Don’t do it. It’s totally misrepresented. It was NOT private, NOT wheelchair accessible, NOT including lunch- (we did get lunch at 3:30, after we made a fuss but it was so uncomfortable.) did NOT include an entrance into a Mosque, the van did NOT have adequate air conditioning, and the tour guide made me feel very uncomfortable after I mentioned lunch being included. We went to two hard sell businesses, rug and spice shop. Also very uncomfortable. We did not want to buy anything there yet we spent so much time there when we could have been shopping in the market. While at the rug shop, I went upstairs to use the restroom and an employee came up to me, put his arm around me, told me since I didn’t have a man and I was pretty I should be part of his harem. I tried to giggle it off but it was so uncomfortable. He kept his arm around me for 2 flights of stairs even though I tried to pull away.
During the tour, many children and disabled people begged for money which was heartbreaking. Our guide did nothing to help us navigate those situations.
We have asked for a refund and have been declined by Viator. We are extremely disappointed in Viator.

I had a wonderful day today. My tour guide Faoud was excellent. The day was everything I could have asked for and more. Faoud was organized, informative and kind. I recommend this tour to anyone that wants to make some special memories in Tangier.

This tour was not descirbed well! First it was labeled as "wheelchair accessible" and also as "private" both things grossly in error. It also stated we would visit 3 caves, we only saw 1 and we had to ask to see it. We also had to ask for the camel ride and LUNCH! Our tour guide, Fonzi, was very knowledgable but instead of taking us to do what was listed in the tour description he seemed more interested in getting us to his friend's businesses. He toured us throught the kasbah and the souks but never allowed time to let us wander and shop and the paths that we walked were not friendly for people with mobility challenges. He took us to a Morrocan/Bermese rug store where we were pressured to purchase rugs and no was not taken nicely. Men followed us around the store and at one point on lady in our group was made to feel very uncomfortable when she went to use the restroom and a man saw her without her husband and asked her to come and join his harem while putting his arm around her, it was very inappropriate. Our tour began at 9:30 and by the time we were released from the rug store it was nearly 1:00, so Fonzi took us for tea and cookies, no lunch?! On the move again walking through narrow cobblestone streets and hills we inquired about lunch and were told it wasn't included, we presented our ticket and he made a call or two. At first he instisted it was not included, but we persisted. We then went only to the door of the synagogue, advertised as "entrance" and then into another friend's shop for oils. He then became agitated and took us back to the van to drive us to the cave and camel (neither of which were prescheduled). He had to go ahead of us to make arrangements while we waited. The tour did end with a nice "lunch" at 3:30 (we had a diabetic in our group, luckily she had snacks!). While the information and history that was shared was wonderful the pressure of the sales at the rug and oil shops was annoying and the fact that we had to insist on getting the things that were advertised was ridiculous. Not only was it not a private tour (we had a group of 10 and there were 4 other people who joined us, so not private but "small group") it was not wheelchair accessible we walked over 3.5 miles and climbed over 20 flights of stairs! and the entire day the tour guide kept asking us to be sure to fill out the review and give him 10's. I would NOT recommend this tour and in fact I think Viator should either remove it or grossly change the description!

Thank you for the detailed review , lunch is not included in this tour , you insisted to have it & we added it for you & for your group , you ask to have a group tour & that's what we did although it's a private tour we accept to make an exception & do a group tour for you , our guide fouad did his best to make you happy ( every couple wanted something specific, oils , rugs , jewellery) that's why he took you to one place where they have everything, you visited the cave as well ( only one cave included ) & there is only 2 caves in tangier not 3 , you came on the celebrity equinox cruise ship & tangier was busy that's why our guide started with the medina then he took you to ride camels & everything he did you were ok with it , he would never do something without asking for your permission,

Hafiz was a fantastic guide!
In just 4 hours, we were able to explore most of Tangier thanks to his efficient planning. He suggested great shopping stops and patiently waited while we browsed. He also timed our route perfectly, making sure we visited the Medina before it closed in the afternoon. Highly recommend him for a smooth and well-paced experience

Unforgettable Day Exploring Tangier's Treasures! Jaafar was an amazing guide, very personable and passionate about the history and customs of everything, Morocco, and beyond. We explored, CapSpartel light house, Hercules Caves, Perdicardis, The Kaspah, Old Medina, where we ate a wonderful traditional, Moroccan, lunch, Berber Markets, and best of all, the camel ride which was a dream! The camel guy greeted us with the song, 🎼🎼Don’t Worry Be Happy🎼🎼, and took amazing pics and videos of us with my phone as we rode the camels : ) It’s a day we will never forget! Thank you, Jafaar, For introducing us to the exotic, Moroccan, way! 🩵

Our guide was very knowledgeable about the area, the people and the culture. He took us to a several stores and we watched a presentation on their products. We felt pressured to buy them, instead of letting us shop with the local vendors. There was some confusion on whether or not food was included, when we signed up it stated it was. It became rushed to see the caves and camel ride because we spent a long time with his vendors.

This was the perfect way to spend a day in Tangier. Great communication prior to arrival. Seamless pick up at the port. Jafar did an amazing job guiding our small family through the nooks and crannies and beautiful sites of Tangier, providing great conversation and narrative along the way. We would use him again anytime. Highly recommend.

We had an incredible time with Jaafar! We learned so much about the history and culture of this city- known for peace and tolerance! The camel ride on the beach was definitely a highlight!!! I loved the Hercules Cave and learning a bit about the Greek mythology that shaped the continents. We saw the markets, the forest, the lighthouse, architecture, religious sites, the palace, and so much more! If you are a movie buff Jaafar is for you! He knows where everything was filmed in Tangier. We had such yummy food at Dada- this did take up 2 hours of the tour and when we had our coffee/tea and the cost of lunch/drink is not included with the tour at $55- however def worth it for us. It meant more to us to sit and eat the local food than walk more of the market.

We had an amazing time on our tour of Tangiers. Our guide, Fouad , was very personable and his English exceptional. His knowledge of the Tangiier landmarks, Moroccan history and culture was imparted with passion. We enjoyed our 4-5 hour tour, and greatly appreciated our lunch together at an authentic Moroccan restaurant in the city.

We came on a cruise ship which was delayed for
3.5 hours, and the guide was super accommodating and we were still able to have a great and thorough tour of all of the major highlights of Tangiers.

Absolutely amazing! We had the very best time with Fouad from the second he picked us up to dropping us off. He was polite, interesting, had excellent knowledge to share, and made sure we saw everything we wanted. The van-driver Salma was also very polite and a very experienced driver who managed the tricky Tangier traffic well. I would absolutely recommend both this tour and Fouad to anyone visiting Tangier!
