You will be picked up from your Sydney Hotel or other central location within 3km of the city centre. Groups up to 10 people: We can meet you at the Sydney Airport or Cruise Terminal to begin your tour and drop you and your luggage off at your hotel, Cruise Terminal or Airport at the end of your tour. Groups of 11 or more, please contact us for a custom quote for travelling with luggage. For airport pickups, we will advise your meeting point at the time of booking. You will need to load and unload your own luggage. Our tour guides are not professional porters and under Work, Health and Safety regulations are not permitted to lift heavy bags.

Liz packed alot of points of intrest is one day. We could have gone for another 8 hours if we had the time! Professional and well planned.

We spent a delightful day in Sydney with our driver/guide, Julian. Besides being a skilled driver, he’s also a great conversationalist. Our private tour was customized to suit our interests and abilities. Should we have occasion to be in Sydney again, we will enthusiastically book another tour with Runaway Tours.
Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable on the city sites and history. We would have spent 3 day locating and visiting the sites we saw in one day. It was well worth the price. He was flexible and arranged for us to take an unplanned ferry ride. We had a very nice lunch with great beach view. Again, a fantastic experience. We are recommending it to our son, who will be here in September.
A great trip to get an overview of Sydney and the various areas. Our guide, Glenn, was wonderful. Very friendly and knowledgeable.
It was a perfect experience. There were seven of us in and 8-seater van: two somewhat elderly, two parents of and with three kids 9,8 and 5. Liz was our wonderful, cheerful and accommodating driver and never failed to deliver. We were able to adapt the destinations a bit, the timing a lot (herding three kids was tricky!) and we even got to walk over the Harbour Bridge, swim (kids) at Shelley Beach. visit the Opera House, among many highlights. Unfailingly cheerful and adaptable Liz was the best! AND a great driver!! I cannot recommend this company, and trip,enough: I'm an Aussie, the little family were from the UK and we all were thrilled. EVEN THE KIDS!! AWESOME experience

Joe was a brilliant driver and very adept in terms of knowledge and little known tidbits of information. Joe enjoyed us as much as we enjoyed his tour. Timely and always punctual on pick ups and drop offs. If you book a tour in Sydney ask for Joe. Highly recommend.
Our tour guide, Glenn, was very knowledgeable on the area. We drove down small streets to interesting places with great history and fantastic views that only locals know about. You definitely see more of what you want to see on a private tour than a group tour! This tour was perfect for my wife and me.
Scott was exceptional with his knowledge all the sights were taken to. Was very caring and helpful with all our questions about the sights.
Excellent experience. Our guide Liz was fabulous. Very knowledgeable and more importantly accommodating. I use a walker and she was more than patient.

Perfect one day overview of Sidney. It was greatly enhanced by our excellent tour guide, Chris. He brought Sydney to life via history, culture, architecture. Sensitive to our needs. He married his United States upbring with his extensive time in Sydney to provide us with a wealth of information. Great recommendation for lunch. Water was always at the ready.
Excellent tour to get a good feel for metro Sydney. Our guide Julian really made the tour a great day for us. He was knowledgeable, flexible and fun to spend the day with.
Julian was fantastic. He knew Sydney and the surrounding areas like the back of his hand and he tuned the day to make it even more special for my family. We couldn't have seen as many unique stops on our own.

This was a great tour. Our guide was Bettina and she was wonderful! We hit every Sydney “must see” that you can think of, plus she drove us out to both Bondi Beach, where we had lunch, as well as Manly Beach for coffee and ice cream. We highly recommend, and Bettina was a lot of fun!

Bettina was absolutely fantastic. She made us feel like we were family. Her description of the sights were thorough and her selection of what we were to see was fantastic. A true asset to her company
We had a fabulous tour of Sydney with Julian. He took us to all the highlights and provided us with a history at each location. We went to Bondi beach and he recommended a pub for lunch, where I had the best fish and chips I’ve ever had. We also got to see out of the way places we never would have known about. It was just me and my nephew on the tour, and I have to say that I totally recommend a private tour, as we had nine hours of undivided attention at our own pace. Kudos to Julian for a great tour.

We did an all day tour of Sydney with guide Chris. We saw all the main sights and many neighborhoods. Chris was very knowledgeable and engaging. We had a terrific day. With lunch on Bondi beach. We couldn’t ask for a better tour.
Brendan was an excellent guide. He was knowledgeable and informed. This is a great way to see Sydney. Really liked Manly Beach and quiet little McKell Garden.
We had a late start to our day, but we ended up with Joe and he was great! Joe showed us around, gave us time to explore areas by ourselves so we could shop. We even went back to a restaurant that he recommended for our dinner that evening. I’m sure the cost of this adventure seems high, but worth every penny!! Highly recommend this company. Steve Arnerich is fabulous with communication if something happens. Thanks Joe for a great day 🙌 and being a great tour guide!
Our guide Ben was very informative and friendly. Knew his way around the city and was a very safe driver. He made our tour one of the best! Would definite recommend this company.
We had a wonderful day with Ben, and highly recommend this tour! We saw so much of the city, and the history and knowledge Ben shared about the places we visited added so much to our experience. Coupled with some terrific suggestions on places to stop for photos and snacks, we couldn't have asked for a better day!
