Your evening starts with 5-star service as soon as you step onboard. You will be escorted to your premium window side table seated on the upper deck of the spacious cruise vessel and served your first drink of the night and a selection of canapes to enjoy as your boat sets off from the Sydney waterfront.
Your meal includes a delicious, carefully selected 6-course degustation dinner complimented with Penfolds gold selection of bin and vintage wines to accompany each course, plus unlimited beer, house spirits and soft drinks.
On Saturdays and Sundays, enjoy listening to live music from a lounge singer and pianist as you eat.
Admire the waterfront views and starry skies as you pass by famous landmarks including Sydney Opera House, Fort Denison, and Sydney Harbour Bridge. Imagine what Captain James Cook must have thought when he first landed in Sydney Harbour in 1770 and named the site Port Jackson. Since its beginnings, Sydney has captivated visitors. This was definitely worth the money! Book the guaranteed window seat and the Penfolds wine dinner. They kept the wine flowing and the food was fabulous! Mindy was our server and she was a gem! She was very attentive and friendly. We loved it!

Everything about this experience was top notch. The service was wonderful, the views amazing and the foods and wines were excellent. Can’t recommend enough for an evening in Sydney.

The food and drink was excellent however, it was only a two hour roundctrip not 3 as paid for . The operator stated that it is always two hours.

The ride itself provided beautiful photos from the water of all the best landmarks. The food and wine pairing dinner was delicious and well prepared. My only negative is that the service was underwhelming and the bathrooms were very dirty and some of the stalls were out of order.

This could be a perfect tour except we were on our third course before pulling away from the dock. Then had to stop at another dock to pick up a group that was not at the original pick up point. Also had a group of guest from another table that kept gathering around our table to take selfies through the window. Our waiter did not tell them to stop but another waitress told them they needed to go upstairs for pictures. So the last hour of dinner was nice.

The staff were excellent, but for an event sold as the Penfolds Gold Dinner Cruise, featuring some of their finest wines including museum wines, the ‘event’ was more like a scrum.
The food was there, just, although to my great surprise my beef was cooked perfectly. That said, what was presented as a Peking duck appetiser was more quackery, than culinary…anything. The fizz was fuzzy, the Rose - ‘Max’s blend’ defies logic given Max was the Grange creator…the Chardonnay was bland, but the Cab Sav dulled my pain. As for the harbour cruise, the interior lighting robbed most opportunities to realise where we were. I could have had a meal at any one of the fabulous harbour restaurants and seen more.

The cruise and dinner were amazing but beware not all drinks are included like I got the impression of. Dinner takes so long that there is not much time to get any of what the complimentary drinks are anyway, and we were told that cocktails were not included. So we just had the wine pairings. For almost $400 USD, that part was very disappointing, and I did feel it was a bit overpriced, but please know that the food and service were amazing as well as the views of the Harbour at sunset.

The ship has great view windows from all tables. The food is excellent and paired well. Pours are generous. Our waiter Vasel, was wonderful. Attentive and very personable. This was a great way to celebrate our time in Sydney.

A wonderful evening, the food and drinks were spaced out so that you were not rushed, the views at night were brilliant. The only thing would be if you don’t like wine buy the package that gives you the open bar, a great evening and ideal if you want to enjoy food and drinks in a relaxed environment with amazing views

We made reservations for the Penfolds Dinner Cruise not knowing that it was a wine tasting AND dinner. What a terrific experience! From the moment we went on board to the moment of disembarkation, our every need was attended to by our waitress and hostess. The meal was expertly prepared. My steak was cooked to perfection. And you cannot beat the views from the dinner ship as we slowly glided in Sydney Harbor.

We booked a gold dinner evening cruise with a window seat. We had to pay 30 Australian dollars extra for a window seat, despite there being free tables, which was soo embarrassing everyone was looking at us as if we were trying to get something for nothing when all we wanted was what we had booked. Also the boat was large and seemed to have guests on all sorts of different dining/drinking experiences. Not at all restful or romantic. Would not recommend

The tour was exactly as stated. The service was excellent and the food and wine were equally excellent. We had Mildred as a server and she was fabulous! The only small, very small issue, is to know that when you book this tour, you may not get a table by the window. We were in the middle on a platform and could still see but were not by a window. It was not a huge issue as the second 1/2 of the cruise was dark but if you want a window seat, just know this. You can also walk to an upper deck for great views at any point during the cruise. We would still do the tour again when in Sydney.

Beautiful evening with dear friends viewing the spectacular Sydney Harbor and iconic buildings from different angles. The dinner, pairing of wines and service was outstanding. The boat was nicely layed and comfortable. We also enjoyed the live music.

Loved this night I am not a wine drinker and it was booked purely as my partner is and the food and experience ... it didn't disappoint 🙌...plenty of wine and also beer and spirits if wanted ... the food was delicious and the eye fillet was incredible... some small tips if you want more bread just ask and if you want a refill also ask .... we had Lola the budding actress who was chatty and lovely.... enjoyed the evening and the atmosphere also the live music was good 👍 also if you want a seat by the window ask when booking ... also the windows needed cleaning 😌 but that didn't dampen our evening at all 😁

A lovely experience - scenery, food and wine were all excellent. Staff were courteous and accommodating.
My only negative was being asked to pay extra for guaranteed window seating on a cruise for which we had already paid $269pp and which is marketed around the views! Seemed a bit rude!
