Itinerary
Make your way to Place d’Austerlitz, where you’ll get fitted with a bike and meet a guide, and get a short introduction to Strasbourg before starting your bike ride. Ride through the atmospheric streets of the Old Town, passing Notre Dame de Strasbourg and the Pont de Corbeau across the Ill River. Follow the riverbank to the 17th-century Vauban Dam, pedalling beside picturesque covered bridges.
Continue into the imperial German district, the Neustadt, to see the Palais Universitaire, the Place de la République, and the Strasbourg Opera House, a 19th-century landmark that was rebuilt in Neoclassical style after after damage from Prussian artillery.
Get a look at daily life in Strasbourg’s pretty squares, from the Place Broglie to Place Gutenberg and Place Saint Etienne, which is flanked by homes in traditional style. Finish the 1.5-hour bike tour by riding back to Place d’Austerlitz, close to Strasbourg’s cafes, restaurants, and attractions.

A great tour and fabulous way to see city highlights. Sarah was a great guide- very knowledgeable about the city history.
You do need to be reasonably confident on a bike and on the road with cars at times.
Bike was super easy to ride and comfortable. We had a great afternoon seeing more of the city than we could have if we were walking.

1st. The tour covered the best parts of the city, history as well as its beauty. Well worth the ride.
2nd. We were not the only participants on this tour who found the meeting spot confusing and hard to find. In fact all 5 separate people on the tour had trouble, which lead to a late start. The instructions on the ticket say to wait outside the cafe, but the meeting place is actually outside what looks like a residential entrance, next to the cafe mentioned.
This is the only reason I gave only 3 stars. It gave a lot of stress to those who don’t know the city or read French street names with maze of winding roads rads and alleys.
I suggest that the tour guide hold a sign or a flag, with the name of the tour company for easy identification. They can then leave it behind upon collection of bike and start of your.
Other than that , I loved seeing places we would not have known about without the tour.

This bike tour was an excellent way to explore Strasbourg. Our guide was fantastic and shared a wealth of knowledge about the city’s history. We had an amazing experience and highly recommend it!

Our son found this bike tour on Viator which he has used many times in the U.S. and we very much enjoyed seeing Strasbourg this way. Our guide was really nice and knowledgable. My only criticism was the meeting place. The Viator App indicated Place d'Austerlitz #24 but the 2 other people on the tour and the guide were in front on #10 so we were really confused and walked around in circles with the app directions. Apparently the reference to #10 was on the Cyclorama website and not through the Viator App so this should be clear, especially if the group is small, like ours was, and not clearly marked. I called the phone number on the App but was only able to leave a message and got no answer. Thankfully, after walking around the square a few times, we saw some people and I asked if they were on the bike tour. They said they were waiting for us so we started late but it worked out!

We were a group of three tourists and our guide. It was really a great tour, her explanations were interesting and to the point, I never felt overloaded or floated with info. The tour provided an overview about the cities history from the middle ages to the present and focused on the “island” (old district), Neustadt, Park Orangerie, and the Euro-district. For people who are short on time, but would get an overview about the history of Strasbourg, I really recommend that.

Great tour. She was very informative!
Showed us the German-vs-French architectural influences
Learned a lot about Strasbourg and we knew nothing
And more
Most tours get long… this one did not
I don’t remember her ever telling us her name so I can’t put that in here

Strasbourg is a great city to do a bike tour in, as it was flat and had bike lanes. The bike I had was great. Highly recommend!

Our guide, Barbara, was absolutely the best - knowledgeable, personable, considerate. Felt like we saw it all!! We saw places that we had just walked by and not noticed. She helped us to understand that there was an Alsace dialect and explained the timeline of Strasbourg's history. We booked this as our first tour of our trip and are very glad that we did. Highly recommended!

We traveled in a group with three adults an 11 year old infant. All of us highly enjoyed it!

An excellent way to get to know Strasbourg. Our guide, Maud, was friendly and gave us a great deal of facts on the history of Strasbourg.
We covered a lot of ground in our 1.5 hrs.
However you need to be a confident cyclist because the streets were very crowded. On the other hand it was not strenuous, indeed one of our party only rides a bike once a year when she is with us.
I recommend this tour to all visitors to Strasbourg.

We had a good time cycling around Strasbourg with Letitia. She had good stories about the city and history at a variety of locations and was fun to chat with. She was careful about keeping track of us and took routes that seemed safe and not too busy with tourists or cars. The bikes were one-size-fits-all city rentals that bad some minor problems. We're glad we went!

Besten Dank
