Itinerary
After meeting your guide outside your central Strasbourg hotel, begin your walking tour of the beautiful city. As this is a private tour, the exact route may vary depending on your pace and interests—but your guide will ensure you experience many of Strasbourg’s highlights along the way.
Listen to stories of Strasbourg’s history and its German heritage, and see that heritage firsthand at the first stop of the day, the Grande Ile.
Stroll through this UNESCO World Heritage Site’s pretty, pedestrian-friendly lanes to see the Medieval Maison Kammerzell. It was once a private home, and is now a restaurant and hotel. See the statue of Johannes Gutenberg, inventor of the Gutenberg printing press, who was living in Strasbourg when he invented it. Pass by the ornately decorated 18th-century Palais Rohan, a palace where Marie Antoinette and Napoleon Bonaparte both stayed.
Continue walking through the Grande Ile to the Cathedral of Notre Dame, one of the most magnificent buildings in Strasbourg. Admire the 12th- and 14th-century stained glass and rose windows set into all that imposing stonework and topped with spires, and head inside to view the cathedral's interior.
Visit the neighborhood of La Petite France, which used to be where workers in the milling, tanning, and fishing trades lived. Many of the half-timbered houses they once called home remain, overlooking the little canals that run through the neighborhood.
Walk along the cobblestone streets and take advantage of the many photo opportunities available.
Your tour ends in the center of Strasbourg, where you can continue exploring on your own.

Florence was great- very knowledgeable about history and good practical tips. Group of 7 with 4 kids.

Having Florence, a native of Strasbourg, as our guide was fantastic. She was knowledgeable about historic details and informative about the area. She was efficient with our 2 hours and got so much in. We felt ready to explore on our own after our tour and that was one of the main goals. I highly recommend her.

In spite of some connection at the beginning the excursion was extraordinary and much appreciated the guidance and the stops to see the marvelous places and buy some wine and gifts.

Florence was an excellent tour guide. She made the history of the city come alive! We had been to Strasbourg before but Florence made a return trip truly memorable!

This was a great tour, full of surprises. Discover the numbers and names above the doorways. Learn about the conversion of a dilapidated, rat infested prison into a school training France’s politicians. See one if the world’s oldest astronomical clocks. And much, much, more from an excellent guide.

The tour was just terrific, all thanks to our wonderful tour guide Danielle. She met us promptly at our hotel and then walked us through lovely Strasbourg, pointing out the history and significant structures, including Strasbourg's Notre Dame Cathedral, just gorgeous! Danielle was very personable, her English is excellent and she indulged my efforts in French and even pointed out good bakeries and got us samples of Alsatian macaroons coconut YUM! Highly recommend this tour with Danielle!

Loved this tour, loved Strasbourg. We had an excellent guide who was so knowledgeable and had a great sense of humour. Thoroughly recommended.

An excellent walk with Daniele who engaged with us in a friendly, professional manner. Two hours and money well spent to enable us to gain an insight into the city of Strasbourg from a person with local knowledge.

This tour was fantastic, even though the weather wasn't that co-operative that day. The pace was excellent. The guide was knowledgeable and personable. It was really excellent. Strasbourg is a beautiful city and the astronomical clock was amazing.

Sadly, we learned more on the audio recording used on the boat tour (€25) than with our personal and much more costly guide. We would not recommend this tour to anyone and hope that our Munich experience with you will be better. Otherwise we will not use your services again. - Steve D

Excellent way to get to know the big things and the little things about this great city especially if you are pressed for time. The tour guide is a true native Alsatian, very enthusiastic and very knowledgeable.

The guide was good. But the total cost was too high. I will book local in the future

Dommage que nous n’ayons pas pu avoir des réponses aux questions que nous avons posées.
Très mauvais rapport qualité / prix.
