- If your ship is late or delayed and you have an early tour, don't panic! We will wait and give you reasonable and sufficient time to get off the ship so that you can still enjoy your tour. Remember to keep our number handy just in case you need to reach us in case of a delay or very early arrival.
- You should bring along the following items: bathing suit, towel, sunscreen, and cash for lunch, drinks and souvenirs. Drinks on the tour bus are complimentary.
- While shopping or at the beach, your items will be secured in the front cab of the tour bus.
- If Shopping is part of your tour, once you're finished, we meet at the Liberty Bell in Emancipation Park. Shops close at 1:00 PM on Sundays.
- Coki Beach and Sapphire Beaches are free but Magens Bay has an entrance fee of $7.00 per person.
- Your Tour Package does not include the beach entrance fee, Coral World entrance fee or any other activity.
- Free drinks are provided on the tour buses all day for our passengers.
- This tour/activity will have a maximum of 100 travelers

Absolutely amazing experience! The views were breathtaking, the shopping stops were unique, and the splash time was the perfect mix of fun and relaxation. Rough start. Changed pickup location then didn't show up. Half hour later showed for another group but took us and another family with this later group. Communication was zero. However, once we were on, driver/guide was wonderful. Will recommend but patience is needed.

I really enjoyed the tour and the people on board. We got to see lots of sights and learned many facts about the island’s history! The tour guide provided us with complementary drinks and snacks. I would recommend bringing a fan and cash for local shopping. 10/10 would do again!

Very good experience enjoyed the banana daiquiri stop, and the beach at the end was the best beach we had ever been to definitely to choose Magens Bay

Excellent sampling of St. Thomas with a variety of experiences. Great value for the money. Visited a beautiful beach featuring bar and grill with outdoor seating facing the ocean. Knowledgeable guide. Completely satisfied.

We enjoyed the tour and feel it was a good value. Our scheduled pickup time was pushed back an hour and the tour ran further behind schedule as the day went on. Because of this we had to forgo the final part (the beach) as we had dinner reservations. I can recommend, but keep evening plans flexible as there’s chance you’ll be dropped back at your hotel much later than expected

It was not a great experience. Did not have wifi on the ship so we never had a ticket or any info where to meet driver. I had to go to guest services on ship to call to find the meeting point. Arrived on time and there was no driver waiting or holding a sign with a name. There were others that had to call too because they were waiting as well. Didn't know to look for Godfrey tours (vs Viator) either without being able to access wifi anywhere off the ship either. After we found our driver, we left 25 minutes late.
He did not take us shopping in downtown Charlotte Amalie. Did not take us to Mafolie Hotel to overlook the Bluebeard and Blackbeard's pirate castles. We did go up to the mountain top and enjoyed the beautiful view, had a banana daquari and bought a couple souveniers and was time to leave. We did stop at Sir Francis Drake seat, (the British pirate) overlooking Magens Bay.
Our group chose Sapphire Beach and had about an hour and a half there and then they took us back to the ship early. Said all the shops in downtown closed at 5 so that was a big disappointment that we did not go where promised, We should have been taken there first.
Driver did a good job (roads are crazy busy and winding) and he was personable. He offered chips and water.

We had such a great experience. Godfrey was so accommodating, took pride in giving us a great experience and also filling us in with the history of the island. I would definitely recommend going on this trip to other travelers. A great bang for your buck.

We had a really good time on this tour. It was very informational and covered a lot of the island! There were some very beautiful views and stops were reasonable. The tram was open air and nice.

There was some initial confusion on which of the two ports to be picked up from. Not the fault of the tour company (Godfrey) as I put down the port that our cruise line (Holland America) told me a couple of months before the cruise. Once on board, HAL announced we would be going to the other port. I called Viator who said they would contact Godfrey. Plus I left a text for Godfrey but never heard back. Godfrey did contact me the morning of the excursion and ensured someone picked us up and got us back to the tour. The tour wasn't crowded and allowed everyone enough time at the stops. The tour advertised the choice of staying one of 3 beaches if we wanted. But, we were only offered Sapphire Beach which was outstanding. Godfrey Tours dropped us off at our port even though we were the only ones from that one.

Mr.goofrey is a very respectful and knowledgable, we learn a lot about the island history and got to take pictures and videos of some amazing views . You would truly enjoy yourself .

I was very disheartened when our first stop was some tourist shopping spot just near the port.Our tour was scheduled for 8:30 then moved to 9 then we were dropped off for trinket shopping until 10:50 not what I was expecting per the itinerary.First mountain top never saw bluebeards or the next stop.We were rushed thru banana daquiri and the best shop for jewelry ,weren’t told what time we were leaving the mountain top unless we listened to the guides speech felt like a hostage on a tour I paid to be on,terrible unless you wanted to know of every hurricane that has ever hit St Thomas and the historic bench.Awful Awful

This is a fantastic value. Take the earliest pickup you can and you'll get more time in town. My only disappointment was that I had planned to go to Sapphire Beach and we were only given a choice between Coki and Magens. I had already been to Magens so I chose Coki and it was the most crowded tiny beach I've ever been to. Every square foot of sand was taken up with lounge chairs you have to rent.

This was a fun excursion for our family! We went with myself, my husband, our 2 year old, 12 year old and 14 year old and we all had a blast! He stopped at a fun market, we went up the mountain and the whole time, he was giving us the history of St.Thomas. We visited 2 beaches and enjoyed great food!

After some confusion day before and some misinformation from viator, we got off the ship and found pick up right there. We had some concerns about getting back to ship on time so we opted to return to ship without beach. Got a ride with tour guy and it was all good.

Great for the money. Enjoyed the continued points of interest stops and unlimited soft drinks and chips. Disappointing that first driver did not say anything about shopping in area we waited for more than an hour. We rented a car (highly recommended) and were able to tour island on our own the next couple of days.

Our tour was supposed to start at 8:30, but the tour was 43 minutes late, We called the tour operator after we had waited 15 minutes and the operator informed us that he had 2 people that had called off from work and he was trying to get a replacement. He finally got somebody to drive us and that’s what he did…..drove. There was no commentary for the first part of the tour. Our first stop lasted for over an hour and it was the “shopping” portion of the tour. We pulled up to a tiny fly by night flea market that was not impressive at all. Tried to buy a St Thomas magnet, but the “salesperson” was manning several booths and could not be located. All passengers returned to the bus at the time requested and sat there 25 minutes not doing anything. Considering the fact that we were already 45minutes late, this was extremely frustrating to most passengers.
We then proceeded up a mountain to a very nice souvenir shop that also made banana daiquiris. This stop had a spectacular view of the island and quality t-shirts and other items. I would have preferred spending more time at this location and less at the shady flea market. On this portion of the tour, the driver finally pointed out some sights, but we were in the back and could not hear. Speaking of being in the back, the driver handed out “snacks”, which consisted of a box of multipack Lays chips. The box started at the front and worked its way to the back where the option was sour cream and cheddar ruffles or if you preferred, sour cream and cheddar ruffles….
Once we left the top of the mountain, the driver must have got the speakers working on the bus, because we could now hear him.
We were supposed to have a couple of hours at Magens Bay Beach, but all but 6 on the bus opted out because they were afraid they would miss their ship departure time. It didn’t matter because 30 minutes into our beach time, it started pouring the rain.
All in all, it was the worst excursion that I’ve ever been on and I would not recommend this tour.

Excellent guide, experience and value for the money. Saw much of the island and even enjoyed a few hours at the beach. AND they even pick up and drop off at the hotel.
