No overcrowding this is a semi-private excursion. A maximum of 12 guests will enjoy a 4 hr trip from St. Thomas to St John. At one of the many snorkel spots around St John (Trunk or Maho Bay, Christmas Cove) or nearby uninhabited Cays (Mingo, Lovango or Stevens) you will have snorkeling gear to explore coral reefs that are home to tropical fish such as snapper, parrotfish, sturgeonfish, squirrelfish and other sea life including swimming with turtle. Once the group is finished snorkeling, enjoy complimentary soda and beer. After snorkeling, we will whisk you away to either Hawksnest Bay or Honeymoon Beach at Caneel Bay (weather dependent). Don’t Sleep on This One

Highly recommend if you are looking for a laid-back vibe with an experienced captain (who also happens to be a pretty good chef and a killer bartender!). Kendall made sure all the bases were covered: safety, comfort, fun. Good music, great info about the islands. Snorkeling at our leisure, seeing all types of marine life and exploring around a ship wreck. Relaxing ride on the way back, for a memorable day that ended way too soon.

From start to finish, the logistics were completely seamless and stress-free, taking all the worry out of making it back to the cruise ship on time while maximizing every single minute on the water. What truly sets this tour apart, however, is the outstanding service. Captain Sean and his incredible crew delivered top-tier hospitality from the moment we stepped on board. Captain Sean is a stellar captain—expertly navigating the crystal-clear turquoise waters, sharing local insights, and keeping everyone entertained—while his attentive crew made sure we were always comfortable and catered to. They escorted us to breathtaking snorkeling spots packed with marine life, even jumping into the water to assist guests and point out wildlife. Paired with delicious food, endless cold drinks, and a spacious, comfortable boat, Captain Sean and his crew made us feel like VIPs. My wife and I couldn't have asked for a better day, and we will definitely book with New Horizons again next time we're in the Virgin Islands!

Catie and Joe were fantastic. They both got in the water to find us the best snorkeling areas and point out a lot of turtles, fish, octopus and a jellyfish. We loved having a small group experience for our first-timers. They provided drinks and a snack of pineapple, melon, veggies and dip. Catie and Joe are very conscious of safety and we never felt worried. I would HIGHLY recommend this tour.

Great Tour

This tour was absolutely amazing! Mr. Godfrey was our tour guide, and he truly knows exactly what a great tour should be. From the moment we got on his bus until the very end, he shared the history of the island in such an interesting and engaging way. He takes you to all of the popular attractions and makes sure you get to experience the best the island has to offer. He also went above and beyond by offering snacks, water, sodas, and juice throughout the tour, which was such a thoughtful touch! I’m so glad I found this tour because it was definitely worth the money! Mr. Godfrey was knowledgeable, friendly, and made the entire experience unforgettable. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting St. Thomas. You won’t be disappointed!

Fun day at sea!

Such a fun day trip! Captain JW and Liv were awesome and made the experience super fun. They explained everything upfront, were there at our beck and call to hand out pool floats, drinks and snorkel equipment. They were always checking to see if we needed anything. The boat was spacious and comfortable. The surrounding area is so beautiful and they knew all the best spots to go to!! we got some geography and history lessons and they answered all of our questions. You can tell they wanted to keep us entertained and safe the whole time. We were a group of six adults. I would definitely book this boat again. Had everything we needed and more!

Great Experience!

My daughter and I had a wonderful time. Sean was a great captain and knows so much about the area. We loved the smaller group and were lucky to have a very nice family share the outing with us. We saw sea turtles, beautiful fish and a sting ray. You need to swim in if you want to spend time on the beach so you may want to have a waterproof bag for phones and money. We were happy to snorkel and stay on the boat. Highly recommend!

Great Experience

It was totally worth it. Our guides were amazing and very attentive. They pre mix a rum drink called the pain killer and it is so good. They would refill your drink before you even finished it. They also have plenty of other drinks. The food was so good and they even offered seconds. My favorite part of the meal was the sweet plantain dessert. The views and sunset were the best. I highly recommend it.

Definitely worth it.

The staff was great and fun! Great atmosphere overall. The views were amazing and got some beautiful pictures. I had made note on here that I had a food allergy and even though it didn't get to the captain when I booked, I had asked him about it at time of check in and he made sure that they had something for me. Much appreciated.

Excellent snorkel cruz

We had a fantastic snorkel trip with Serena, Adrian and Dan aboard the VI Cat. The boat was comfortable with lots of shady and sunny spots to sit. At Turtle Cove we saw numerous turtles, rays, and tropical fish. Plenty of time to snorkel. On the way home we sailed and enjoyed snacks and Painkillers. This is a great family activity.

Great time!

Amazing experience! Rusty, the Captain for Seas the Day was helpful and informative. He knows the are well. Highly recommend taking this excursion. My daughter has a horrible fear of the ocean, but even she couldn’t help but ride in the front of the boat, laughing and having the time of her life up there.
