Nowhere Special Restaurant is located on the lagoon side, to the east of the Simpson Bay draw bridge. We will pick you up with a dinghy to transport you to the boat in the Bay. Be aware the drawbridge may go up creating traffic and please be in time not to keep your fellow travelers waiting.

Tri Catamaran is very stable and roomy. Clean bathroom and excellent seating/lounge area. Family of six and very roomy to spread out. Miriam and Peter were great host and attentive. We had snacks, lunch then dessert. Peter the captain found us a great spot for everyone on the Cat to go swimming and snorkeling. Enjoyed the drinks and lounging around after swimming while planes flew over the boat. Great time spent with family and friends. Thank you

Great relaxing day with Peter and Miriam. Comfortable, small group sail around the island. Hosts were knowledgeable about the island and offered fun facts throughout the day. Great morning pastries, delicious “sandwiches” for lunch and plenty of beverages throughout the day. Very enjoyable and relaxing day sail.

Very professional and enjoyable outing. Pieter, our Captain and Mirian the first mate and hostess have been sailing for over 40 years. The boat ride was very enjoyable and the food and drinks were outstanding. The captain used the sails all day except for pulling up to his tether. Plenty of room on the boat ; they keep the maximum to 16 guests. We take a lot of catamaran trips in the Caribbean and this was one of the best especially for value.

This was a wonderful excursion. Pickup instructions were clear, the catamaran was clean, comfortable and very smooth on the water. Miriam was a great host- we especially loved the sandwiches she made for lunch and the fruit platter. We sailed all over, stopped for a swim and had wine and beer as we enjoyed the day.

Peter and Miriam are wonderful hosts! Their knowledge and seamanship abilities make all on board feel safe and happy. The food on board was terrific, and we wanted for nothing. This was our first trip to Sint Maarten and we are already planning a return which will include a sailing adventure on No1SXM!

I booked 30 min before take off. Was so happy with the day. Relaxing small group,sun shinning just beautiful. The couple who runs it just so accommodating. They were great. Just didn't see any fish during snorkel.

How nice it was we could accommodate you last. minute! It was indeed a great sail and the other 9 guests were all enjoyable. The week before we had some rainy weather that definitely influences visibility...possibly up to a week after that. Unfortunately that is not something we have control over as this weather affects all bays on the island. Luckily on our sail the sun was shining and the sunset was great!

The captain was very experienced. Both people on deck are friendly. The food was good. The snorkeling gear was below par, and the snorkeling was not good at all, hardly saw anything. Definitely not a party environment. No music just people talking and enjoying the sailing. If you don’t want to party atmosphere, this would be a good day trip.

A Fun Day Sailing

Peiter and Mariam where wonderful host to our family of six. We happen to be the only people on board, they normally sail with twelve guests. They provided all of our water, soda, and beer as well as croissant sandwiches, fresh fruit, and a gluten free meal for our daughter-in-law. Peiter has been sailing these waters for more than twenty years and was very knowledgeable about Sint Maarten from the water and Mariam provided us with restaurant suggestions . We stopped halfway through our voyage and swam on noodles in the Caribbean. Entering and exiting the boat was very easy. The trip was well thought out. The day was perfect. We had a great day sailing with Peter and Marian. They were the BEST hosts and the best sailors! Lucky for us, the other 4 passengers canceled so it was just us and our two friends. We encountered VERY strong storms but Peter and Marian were able to guide the boat through them and get us out safely. They are VERY capable sailors!!! We never felt unsafe at all!!! Once we made it through the random storm, we had wonderful weather and were able to enjoy cocktails and sunshine! We stopped at a great spot for snorkeling! Their dog was a great addition as we are all dog lovers! They are an awesome duo for a sailing trip!!

Pure sailing with an experienced captain and mate. Not a "booze cruise", no loud music and only 7 passengers. Good lunch and snacks, plenty to drink and crew very knowledgeable about area and West Indies. Very enjoyable day.

My wife and I have taken approximately 15 catamaran tours with just the 2 of us as well as our family over the years. I have to say....this was probably the worst one we've taken. Food was limited to a few sandwiches and a plate of fruit. Bar was limited to Rum punch, sodas and 2 different beers. No music at all. Don't get me wrong...we weren't expecting a party boat but some low level Caribbean music being played would have been nice. It was an extremely slow sail the entire time with only a few stops that were not interesting. I've never wanted a catamaran tour we've been on to end until this one. Peter and Miriam were extremely nice and it was a pleasure talking with them, but they really need to consider decreasing the price as this was definitely not worth it. We fortunately took another catamaran tour 3 days later which was approx $60 more per person and it was worth every penny and we didn't want it to end.

Dear Timothy, We are sorry your expectations and our offering were clearly a mismatch. The experience that we offer is an exclusive sailing excursion, 12 persons max., focussing on sailing, on a unique trimaran, where we stop once for swimming/snorkeling and a sandwich lunch on board. We like sharing our passion for sailing on the waters around St.Maarten with our guests. In the description of our experience we mention what to expect: no music (except for the wind in the sails, water against the hull), a snack, gourmet sandwich lunch, consisting of a croissant with dutch gouda cheese, baguette with home made curried tuna salad and a baguette with gourmet French ham per person, an extensive fruit platter with fresh pineapple, watermelon, honeydew melon and grapes, and drinks which are beer, white wine, rum punch, various sodas and water (flat & sparkling). Exactly the things you found not pleasant or sufficient, so unfortunately you picked the wrong excursion. Of course for US$ 60,- more per person, on a cruising catamaran, which has many features of a mobile home, more restaurant like food and drinks can be offered. Our trimaran is a racer - cruiser powered by solar panels, which is clearly shown on the main picture, and are therefore limited in food and beverage offerings. We, confirmed by many of repeating guests, feel we offer something unique, unlike the many other catamaran excursions you and your family have been on.
