Sam was very responsive the day before our tour, promptly answering our questions, and he was there to meet us as soon as we arrived. There were six of us, and we specifically wanted a private experience to fully enjoy the day without the presence of other groups or children—and this tour delivered exactly that. It was an incredible experience. The boat was comfortable, and the beaches Sam took us to were absolutely stunning. He was friendly, accommodating, and had drinks readily available throughout the day. We spent nearly the entire day exploring various beaches around Anguilla, each offering its own unique charm. Everyone in our group thoroughly enjoyed each stop. Our lunch location was a highlight—gorgeous views, delicious food, and surprisingly reasonable prices. If we had one suggestion, it would be to include more commentary about the island during the trip. While we recognize we could have asked more questions, it would have been great to learn more about what we were seeing along the way.

Sam was an awesome guide. He offered to take us anywhere we wished in the area but we deferred to him and he had a great itinerary in mind. We hit all the nice spots on the island, had a reserved table on Pinel for lunch and some decent snorkel spots. I highly recommend them for anyone who can afford a private tour.

Beautiful Beaches and Pristine Boat

Sam was very professional. Our group ranged in age from 16-56 and everyone had a great day. The boat is very clean and the locations were gorgeous. We were on a cruise and booked this as a private excursion…we were not disappointed. This is not a high energy party boat but a chill relaxing adult day. One of the places we went had the most amazing restaurant and we had one of the best meals of our life! You have to swim to shore everywhere which was fine with us. We also swam with sea turtles :) Great Day

Great tour with accommodating guides

We had a great time! This tour is not intended for cruise ship guests, however, Sam, our tour operator, was kind enough to modify this excursion for us. We snorkeling the nature preserve, had an exceptional lobster lunch, and enjoyed Maho beach. There were plenty of drinks to go around and our family had an excellent time.

Sam, our captain, was amazing! He was very knowledgable about the islands and provided an amazing and comfortable experience. There was an unlimited supply of drinks on the boat and all the snorkel gear was provided. Sam knew of all the best snorkeling spots and spots to stop for lunch on Anguilla. We had a really awesome time and would highly recommend anyone visiting Saint Martin to incorporate this boat day into their trip!

The requests for travel documents should be an easier process and preparation for this should have been specific at time of booking. It was not easy to communicate with Sam , and although email was where he was responding to, there were several WhatsApp responses made, which was stated was the 2nd option to communicate secondary with Him. There seem to have been a lack of communication delaying the information he needed. If clearance was critical with all passport documents needed , this should have been specifically noted, he requested this information less than a week , and I responded that it was difficult to gather this as to our large group, and asked if it can be presented at the morning prior to the tour, he then emailed back saying that he needed the physical picture if all passport documents on the Nov 10 which was 2 days prior to our cruise. I hope you can appreciate what goes through the last few days planning a trip and loose ends and last min checklists that need to be looked at, to even know that this was in my inbox and or my WhatsApp. Although he was able to accommodate the private tour, there were many beaches which we were not able to see, this package was to see at least 5 stops, and we were brought to only 3 places including a restaurant which we had to cover on our own; my family was really looking to this Anguilla experience as this was not the first time in st Maarten, and was on the top of our bucket list on our cruise. Although , our itineraries were changed without choice, Overall, he was pleasant and made our boat ride enjoyable.

I'm sorry to hear that this charter didn't meet your expectations. I understand that you wasn't informed about the fact that you had to send your passports prior to a boat trip to Anguilla. Here's a copy of the informations that are clearly mentionned before to confirm a booking, and again in your confirmation e-mail : • This trip (Day charter to Anguilla) is not adapted to cruise ships passengers • A current valid passport is required on the day of travel Please send a picture of every passengers passport at least 48 hours prior to your trip via e-mail at sam@sxmboatcharter.com for customs pre-clearance at least 48 hours prior to your trip. • The listed price does not include a $35 per person clearance fee, payable at the time of tour check-in. The fee is required by Anguilla customs and is not within our control. I have sent you an e-mail a week prior to your trip to remind you to send me the informations, and have received an answer only two (2) days prior to your trip. You've been waiting the last moment to let me know that you was coming on a cruise ship, and never sent me the passports infos. To avoid any misunderstanding, I strongly recommend anyone to read the requirements before signing up on a tour. If you did read these, you would have sent me the passports details earlier and would have avoided this sort of struggles. By the way when you showed up that morning and I explained you the situation, and you treated me as a liar, your daughter showed you the confirmation e-mail with the requirements on your phone... Despite this misunderstanding, I appreciate your review and I' happy that your enjoyed your boat ride on our beautiful island !

From sight seeing and snorkeling to eating and more sight seeing, Sam gave us a great overview of Anguilla and St Maarten and we had the most wonderful time.

Was truly amazing! Sam was so nice and took us to some incredible beaches. Honestly, it's a must do in St. Martin...worth every last penny.

Sam and Mel were fantastic! They met us at the dock with hot coffee and croissants. We had a little paperwork to fill out before we departed and they took care of all of that. They took us to some fabulous spots in and around Anguilla including a wonderful place to eat lunch. They had plenty of drinks (including rum punch) and were very accommodating to our group. I highly recommend this as you are free to choose your itinerary.
