Itinerary

Spend time out on the water, and visit Tintamarre Island, with this catamaran day cruise from Simpson Bay. Cruise along the coast of St. Maarten on a 40-foot (12-meter) catamaran, with shaded seats, lounging nets, and plenty of space for just 25 passengers.

Meet at the marina at Simpson Bay to board the catamaran in the morning. As you cruise along, enjoy snacks of bread, cheese, and fruit, and an open bar with beer, wine, rum punch, juice, soft drinks, and water.

Conditions permitting, your first stop will be at Creole Rock for snorkeling with the provided gear. Afterwards, stop at Grand Case for an included lunch at Lolo’s. Afterwards, visit Tintamarre Island, where you can swim, snorkel, or sunbathe on the white sand beach.

Very large catamaran so plenty of room for to move around. Captain Suwanee and his 2 mates were outstanding. Disembarking for lunch was a real treat. Food was excellent and portions large. A very good value. Took us to 2 very good snorkeling location. All in all, a very enjoyable trip. You can tell their focus is 100% on customer service.

My first time on a catamaran and we had so much fun!!! Don’t get nervous about the 7 hours, it goes by quickly! Got to see some fish and even a turtle while snorkeling! Another unique part about this particular catamaran is the stop at the iconic Lolos for lunch which was delicious! Staff was fun. It did end up raining off and on so they had to take the sails down for safety purposes. But no complaints, they can’t control Mother Nature! Will definitely book again and suggest to others!

We had a great time on the day sail. The snorkeling at Creole Rock was great. The crew was more than accommodating and made sure you had everything you needed and more. The lunch stop at Grande Case provided great food and we had just extra time to walk through some of the local shops there. Tintamarre beach is beautiful and was a perfect spot to stop and enjoy the island.

This was our third time taking a trip on Tango since we started visiting Sint Maarten years ago and they do not disappoint! The entire trip was well organized, from prior to boarding all the way until we finished the trip back in Simpson Bay. They were careful about handling our safety and provided hand sanitizer prior to boarding and while on the boat. They took a quick temperature check before we boarded. The staff was very pleasant, helpful and provided a great deal of information if you have questions. The bar was open pretty quickly for drinks (rum punch as well as other tropical mixed drinks). They served us chunks of cheese , sliced apples and French bread while we were under sail. There might have been other options but we didn't ask. Lunch in Grand Case was Caribbean beach barbeque style at one of the local restaurants, overlooking the water. Food was decent. The crew kept the Caribbean music going throughout the trip, which added a nice flair to the overall experience. Tango stopped a few times along our trip to do snorkeling/swimming and even explore the local beaches. They provided masks, snorkels and swim fins for anyone who wanted them, plus floatation devices. All the swim gear was washed down before people grabbed them. Tango is a fairly large catamaran and does a good job of staying steady in the Caribbean waves. If you are concerned about sea sickness, take a Dramamine and enjoy the trip as my wife did. My wife and I love taking these day/evening cruises when we travel as they provide a relaxing experience on the water. I highly recommend Tango or her sister ship Lambada. The cost per person might seem high, however if you consider open bar, lunch, snacks included, plus they provide the snorkel equipment, it's well worth it.
