Wow! Just WOW. I booked this private tour as a gift for my niece following her medical school graduation. The company was wonderful. Excellent communication and service. Our driver Vincenzo shared really cool information about the area on our drive from Sorrento. Carlos, the Herculaneum guide, is a GEM! Wealth of information and so fun. Paola at Pompeii was equally fantastic. Knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and kind. We had a wonderful day. WONDERFUL!

We started with the sweetest and friendliest driver one could ask for. He answered all our questions, made great suggestions for the day, and did not hurry us. Our guide Fabio was exceptional. We learned things we would not have learned with another guide. It all exceed our expectations. I would highly recommend.

Expensive tour with poor experience

The driver got lost causing a delay that took away from our tour and lunch time. Everything was rushed and the allotted time in Pompeii was decreased by one and half hours. Tge operator was not as responsive as expected which resulted in numerous calls and text messages on my part.

Barbara, our tour guide, was fantastic! She did an excellent job keeping our children engaged and provided loads of detail about the both locations. Herculaneum was incredible and Pompeii was wonderful. We went from a cruise stop on Naples and it was excellent service to and from the port-very convenient and made a great dsy trip from Naples.

Both of our guides Franco (Herulaneum) & Josy (Pompeii) were incredibly knowledgeable about each area and delivered information about the towns, the people that would have lived there, the way of life and the eruption itself clearly and with visible passion for the subject. The day was very informative and thoroughly enjoyable. We also were able to add on a visit to the crater at Vesuvius for an additional fee, which was well worth the amazing views from the top!

Wow, what an amazing excursion. Pompeii was huge, over 17 acres, 2 hours barely made a dent in seeing this archaeological treasure. Herculaneum was much smaller and easier to get around, again just amazing. Strongly recommend this trip for visitors.

Lucia made our visit to Herculaneum & Pompeii a special experience. Her knowledge of the area helped us understand what life 2000 years ago was like. She was very easy to understand & her enthusiasm for the sites gave us a great perspective! And Umberto was a great driver!

An informative tour by a very knowledgable guide. She was very enthusiastic and made the sites interesting for us. However this "full day" tour was over by 2 pm followed by lunch. I would prefer a longer day as there was lots more to see (our amalfi coast tour finished 5pm!)

Lucia, our guide, and her husband, our driver, were both professional and engaging. Having previously visited Pompeii, I assumed that the tour would be redundant. I was both surprised and impressed. Lucia provided us incredible insight into the life of each site. Her language skills are excellent, exceeded only by her knowledge of the subject. Herculaneum was totally amazing - small but such a story and fabulous ruins. This tour was paced well and provided all of us in our group a clear understanding of each site and the life of the people. Well worth the cost of a private tour!
