Francios is very informative not only about the island but all the fruit trees, landscape and farming all over the island. The buggy isn’t always available and we were initially quite disappointed but it was incredibly hot so actually a saving grace with aircon and some interesting chats. We didn’t stop for lunch so take a packed lunch. All in all we had a great tour

Not what I thought. It was a hard day, very uncomfortable seating and terrible heat. The vehicle is cool but suitable for one person in addition to the driver guide. the other pepole Sitting on the side of the car and in retrospect it seems very dangerous and unsafe to me. I will add that Francois was angry when we asked to go into the sea and dirty his car and expected that we wouldn't go into the waterfall either, but would just take pictures because we didn't bring clothes to change/ he did not bring snacks and water as its say in vebsite but he did gave us two bananas and when i lost my hat because of the wind he said this is the last time he's coming back to get it. Francois is very knowledgeable but he loves the car too much and the travellers are needed to suite themself and make sure you dont dust and not wet and anyone who books such a trip expects an off-road trip and not museum.

I'm sorry that you didn't like it - but you should stick to the truth in your judgement:
1. we did indeed retrieve the lost hat
2. it is probably logical that it is hot in a buggy at a temperature of 35 degrees
3. normally the guests enjoy the elevated seating on the back seat, there are seat belts and the vehicle is driven very slowly
4. it should be clear to anyone booking a buggy that the seats are not the equivalent of a luxury saloon car
5. It should probably go without saying that you shouldn't get into the car with wet clothes and completely covered in sand after a dip in the sea!!!!!!
If you plan to do this, you should bring a change of clothes - that goes without saying!
6 I did offer Creole snacks, but you refused them!

The tour with Francios was fantastic with just a few disappointments, first we did not to spend any time on any off their beautiful beaches and the main reason I could not give it a 5 star was because when the tour was finished we were stuck in school traffic and were dropped off outside of town, not at the pickup point. We were told it was about a 15 minute walk back to the ship, and it was actually 50 minutes back to the pickup and another 10 to the ship.

At the end of the tour, I gave you the decision whether you wanted to be taken back to the ship or whether you wanted to explore the city on your own and then walk back to the ship. You had decided to explore the city a bit more and then go back to the ship!

Fabulous way to see round the whole island while on a stay in Mahe.
Just be aware of a surcharge of 600 rupee for a pick up if you are on the south of the island .

We had a wonderful day with Francois we drive through whole Mahé island seeing wonderful beaches and places. It was pleasure to meet him he is a great guide with a lot of knowledge about the island but you can speak with him about anything. Only problem was the time that was flying by. I think the most memorable part is the sexy car. It is something I have never seen before and it is really a head-turner. I throughly enjoyed all the places that Francois brought us too and showing us all the wild fruits that are found in Africa as well as having to taste some of them. He is a well of knowledge and I really enjoyed my time with him. I wish I can buy the same car when I am back in my own country now haha.

A combination of a dedicated, knowledgeable and funny guide, use of beach buggy for sight seeing, wonderful nature and great weather made it the perfect trip.

François was a fantastic and extremely knowledgeable guide. He knew every tree and plant on the island. He took the time to show us unique places and he had great stories. We stopped for a fantastic lunch at a food truck and I had the freshest fish curry ever. He answered every question I had about his buggy conversion. It was such a fun ride and we had the best day.

This is without a doubt the best way to see Mahe by land. Francois’ car is incredible and it is the perfect vehicle to have to enjoy the tour. As he is driving he explains about the island and pulls over on the side of the road at scenic overlooks of all of the most popular beaches as well as a few of the best kept secrets. You will learn more about the island than you ever could going around on your own. 10/10 must do this tour if you’re in Mahe.

Die Tour war für den Passagier auf dem Aussensitz körperlich anstrengend, aber es war auch ein Erlebnis. Der beste Freund von einem heißt dann: Schatten.
Sehen tut man viel und Francois erklärt auch alles, aber das bekommt während der Fahrt leider nur der Beifahrer mit. Aber in Pausen kann man dann ja nachfragen. Es war ein Erlebnis, welches man in Deutschland definitiv nicht erleben kann.

Muy recomendable! Gracias a este tour de día completo hemos podido asegurarnos de conocer toda de norte a sur. Françoise, muy amable en todo momento nos ha hecho muy bien de guia y nos ha contado mucho sobre la vegetación de la isla (muy interesante!). El único inconveniente es que solo dispone de un buggy y solo es posible hacer la excursión si no eres más de 3 personas. Muy auténtico y recomendable 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼

Si vous souhaitez découvrir l’île de Mahé, cette activité est vraiment parfaite.
De magnifiques paysages, autant de belles plages que la nature verdoyante.
Le buggy offre un très beau panorama et permet de profiter du soleil sans avoir trop chaud.
Un guide exceptionnel, qui fait preuve d’une grande sympathie. Grace à lui nous avons découvert la flore de l’île, ses coutumes, ainsi que quelques snack locaux.

Hervorragender Ausflug! 👍🏼 Wir können uns den anderen Bewertungen nur anschließen. Die Tour dauerte etwa 6h und war völlig ausreichend um die Schönsten Hotspots zu erleben. Francoise hat uns alles super und auf lustige Art und Weise erklärt. Es hat viel Spaß gemacht und es war ein sehr schöner Tag! 👍🏼

Hatten die Tour scho weit im Voraus gebucht. Am Abend davor kontaktierte man und das per WhatsApp das man uns um 9 vor dem Hotel abholt. Super Tour . Umfahren einmal die Insel und waren ein richtiger Blickfang. Die Tour hat sich echt gelohnt. Hat auch alles gut in deutsch erklärt. Zwar etwas mit Dialekt aber als Schwabe versteht man ihn gut. Oben auf dem Kofferraum war es etwas warm und windig da ist eine Sonnenbrille und davor viel Sonnencreme zu empfehlen auch an den Füßen. .

Ich kann diese Tour jedem absolut empfehlen. Francois hat uns einen ganzen Tag auf der Insel herumgefahren und Orte gezeigt, die wir so niemals hätten erkunden können. Wir sind durchs Inselinnere gefahren und habe tolle Aussichtspunkte angefahren. Auch herrliche Strände, die wir noch nicht gesehen hatten, waren auf der Tour dabei. ie Fahrt mit dem Buggy macht mega Spass. Wir waren zu dritt und hatten ein einmaliges Erlebnis. Francois geht auch auf individuelle Wünsche ein. Wichtig: Guten Sonnenschutz mitnehmen, da man wirklich den ganzen Tag mit der Nase im Wind unterwegs ist.
